Shinchan: Chaos of Anime Multiverse

Chapter 68: Chapter 68: A+A+A+A<D

Ever since she entered the room, Himawari hadn't said a word, instead secretly observing Yukinoshita Yukino and Eriri.

Very soon, Himawari came to a conclusion.

A + A + A + A < D

These two beautiful girls looked strong, but in truth wouldn't pose any real threat to Ai-chan.

Although Shin-chan explained a little, Misae still felt it was a bit strange for these two beautiful girls to be in her son's rented apartment.

Even if she were stupid, Misae could tell these two clearly had strong feelings for Shin-chan.

To think she had been so worried about this brat Shin-chan, afraid he'd be like his sister Masai and live messily on his own, yet he actually had two beautiful girls with him.

"Since that's the case, should we all eat hot pot together? I brought some ingredients, but it might not be enough. I'll go buy a bit more."

"No need, Auntie."

Yukino stood up, startling Misae, who thought she didn't want to eat with them.

"I still have some ingredients at my place. I'll just bring them over."

Ever since she had eaten sukiyaki with Shin-chan last time, Yukino had stocked her fridge with quite a few ingredients just in case.

Maybe, one day, Shin-chan would invite her to eat again? She didn't expect it to come in handy so soon.

"O-Okay…" Misae broke out in a cold sweat. 'This girl who looked cold and aloof... was actually this enthusiastic?'

"Um, Eriri, right?"

"Y-Yes!"

"No need to be so nervous. You're in the same club as Shin-chan at school? Has this child caused you a lot of trouble?"

"Not at all! Shin-chan treats me very well! He's really considerate too!"

'Why does this girl seem… not very smart?'

"That's right. I'm a very considerate gentleman," Shin-chan nodded from the side, making Misae's fists itch.

"So, Eriri, what kind of club did you all join at school?"

Misae was curious about Shin-chan's school life at Shuchiin. 'What kind of club would this kid join?'

'Swim team? Boxing club? Or some other sports club?'

Of course, Misae knew Shin-chan had to choose a sport and win some competitions to continue studying at Shuchiin.

Still, Misae wasn't too worried. The kid had excellent athletic ability, she even suspected that if he put in effort and studied seriously, he might actually do well. It's just that he was too lazy and idle. Who did he inherit that from?

"Shin-chan joined the Kendo Club and the Service Club."

'Kendo Club, huh. That kid had indeed learned kendo before. He is probably pretty talented.'

'Service Club... wait, Service Club?'

As his mother, Misae instantly thought of a bunch of R-rated scenarios.

"That's right. Yukino is the president of the Service Club. Eriri and I are both members."

Shin-chan didn't think there was anything wrong, and kept fanning the flames on the side, making Misae's expression even more twisted.

"Auntie, don't misunderstand. The Service Club is a club that helps people solve their problems. There's nothing unhealthy about it."

Yukino returned just in time, hearing them discussing the Service Club, and quickly explained what the club actually did.

"I see." Misae sighed in relief. As long as it wasn't that kind of club. She didn't want to become a grandma just yet.

"Alright then, you kids talk. I'll go prepare dinner."

"I'll help!"

"Me too!"

Hearing Misae was cooking, Yukino and Eriri immediately jumped up to help.

The three of them went to the kitchen. Himawari came over.

"Big bro, does Ai-oneechan know about this? You're spending the evening alone with two pretty girls, are you sure you won't get in trouble with Ai-oneechan?"

"What does this have to do with Ai?"

Shin-chan wasn't worried about Ai-chan scolding him. He was more concerned that Yukino and Eriri might be the ones getting dealt with by Ai-chan.

"Big bro, are you dumb or pretending to be dumb? If not for you, would Ai-oneechan have come back to Japan?"

"Anyway, I only recognize Ai-oneechan as my sister-in-law."

"Sounds like she gave you a lot of gifts, huh?"

Caught in the act, Himawari got a little guilty. But hey, isn't it normal for a sister-in-law to give presents?

"But I'm still happy you and Mom came to see me. Did you miss me?"

"No way! Big bro's such a hassle. We came because we were worried you'd be living in a total mess!"

"Himawari totally missed me, huh?"

"I did not!"

Hot pot doesn't take much prep, just handle the ingredients a little and it's done. Even Eriri could help chop vegetables.

Misae was secretly stunned by the premium wagyu Yukino brought over. 'Are these two also rich girls? Judging by their looks and aura, they certainly don't seem ordinary.'

'This brat Shin-chan is too enviable!' She worked so hard raising him, and now he's surrounded by rich girls who adore him. Even as his mother, seeing Shin-chan this smug was a bit annoying. 'What a troublesome brat!'

"Alright, hot pot's ready!"

With the ingredients Misae brought plus Yukino's, it was more than enough for the five of them.

"Come eat!"

Misae really knew how to make hot pot, flavoring was spot on. Even though some of the ingredients were discounted, the taste wasn't lacking.

Yukino's high-end ingredients didn't taste that different in a hot pot, honestly.

During the meal, Misae showed her strengths and quickly got chatting with Eriri and Yukino. She also learned a bit about their family backgrounds.

The blonde mixed-blood girl was a diplomat's daughter, while the cold black-haired one came from a real estate family. They definitely counted as rich girls.

Still, they were far inferior to Suotome Ai. So Misae wasn't too impressed.

After dinner, everyone sat together chatting. The atmosphere was good, and naturally, the conversation turned to the painting Eriri had drawn.

Eriri's portrait of Shin-chan was so vivid, it looked just like him all grown up. Even Misae was surprised when she saw it.

Praised by everyone, Eriri felt on top of the world. Today had truly made her happy.

Even though it wasn't like she imagined, alone time with Shin-chan, she still got to meet his mom and little sister and managed to get along with them well.

That had to count as being a whole step ahead of Ai-chwn, right?

What Eriri didn't know was... Ai-chan had already done all of this in kindergarten, and done it better. She hadn't even won over Himawari yet, who was still wondering whether to report all this to Ai-chan.

After all, Ai-chan didn't call Misae "auntie", she called her "Mother-in-law."
