'How? How did I forget about how dangerous this fucking tree is?' Keter could feel blood trickle down hand from how hard he was squeezing. 'I need to kill that damn bird's spawn before I forget it exists entirely.' Keter walked forward while summoned his sword and cleaved through the egg with the help of Miricle.

'From what I remember I should gain 64 fragments for this. So how close am I to being a Demon?' Keter summoned his runes and looked upon them with horror.

"Shittt-" Keter fell over screaming as he felt that horrid pain all over again, but this time it was so much worse. Keter bit down on his arm to muffle his screams. Keter's bite carved through his arm getting through all but the bone. Tears rolled down Keter's face as his soul tore itself apart and rebuilt itself anew. And so the spell announced in a voice so soft it could have been mistaken for caring.

[The Will of a Monster to become a Demon, is like the Will of a Child to feast upon its own Flesh]

And so the very existence of the being named "Keter" grew to accommodate the concept of "Demon".

Keter collapsed onto the floor as the pain faded. 'Fuck.. I hate that pain so much!' Keter breathed heavily for a while before he could finally force himself up. As he leaned against the nest he pulled up his runes.

Keter stared at the runes for a while before dismissing them. 'No, I can't use it yet. It's far too valuable to feed to [The Heart].' Keter thinks for a moment, making a plan. 'Alright first thing to do is finish the first step of my aspect legacy. Which means continuously using Miricle till the runes finish embedding themself into my back.' Keter grimises but begins to meditate focusing his healing on his arm. 'It might take days of constantly using Miricle to get me my arm back but it will be worth it by the end.

--7 Days Later--

Keter fell onto the ground as he reached the top of the tree again. 'This last week has been tiring as hell. Eating fruits, resisting the Tree's influence, sparing with Nephis, and all while my legacy digs itself into my body. Well, at least that last one finish a little while ago.' Keter eyes drifted to the side.

"Yes, I do." Keter raised the Vial to his mouth and drank from it. 'No matter what happens I will find that fountain and destroy it for me, and all those who came before.'

Keter could feel it carve itself began into his body. 'It feels similar to the Stigma.' After a few minutes, the pain simmered down and Keter looked to his runes.

Keter then put his hand outward and began trying to "push" something from his cores. Soon a faint mist began to seep out as it did Keter stared at it with amazement.

'Oh my god! I can use essence!' A huge smile grew on to his face. 'It's not much so it won't be helpful now, but I could have [Mantle of the Underworld] before I awaken.'

Keter forces himself to calm down. 'The [Mantle of the Underworld] won't matter if I don't make it out of here alive.'

'I've gained a lot today, but it's still going to take a while to get us all away from this damn tree. I have days to ponder that but what would be the condition for the next rank of my Aspect Legacy? It can't be the same as the last one, after all, I could probably complete all seven before we leave the island if that's the case.' Keter looks over his runes as he tries to find a clue but then he finds it.
