Chapter 55: Spatial Mastery

Inside a hidden base shared by Iwagakure and Kumogakure's Anbu, a few battered and exhausted shinobi stumbled in.

Their clothes were tattered, their bodies covered in wounds, and their faces pale with fear and fatigue.

These were the few survivors of the failed assassination mission against Uchiha Tsukiko.

They knelt weakly on the ground, their minds still trapped in the nightmare they had barely escaped from.

"The mission… has failed," one of them whispered hoarsely.

"What?!" An Iwagakure jōnin, in charge of receiving them, stared in disbelief.

"We sent over a hundred shinobi, including twenty jōnin—how could we have failed?!"

One of the survivors raised his trembling head, his voice shaking with terror.

"Uchiha Tsukiko… he awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan… and used Susanoo… We were completely powerless against him…"

Their horrified voices carried an undeniable truth—even just remembering that battle was enough to make their souls tremble.

The devastating news quickly reached Ōnoki, the Third Tsuchikage, and A, the Third Raikage.

In Iwagakure, Ōnoki sat in his office, frowning deeply as he read the battle report.

His hands were clasped behind his back, pacing slowly as he processed the information.

"Uchiha Tsukiko… actually awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan?"

"And he can already use Susanoo? That alone wiped out nearly all of our jōnin…?"

Recalling the terrifying power of Uchiha Madara from his youth, a cold dread crept up his spine.

His body tensed, and as he clenched his fists, a deep, menacing aura filled the room.

"That technique… that teleportation… Could it be a space-time jutsu? This kid is growing too fast!"

Despite being a physical powerhouse, capable of battling the Eight-Tails head-on, the Raikage knew that the Mangekyō Sharingan was not to be underestimated—especially in the hands of a young prodigy.

Both Ōnoki and A realized that eliminating Tsukiko was no longer something they could accomplish through a simple assassination attempt.

Not only had their plan failed, but they had also exposed their involvement, placing both Iwagakure and Kumogakure in a difficult position.

"It seems Uchiha Tsukiko can no longer be seen as just another young prodigy," Ōnoki murmured, sitting back down with a grim expression.

"A new powerhouse has emerged in Konoha, and that is not good for us."

The Raikage nodded, gritting his teeth.

"Konoha's strength has grown too much. If we make another move against Tsukiko now, it will only end in disaster. We must wait for a better opportunity."

With Konoha now cracking down on enemy spies, both Iwagakure and Kumogakure's intelligence networks were taking serious damage, further complicating their position.

Meanwhile, Tsukiko stood alone in the training grounds, surrounded by gently swaying trees, their movement synchronized with his chakra flow.

He was fully immersed in his training, refining his new powers.

The recent battle had taught him a valuable lesson—only through absolute mastery of his abilities could he truly remain undefeated.

After another intensive session, Tsukiko paused, feeling the surging chakra within him and the steady pulse of his regeneration.

"My Sage Body has now reached 61%…"

He recalled how, in the heat of battle, he had poured over 10,000 Fate Points into enhancing his Sage Body, pushing it past a critical threshold.

It was at that moment that he had awakened his "Markless Regeneration"—a skill that allowed him to heal rapidly even in combat.

Determined to check his progress, Tsukiko summoned the Fate System and examined his status panel.

He could open personal storage dimensions, phase into alternate spaces, or even use space-cutting techniques in combat.

However, some applications—such as weaponizing space slicing—required further refinement.

"This ability resembles Obito's Kamui, but it's even broader in application."

By coating his blade or his hands in spatial energy, he could cleave through objects and send them into an alternate dimension—a power that was, in essence, unstoppable.

Despite his immense growth, Tsukiko remained keenly aware of his limits.

There was still much to master, and his enemies would not remain idle.

At least, thanks to his Sage Body regeneration, he did not have to worry about blindness from Mangekyō usage.

Unlike past Uchiha, who slowly succumbed to darkness, Tsukiko could recover.

He smirked slightly.

"At least I won't be like Sasuke, overusing my Mangekyō for everything—even when going to the bathroom."

"There is still much to learn… and much to conquer."
