Sent to Another World!

Chapter 17

“Yoshinobu, that is not where the ship is.”
I headed towards the empty part of the harbor where nothing was docked.
“It’s fine. I think this place is okay?”
I summoned a flying boat.
It was normally used for rescue tasks, which was not the situation this time, but it was not a problem.

“What on earth is this…?”
“Mister Masu, shall we go?”
I boarded the flying boat with the funds for purchasing spices.

“It’s flying!!”
Masu was in a panic.
“Don’t worry, stay calm. We’ll get there soon enough.”
My attempts at comforting didn’t seem to work, and eventually, Masu started praying.

“Mister Masu, we’ve arrived.”
After about 10 hours, we reached our destination, Marinepia. But it took an additional hour for Masu to recover.

After Masu recovered, he guided me toward the Lucas Trading Company’s Marinepia branch.
“Masu! What happened?”
It seemed someone recognized Masu’s face; they were explaining something.

“So, in short, we just need to gather the spices?”
“That’s right. Can we get enough?”
“No worries. Due to the rough seas, all trading companies are holding back purchases, causing the price to drop. So, they’re available at a lower cost now.”
“That’s good to hear. I’ll leave the purchase to you.”
“I’ll arrange it immediately.”

The members of the trading company were running around the town even though the night descended.
Meanwhile, I had been sleeping due to exhaustion from driving during that time.

The next morning, a large quantity of spices have been gathered at the branch office.
“Fast work…”
“Everyone had a surplus of spice. And they all want to sell it as soon as possible.”
Masu explained.
“Well then, let’s have them transported by the flying boat.”
I summoned the flying boat to the harbor and had the cargo loaded.

“Excuse me, did you come from Raad?”
A well-dressed young man approached.
“Yes, we arrived from Raad yesterday. I’m Yoshinobu from Lucas Trading Company.”
“Do you have a way to reach Raad through the storm?”
“Yeah, we have. Once we finished loading the cargo, we plan to return to Raad.”
“Could you perhaps take me back with you?”
“Well, um, this is not a passenger ship. This vehicle is not really suitable for bringing people…”
“I understand. Please, I have an urgent need to return. I won’t complain.”
He pleaded with a serious look in his eyes.

“Understood. However, due to the large amount of cargo, we can’t accommodate many passengers.”
“Could you take me and two others?”
“Sure, but I can’t guarantee a comfortable ride. Is that okay?”
“Thank you! I’ll get ready right away.”
“Oh, by the way, may I know your name?”
“My apologies. I’m Dean Maldorado. Please take care of us along the journey.”
“Dean-san, likewise, please take care of us.”
After he greeted me, Dean left with his companions.
