Saving Uchiha, Starts by Flipping The Table

Chapter 349: Chapter 349: If You Provoke the Advisor Again, It Won’t Just Be One Broken Bone

"..."

After getting laughed at by Kurotsuchi, Deidara finally got to see a doctor.

The medical ninja, brought in by the Anbu, examined Deidara and looked surprised.

"You've suffered a serious impact, which caused a clavicle fracture. You'll need to rest for a while. Try not to move too much, and if possible, avoid fighting altogether."

"By the way, who did this to you?"

After all, these two were guests of the village.

Beating up guests inside the village was a serious offense.

"Uchiha Yan!!!"

Deidara gritted his teeth and spat out the name.

No wonder he felt so weak—Yan had been ruthless enough to snap his collarbone.

"Pffft—hahaha…"

Kurotsuchi couldn't help but burst into laughter again.

She had thought Deidara was just exaggerating, but it turned out his bone was actually broken.

Yan had clearly done it on purpose, making sure to break Deidara's collarbone so that he could barely use one of his arms. He'd have no choice but to rest for a while.

During this time, there was no way Deidara could bring up any more challenges.

Yan had no interest in sparring with some rebellious kid.

Let alone a kid who could go crazy at any moment—not just acting crazy, but actually losing his mind.

"..."

Are you freaking kidding me?!

The medical ninja twitched slightly at the corner of his mouth as he secured Deidara's limp arm and looped a bandage around his neck. Then, standing up, he said:

"This arm won't have any strength for a while, so be careful. Also, if you keep provoking the aide, next time it might not just be a broken collarbone."

"What, is he gonna break every bone in my body or something?"

Deidara scoffed, completely brushing it off.

The medical ninja smiled faintly.

"Not exactly. But Orochimaru-sama once provoked the aide and ended up being controlled by his Genjutsu, which damaged his soul.

It took him years to recover.

So you'd better think twice before provoking the aide. Otherwise, the consequences won't be pretty."

"This isn't a warning—it's advice."

What the hell? Can someone explain to me why being caught in a Genjutsu would damage your soul?

Deidara cursed silently, still unconvinced but at least keeping his mouth shut.

Seeing that Deidara had finally calmed down, the medical ninja packed up his things, satisfied, and left their temporary lodging.

Uchiha Yan, huh?

Just you wait. One day, I, Deidara, will crush you under my feet.

Too bad Yan had no idea what was going on in Deidara's head. If he did, he'd probably respond with three simple words:

You're insane.

Even though they couldn't leave their residence, they were still free to move around. Who would want to be stuck in a prison cell?

At least Kurotsuchi was in a good mood. She even had the energy to chat with the Anbu guards—too bad they ignored her.

Deidara, on the other hand, was sulking. He shut himself in his room all day, refusing to come out except for meals.

He'd had enough. Being stuck with Kurotsuchi nagging him non-stop was driving him crazy.

Luckily for him, the misery didn't last long, because two days later, Oonoki arrived in Konoha.

Worried that Konoha might do something to his disciple and granddaughter, Oonoki had flown over at top speed.

With his escort team, he flew straight to Konoha without stopping.

If he were younger and his back was still in good shape, and if flying with a whole group didn't drain so much chakra, he wouldn't have needed this much time to get there.

Before Oonoki and his group even got close to Konoha, the patrol team had already spotted them.

The patrol team immediately reported back to the village.

"Aide-sama, the Tsuchikage and his entourage from Iwagakure have arrived outside the village. They'll be here soon. Hokage-sama said you're in charge of handling them."

"Got it. Have Shizune go greet them and bring them to my office."

As soon as Shizune got the message, she put down what she was doing and rushed to the village gates to wait for Oonoki.

Flying all the way to Konoha like this was basically a provocation.

So before getting too close, Oonoki landed with his escort team and walked the rest of the way into Konoha.

When Oonoki reached the village gate and didn't see Yan, his expression stiffened slightly.

Even though he had mentally prepared himself, Yan not coming to greet him still rubbed him the wrong way.

It was one thing for Tsunade not to show up—she was the Hokage, after all. She could just wait in her office.

But for Yan not to come either? That was a bit much.

"Everyone, the advisor has asked me to take you to the Hokage's office. Please follow me."

Shizune didn't know why Yan had arranged things this way, but since he said so, she just followed orders. There was no need for her to overthink it.

Yan knew that if he didn't show up personally, Oonoki would be annoyed.

But he just didn't feel like showing up.

When I went to Iwagakure, you had the Tsuchikage's secretary receive me. So now, I'm letting the Hokage's secretary receive you.

What's wrong with that?

Besides, you're here to ask for help, not to put on a show. What's the big deal about being welcomed by the Hokage's secretary?

If you don't like it, you're free to leave. No one's stopping you.

"Hmph, let's go."

Oonoki was clearly annoyed, but he couldn't take it out on Shizune. He could only swallow his frustration and keep it to himself.

With Shizune leading the way, Oonoki and his group arrived at the Hokage's office, heading straight for Yan's office.

However, Oonoki's guards were stopped at the door and weren't allowed to enter with him.

Standing at the entrance, Itachi and Shisui decisively blocked everyone except Oonoki himself.

Looking at these two "gatekeepers," Oonoki's mouth twitched.

The Uchiha clan… They were getting stronger by the day.

"You're here. Have a seat."

The seats were already arranged, and Izumi had prepared tea. After Oonoki sat down, she poured the tea and then quietly left the office.

The room instantly fell silent, leaving only Yan and Oonoki staring at each other.

The difference was—one had a smile on his face, while the other had a dark expression, clearly in a foul mood.

"Yan, I'm here. Where are Deidara and Kurotsuchi?"

Yan said nothing. He just sat there in silence.

After a long pause, Oonoki couldn't take it anymore.

Yan could wait, but he couldn't. And seeing that smug smile on Yan's face made him inexplicably angry. It felt like Yan was mocking him.

"They're resting in the guest quarters. If the Tsuchikage wants to see them, you'll get your chance soon enough.

But, how should I put this... Letting your student and granddaughter follow guests around and cause trouble? That's not exactly a good habit, is it?"
