Chapter 7: The True Origin

"The unexpected reunion between Mitsuki and Elisa changes everything. Secrets from the past come to light as the fate of the prodigies becomes intertwined."

In the gloomy world of Gloomoria, the sky was a canvas of deep, dark violets, and the ground seemed like an ocean of dense, vivid shadows. There, at the heart of the kingdom, a group of purple-haired humanoid figures knelt silently as their King walked past with solemn steps.

The King of Gloomoria, wrapped in his dark, tattered robes, strode forward with a serene bearing. Atop his head shone a helmet in the shape of an eight-pointed star, emanating a faint purple glow. In his hand, an ancient staff sparkled with the same ethereal energy that seemed to fuel everything around him.

The subjects barely dared to breathe when the King stopped in front of a field of crystalline plants, whose leaves reflected flashes of light that contrasted with the gloom of the place. Without saying a word, he raised his staff, and a wave of dark, warm and vibrant energy descended upon the plants. They began to shine with a renewed glow, extending their life before the monarch's eyes.

A slight murmur spread among those present, but was immediately silenced by the King's deep, solemn voice:

-Silence.

The air became even more still. The King, with unexpected gentleness, continued to water the plants with the energy of his staff, appreciating the delicacy of their blossoming. After a moment of contemplation, he spoke, though it seemed more like a thought out loud:

—In the life that grows in the shadows, I find hope for a balance that can still be maintained.

He stood there, watching, until he finally turned his hoof in the direction of one of his subjects, a purple-haired old man whose presence radiated wisdom.

"Bring me news of Earth," the King ordered, his voice deep but calm. "That place… its beauty is unique. Even from a distance, I sense in its winds something this world has forgotten. Perhaps there, in the near future, lies the key to understanding what Gloomoria needs."

The subjects exchanged glances, surprised by their monarch's words. To them, Earth was just another world at the edge of the universe, one among many. But to the King, that blue planet held something special, something that resonated with him in ways that could not be explained.

The old man nodded solemnly.

—I will leave immediately, my King. Earth will have the answers it seeks.

The King nodded and took one last look at the now fully blooming plants.

—Maybe her beauty reminds me that even in the deepest darkness, life still shines.

With these words, the King turned on his heels and disappeared into the darkness, leaving behind a field of violet light that contrasted with the infinite darkness of Gloomoria.

In the kingdom of Gloomoria, as the crystal plants flourished thanks to the King's power, a different conversation began to take place. King Sorano, the monarch of Gloomoria, had ordered information about Earth, but other concerns were also echoing in his mind.

As he walked through the dark halls of the castle, the King's personal bartender appeared beside him with a glass of wine in his hand.

—My Lord, a glass of wine as usual.

—Thank you, Frerick.

King Sorano elegantly took the cup and took a sip as he continued forward. With a calm movement, he removed the star-shaped helmet covering his face, revealing his appearance. His dark purple hair was tied back, his pale skin looked almost translucent under the dim light of the castle, and his purple eyes shone brightly. A long, perfectly groomed beard completed his majestic figure.

Frerick watched him for a moment before breaking the silence:

—Mr. King, how have you been today?

"Well… everything is perfect…" Sorano replied in a calm voice, although his tone seemed distant. "I'm just not so convinced about all this… Serving a king from another world and uniting Gloomoria with the Inferno is a difficult process to accept."

The bartender nodded, understanding the burden that must weigh on his king's shoulders.

—But, my Lord, don't you get along with Volkarn?

King Sorano stopped for a moment and looked towards the horizon, where the silhouette of a floating island called Ectiviland could be seen, illuminated by mystical lights that contrasted with the darkness of the kingdom.

"Volkarn…" he murmured. "We don't get along, Frerick. But I have to bear it for the sake of Gloomoria."

Frerick, though faithful, could not help but express his fear:

—Aren't you afraid? Living with the King of the Underworld and sharing the troops of this world with him... is something that few could endure.

King Sorano slowly turned towards him, his expression cold but firm.

—Fear? I am King Sorano. Why would I fear a... common king?

The King's words rang with absolute authority, but the impact was enough to make Frerick take a step back in fear. He, like many others, did fear Volkarn, the fearsome King of the Underworld.

—But, King... Volkarn is going to use your children as henchmen. They are very young, each one is less than 10 years old, aren't you worried about that?

King Sorano clenched the cup in his hand, and though his countenance did not change, an obvious tension crossed his gaze.

—You're partly right. —He sighed. —But I'd rather they suffer and learn to find their own paths over time... Than have something else happen to them...

Suddenly, with a sharp movement, he threw the wine glass with force, smashing it against a nearby henchman. The sound of breaking glass echoed through the dark hallways.

"Sir! Why did you do that?" Frerick asked nervously.

Sorano looked at him for a moment before answering:

—Sorry, it was an impulse. —He paused and looked down. —I trust you, Frerick, so I'll be honest with you.

Frerick fell silent, feeling the weight of what the King was about to confess.

—It strikes my pride to feel inferior to another king deep down... and not be able to do anything if he wants to use my children.

King Sorano clenched his fists, and for the first time, his voice seemed filled with suppressed pain.

—Mitsuki... Antho... Elisa... Hitana... The four of them are in constant danger. But I don't think Volkarn would be so wretched as to kill them for no reason... It would be better for him to have minions with their potential... even if they are children.

Silence filled the hall as Frerick tried to process what he had just heard. To him, Volkarn was an imposing and terrifying figure, but the fact that even King Sorano, with his unwavering bearing, felt this pressure spoke to the magnitude of the danger they faced.

The King sighed deeply and looked at a picture of Ectiviland, with a mixture of nostalgia and concern.

—Sometimes I wonder if a world as beautiful as Earth could be the refuge my children need... or if I am simply condemning them to a worse fate.

As King Sorano continued to walk through the vast halls of his castle, covered in shadows and a violet glow, Frerick, his bartender, followed him silently. The conversation with his king had left him uneasy, but he couldn't help but voice his thoughts.

"My Lord… have you considered sending them somewhere else?" Frerick asked carefully. "Perhaps to Earth… when the infernals are careless. It might be a way to protect them."

King Sorano stopped abruptly. He turned his head slowly towards Frerick, his gaze a mixture of calm and hardness.

"Who do you take me for, Frerick? Of course I've considered that." He paused and continued walking, his voice echoing in the hallway. "However, it is also in our interest, unfortunately, that they serve him from a young age. It is a mutual agreement."

Frerick's heart sank. The idea that the King of Gloomoria, whom he so admired, had agreed to such a deal was devastating to him.

"But how could he agree to something like that, My Lord?" he asked, his voice shaking. "His own children? To serve Volkarn?"

King Sorano reached the end of the hall, where his imposing throne awaited him. He sat down with a relaxed posture but a look of authority. With a slow movement, he placed his staff on the ground and clasped his hands on it, staring at Frerick.

King Sorano leaned back in his throne, his gaze fixed on the bartender, as his voice grew sharp and authoritative:

—Don't question me, Frerick.

Suddenly, the entire room went dark. The violet glow disappeared, and darkness enveloped the stage as if it had never existed.

Allivy's sphere flickered briefly before fading away, plunging the room into darkness. Allivy, visibly annoyed, clenched the sphere in her hand, frustrated by the interruption.

"Not again!" he exclaimed in exasperation.

Mitsuki, who had been silently watching what was being projected, looked up and approached Allivy, her face reflecting bewilderment.

—It's interesting to see something about my father, but... what does all this have to do with what we were going to talk about? —said Mitsuki, visibly confused by the abrupt change of subject.

Allivy sighed and began to speak calmly, as if she were about to reveal something important.

—I'm sorry, I didn't want to change the subject, but this has to do with something bigger, something you need to know. You and your sister are not only connected by the same destiny as part of the Miraculous, but also by a place called Gloomoria.

Mitsuki frowned, a hint of confusion on his face. "Gloomoria? I told you, I thought it was a place on Earth."

Allivy smiled softly, relieved that at least Mitsuki had some idea of the name.

—It's understandable. But then, Gloomoria isn't from Earth. It's one of the 5 worlds, and it was where your sister Elisa was before you. She was the first prodigy, not you, and Alaska mentioned this to you the other day.

Mitsuki fell silent, slowly absorbing what Allivy had just told her. "My sister… and what does Gloomoria have to do with all this?"

—It's important that you know where you come from. Gloomoria plays a crucial role in everything that's happening, and not just with your sister, but also with you and your destiny. —Allivy said, with a serious look.

Mitsuki processed the words, something in him starting to click. "So this whole prodigy thing isn't just about my present, right? It has to do with my sister and something even bigger? You never cease to amaze me, Allivy."

"Yes," Allivy replied with a mysterious smile. "And you are part of that destiny. It is good that you know all that."

Mitsuki, still thoughtful, looked towards the horizon, feeling the weight of the revelations.

After a brief silence, Allivy changed her tone, as if what she had just said was not so important.

—Well, changing the subject a bit... I'll be sending you on your first mission soon! —Allivy exclaimed, almost jumping with excitement—. And then you'll have your first class with Mister Allivy!

Mitsuki looked at her, confused by her enthusiasm. He thought she might be joking, considering how lively she seemed.

"Mr. Allivy?" Mitsuki thought in disbelief. "What is this, a joke?"

Still, he couldn't help but smile a little at the way Allivy had said it. He wasn't sure what to expect, but it seemed like the situation was taking a turn he hadn't anticipated.

"Really? My first mission? And a class with you?" Mitsuki said in a sarcastic tone, clearly doubting the seriousness of what Allivy had said.

"Of course!" Allivy replied with a playful laugh. "Don't worry, you'll take it seriously when you see what it's all about. But for now, get ready. Your adventure begins soon!"

Mitsuki couldn't help but laugh at the way Allivy seemed so excited about something he didn't fully understand yet.

"I don't know if I should be scared or excited..." he muttered to himself, although inside he couldn't help but feel intrigued by what awaited him.

Here is the modified ending to include the shock of both of them seeing each other:

While Mitsuki was still processing what he had just heard, a soft but firm series of knocks on the door interrupted him. Allivy, visibly excited, immediately stood up.

"It didn't take long!" he said with a smile, as if he knew exactly who was on the other end. "You'll see!"

Mitsuki frowned, feeling somewhat confused and nervous. "Who came?" he wondered, trying to calm his growing curiosity.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Mitsuki asked, somewhat tense, seeing Allivy's excitement.

—Don't be nervous, it's a very good thing, just relax... —Allivy replied, winking at him and, as if she were teasing him, she added—: You didn't expect it anyway!

The front door opened, revealing Alaska standing in the doorway, accompanied by a figure Mitsuki couldn't immediately recognize. The figure entered, taking a graceful step.

The person's face was completely familiar to him, but at the same time so distant in his mind that it took him a moment to identify it.

Allivy looked at Mitsuki with a playful expression, then turned to the figure that had entered.

—Mitsuki... I want you to see someone very special. This is... —he said with a wide smile, his voice barely containing the emotion.

(Narrator) The figure stepped forward, revealing herself completely. It was a woman with an elegant bearing, with short, night-dark purple hair, a unique glow in her purple eyes that sparkled as her gaze met Mitsuki's.

(Narrator) They both stood in shock at the sight of each other, as if time had stopped. Mitsuki couldn't believe his eyes; the woman in front of him was... Elisa. His sister, whom he hadn't seen in 10 years, whom he thought was just a shadow of his past.

Elisa, equally shocked, couldn't help but stand still, staring at Mitsuki. Her expression went through a torrent of emotions, but all she could do was whisper, in a broken voice:

—Mitsuki...!?

For a moment, neither of them could move, as if their bodies couldn't process what was happening.

Allivy watched the moment in silence, a slight smile on her lips. She knew this meeting would change many things.

Elisa, without warning, approached at full speed and delivered a brutal blow to Mitsuki's chest with all her strength, causing blood to gush from his mouth while he stood still, completely surprised.
