Chapter 4: Prismargy: The Unexpected Challenge"

- "As he enters the mysterious world of "The Prismargy" Mitsuki, he discovers one of the places where reality is distorted and the rules are changed. After facing a gigantic monster, he discovers that his mission is far from what he expected. When an unexpected figure appears, the real challenge begins." -

Mitsuki floated in what seemed to be space. Around him, a vast starry blanket stretched infinitely, and the lights of distant galaxies flickered with a calmness that seemed to envelop him completely. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, feeling a peace he rarely experienced.

"This feels so real…" he murmured with a gentle smile. "I wish it were true."

The cold emptiness, combined with the majesty of the cosmos, produced an ecstatic relaxation. It was as if the universe was whispering to him that everything was fine, that chaos and worries did not exist in this corner.

However, the quiet was interrupted by a soft, familiar laugh.

—How lovely to see you so comfortable, Mitsuki.

The young man opened his eyes, confused, only to find Allivy floating near him. She was wearing her iconic robes worthy of a celestial goddess, with an aura that perfectly matched the dreamlike setting.

"You? What are you doing here?" Mitsuki asked, frowning, but not completely losing that sense of calm.

"Isn't it obvious?" Allivy replied, with a playful smile. "I'm invading your dreams again, wake up."

"What need do you have of ruining this perfect moment?" Mitsuki replied, exasperated, as he let himself float towards her with a mixture of annoyance and tranquility.

Allivy smiled even wider, moving a finger in the air as if she were writing something.

—Mess it up? Don't be so dramatic. I'm just here to remind you that it's time for your prodigy test mission!

With a snap of his fingers, the universe around Mitsuki crumbled into a whirlwind of light and color. Before he could protest, he felt his body being pulled back into reality.

Mitsuki opened her eyes in her room with her heart beating fast, still feeling the echo of the stars. A loud knock on the door broke the moment.

"Get up, sleepyhead!" Alaska called from the other side, in her ever-energetic tone. "Allivy says you're already late for your final test."

Mitsuki slowly sat up, running a hand through his hair as he sighed.

—I definitely don't get any breaks from you, do I Allivy? —he muttered to himself, as he stood up, already knowing that today wasn't going to be a quiet day.

Once they were in a meadow far from the previous area, the sky was clear, with a light breeze that made Mitsuki's locks of hair dance as they walked along a path that bordered a cliff. In the distance, the gigantic island of Ectiviland rose like a fortress on the horizon, its silhouette outlined against the blue of the sea. Mitsuki couldn't help but take a last look back, trying to understand how they had come so far so quickly.

"So, is someone going to explain to me what this 'ultimate mission' is?" Mitsuki asked, in his usual calm tone, although his eyes reflected a slight interest.

Allivy, walking ahead with a determined, dramatic stride, turned on her heels (creator's note: yes, she still wore heels even on rough terrain) and cast a knowing glance at Alaska, who walked with a mix of exhaustion and confusion.

"Ah, Mitsuki, Mitsuki!" Allivy exclaimed, raising a finger in the air as if she were about to give a lecture. "Today's mission is to access a prismargy."

"A what?" Alaska interjected, tilting her head with an expression of utter bewilderment.

Allivy made a graceful leap onto a nearby rock, using it as a makeshift stage.

"A prismargia!" he repeated excitedly, spreading his arms as if he were revealing a great secret. "Look, Alaska, Mitsuki, imagine this: a place so strange that it seems the planet has had enough of following the rules. A prismargia is a… phenomenon, an anomaly, something that happens when you go too deep into a planet."

Mitsuki raised an eyebrow.

—What kind of phenomenon?

"Oh, dear Mitsuki, it's like the planet decided to open a door to its eccentric side!" Allivy said, gesturing broadly. "Let's say you're in a normal cave, okay? You walk down, go down a little further, and suddenly, bam! The floor disappears, and before you know it, you're falling into something that has nothing to do with where you came from."

Alaska frowned.

—Is it like falling into another world?

"Exactly!" Allivy exclaimed, pointing dramatically. "A prismargia is like a fever dream of the planet. A world within a world, with its own rules, strange colors, impossible creatures… It's like the planet is playing conceptual artist!"

Mitsuki crossed his arms, clearly unconvinced.

—And how does something like that exist?

Allivy shrugged with a mischievous smile.

—Oh, details, details. No one knows exactly how or why they appear, but what matters is that you, dear Mitsu, will have to go in and… well, survive.

"Survive?" Alaska repeated, staring at Allivy with wide eyes.

"Of course," Allivy replied, turning around and heading back down the path. "Don't worry, though. Most people who enter a prismargy just disappear forever."

"What?" Mitsuki and Alaska exclaimed in unison.

"I was joking!" Allivy laughed, though her smile left a hint of doubt. "Well, partly."

As they moved forward, Mitsuki looked back at the ever-distant island of Ectiviland, wondering when her life had become so strange.

"So what's the real goal?" Mitsuki asked.

"You'll find out when you get there," Allivy replied in an enigmatic tone, as the path began to slope toward a dark entrance that seemed to lead deep into the earth.

Allivy walked a few steps ahead, casually adjusting her hair. Suddenly, she stopped and turned to Mitsuki with a playful smile.

"Listen carefully, Mitsuki. You only need to know two important things for this mission." He pulled a bracelet that looked like it came from a top-secret laboratory out of his tunic pocket. "I'll give you a phone number. Install it on this bracelet. It's state-of-the-art technology, huh? Nothing you've ever seen before."

Mitsuki raised an eyebrow, clearly confused, but he took the bracelet and began to fiddle with it. The holographic screen flashed as he entered the number, and a name appeared in front of him.

"Gisi Kuyomizu?" he read aloud, eyeing Allivy suspiciously.

"Exactly!" she replied, pointing at it excitedly. "If at any point you feel like things are getting out of hand, just press this little set of buttons here." She showed him a discreet combination on the side of the bracelet. "And voila, you'll be safe in no time."

Mitsuki looked at the bracelet with a mix of curiosity and skepticism.

—And how is that supposed to save me?

Allivy smiled mischievously and shrugged.

—Ah, dear Mitsuki, where's the fun if I explain everything to you? It will be a unique experience for you… Just trust me… well, enough. —He winked at her—. Believe me, I didn't come to kill you with this mission. Although… —he made a dramatic pause and raised his eyebrows—, it wouldn't be the worst way to go out, right?

Mitsuki looked at her with narrowed eyes, sighing.

—Your sense of humor is somewhat… strange.

"There are times when you just have to laugh, Mitsu," Allivy replied with a light laugh, before walking away again as if nothing had happened.

As they approached, they saw the entrance to a dark, damp cave, surrounded by a faint mist that seemed to move as if it had a life of its own. Allivy, with a smile radiating confidence, looked at Mitsuki.

—Good luck! I know you'll do great. After all, you always find a way to surprise us. —He put a hand on her shoulder, his carefree tone contrasting with the seriousness of the place.

Alaska, standing next to Allivy, seemed a little more tense. Her gaze alternated between Mitsuki and the cave entrance. Finally, she took a deep breath and said:

—Hey, Mitsuki… take care of yourself in there, okay? Good luck. —Although she tried to sound calm, her voice betrayed a hint of nervousness.

Mitsuki didn't say anything. He simply gave them a confident look before heading into the cave.

At first, everything seemed normal. The cave was nothing more than a network of tunnels with rough walls and an echo that amplified every step. However, when he took a wrong step, the ground suddenly gave way beneath his feet.

"What the…?!" Mitsuki exclaimed as he plummeted into an endless abyss.

The air whistled around him as he fell, and for a moment, a flicker of fear crossed his mind. But as the darkness began to give way to a strange flash of iridescent blue light, something inside him told him he wasn't going to die.

Finally, he hit the ground with surprising agility, landing on his feet as if it had been a perfectly calculated landing.

"What the hell was that…" he muttered, looking around with half-closed eyes.

The place where he had landed was nothing like the inside of the cave. The floor was covered in a crystalline material that reflected impossible colors, and the air seemed charged with a palpable energy. Mitsuki stood still for a moment, trying to process what had just happened.

"So, this is prismargy…" he said to himself, a small smile beginning to form on his lips.

As Mitsuki looked up further, the first thing that struck him was the dazzling brightness of a completely blue sky, more intense than he had ever seen before. The place was so colorful that it almost hurt his eyes to adjust. Everything seemed to vibrate with life, as if the colors themselves were breathing.

All around them, enormous waterfalls rose from impossible sources. Water fell in all directions, even upward, forming arcs that floated in the air before dissipating into luminous mist. Each drop of water sparkled as if it contained its own miniature rainbow, and the sound of the falls was a harmonious, almost musical echo.

Mitsuki began to walk, observing the structures emerging from the ground, strange and fascinating. A spiral tower made of translucent crystal rose in the distance, its surface reflecting all the colors of the surroundings like a giant prism. Nearby, a series of suspension bridges seemed to be formed from ropes made of solid water, connecting floating islets covered in luminescent vegetation.

On the ground, puddles of water vibrated as if they were living mirrors, reflecting not only the sky and the surroundings, but scenes from other places that Mitsuki didn't recognize. It was as if reality itself was being filtered through a kaleidoscopic lens.

As he moved forward, small floating orbs of light began to surround him, flickering softly and following his every move. They were like curious, yet harmless guardians. Mitsuki watched them with a mixture of wariness and wonder.

—This place is… unreal. —He whispered to himself, still trying to take in the magnitude of what he was seeing.

In the distance, a temple-like formation began to become visible through the shimmering mist. Its structure seemed to be made of an unknown, bluish-colored metal, which reflected the light of the falls in hypnotic shapes. It had massive doors with engravings that pulsed with a bluish glow, as if they were waiting for him.

Mitsuki, his eyes still slightly narrowed from the intensity of the atmosphere, took a deep breath and walked forward towards the temple. He had no idea what awaited him there, but one thing was certain: there was no turning back.

Mitsuki walked through the interior of the temple, surrounded by kaleidoscopic patterns that seemed to breathe a life of their own. His gaze darted from side to side, trying to understand the place, but all he managed to do was feel more lost.

"What kind of asylum is this?" he muttered, gently kicking a floating rock that passed by him. "Allivy couldn't have picked a more relaxing place, could she?"

A buzzing sound began to fill the air, and Mitsuki stopped dead in his tracks.

—Ok… That doesn't sound like a welcome…

The noise increased, causing the ground to shake. Mitsuki frowned and looked towards the altar.

—I'm sure if I touch that, something horrible will happen. Because it really is very similar to…

A deafening sound suddenly exploded, forcing him to fall to his knees as he brought his hands to his ears.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" he screamed, trying to get up as the ground shook violently beneath his feet. "I didn't come here to go deaf, dammit!"

The floating columns began to fall, and Mitsuki dodged one that passed inches from his purple eyes.

—Really?! Why do I always end up in the center of the disaster? —he growled as he ran towards one of the walls to take better cover.

As the light momentarily blinded him, Mitsuki froze. He looked up at the reflections of the broken glass, and there it was: a gigantic eye, slowly rotating in the shards, as if appraising him.

—Oh, great. Now I have a giant stalker. Perfect.

The eye blinked, and the sound wave sent him sprawling backwards to the ground.

"Damn it! What is that thing?" he gasped, standing up as his eye moved from one reflection to another.

The ground began to crumble beneath his feet, and Mitsuki let out a bitter laugh.

—Of course! Because a collapsing temple wasn't enough. Now a giant eye wants to kill me. How fun.

Every time he took a step towards the exit, the eye seemed to move faster, following his every movement.

"Leave me alone, you fucking weirdo!" he shouted as he dodged a piece of column that fell in front of him.

A sound louder than the previous ones rumbled through the air, and Mitsuki looked down at the void that was beginning to open beneath his feet.

—Oh no, no, no! Don't you dare swallow the ground too! —he exclaimed, jumping to the side just in time to avoid falling.

He ran towards what remained of the temple entrance, dodging the rubble and the glowing void that stretched out everywhere.

—Allivy! Alaska! You could have warned me about this, dammit! —he shouted, even though he knew no one was listening.

The eye appeared once more in a nearby reflection, and Mitsuki looked at it feigning calm as he dashed toward the exit with his back turned.

—Yeah, you too! See you in hell, motherfucker!

With one last leap, Mitsuki managed to get out just before the temple completely collapsed behind him, leaving him gasping on the ground as the rumbling slowly faded away.

—I'm definitely not testing Allivy anymore, she muttered, trying to catch her breath.

Mitsuki stood up from the ground, brushing off the remnants of glittering dust that covered his body. The momentary calm didn't last long; a heavy vibration ran through the platform he was standing on, causing him to look down warily.

—This is definitely a welcome…

The shaking increased, and Mitsuki noticed something strange on the translucent surface beneath her feet: a pair of giant lips curling into a sinister smile. Her stomach lurched.

"Huh? Please!" he cried, instinctively stepping back, but the entire platform began to sink.

The monster slowly emerged, its shape as surreal as it was threatening. Its body looked like a cross between a llama and an elephant, with wavy fur in iridescent hues that changed with every movement. Its fangs shone like crystal, and its eyes were two liquid spheres that reflected the chaos of the surroundings. But what stood out most were those giant lips that slowly opened, revealing a dark abyss that seemed to want to devour everything in its path.

"Oh, great, I'm going to be eaten by an animal!" Mitsuki exclaimed as the platform tilted even further, forcing him to keep his balance.

The monster let out a roar that echoed like a chorus of warped echoes. Mitsuki reflexively covered his ears, but the movement threw him off balance, causing him to fall to his knees.

"Who was the lunatic who created this?!" he screamed, watching in horror as the creature opened its mouth even wider, as if it was relishing the idea of devouring him.

Suddenly, the ground gave way completely, and Mitsuki fell straight into the monster's mouth.

"Shit, shit, that's fucking disgusting!" he screamed, trying to grab onto the slippery edges of the platform, but there was nothing that could hold him.

Before he could react, he was already inside the monster, floating in a strange space that seemed to have no gravity. All around him was a chaos of undulating colors and textures, as if he were trapped inside a living kaleidoscope.

"Really? I'm now a giant flame elephant's lunch! This couldn't be any weirder!" he complained, trying to find his bearings in the strange surroundings.

The monster's insides moved as if it were alive, squeezing and stretching the glowing walls surrounding it. Mitsuki, frustrated, punched one of the nearby surfaces, causing the place to vibrate aggressively.

"Okay, you weirdo! You wanna fight? Let's do it!" he shouted, trying to sound braver than he felt.

Just as he was thinking about how to get out of there, the walls slowly began to close in. The monster clearly had no intention of letting him go so easily.

Mitsuki was breathing heavily as the monster's insides seemed to want to crush him with each undulating movement. He was pounding against the slimy walls in a desperate attempt to free himself, but to no avail.

"This is ridiculous!" he growled, finally stopping and clapping a hand to his face in frustration. "How am I supposed to get out of a giant, goddamn elephant llama?!"

At that moment, a crazy idea crossed his mind. He looked around, remembering how strange that place was, and his eyes flashed with a glint of determination.

—Everything here is weird, but me. I'm stupid.

He stood still for a moment, taking a deep breath. He closed his eyes and recalled what Allivy had said about his innate abilities. He reached out a hand to his face, gently stretching the skin near his eyes. A sudden warmth ran through his body, and a purple energy began to envelop him like a vibrant aura.

—I have my tricks too, Panzón…

Suddenly, his body disintegrated in a bright purple flash, leaving a momentary void inside the monster. Mitsuki reappeared outside the creature, panting, but with a satisfied smile on his face.

"How could I forget!" he exclaimed, observing the monster from outside, who now seemed confused and furious at not finding him inside.

Without wasting any time, Mitsuki extended his right hand and let the purple energy surrounding him gather in his palm. He calmly overloaded it, but it was building up to an almost uncontrollable point, but he couldn't stop now.

"This is for trying to eat me, you idiot!" he shouted, launching himself towards the monster.

With all his strength, Mitsuki struck the creature's lower stomach, and the impact was devastating. Purple energy exploded in all directions, blasting the monster into a thousand pieces. The air was filled with a deafening roar and a shower of sky-blue blood covered Mitsuki from head to toe.

The boy fell to his knees on the ground, his right hand shaking and aching from the effort. He looked down at his palm, now red and slightly injured, and let out a breathy laugh.

"You shouldn't have messed with me, creature..." he murmured, exhausted but relieved to have escaped alive.

He slowly stood up, still covered in the monster's bright blood, and looked at the strange environment left by what was left of the monster.

Mitsuki stood on a huge flat rock in front of a waterfall that seemed to float in the air. The water fell in strange shapes, as if gravity was optional, creating a mesmerizing sound that filled the air. Without thinking too much, Mitsuki took off his black jacket with purple lines, now completely soaked in celestial blood, and tossed it aside.

"Disgusting…" he muttered as he slid into the crystal-clear water surrounding the rock.

The water was surprisingly warm, and as he submerged himself completely, he felt the sticky spots and tension slide off his body. He closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the moment of peace in a place that seemed designed to confuse and bewilder.

She rose from the water after one last dip, her soaked hair dripping as she sat back down on the rock. She looked at her hands, especially her right one, still sore from the punch she had thrown.

"It took me a long time to attack…" he mused out loud, frowning as he rested his elbows on his knees. "This place… it plays on the nerves of anyone who enters. I didn't recognize myself for a moment, and that was pretty weird."

He sighed, running a hand through his already soaked blonde hair.

—Normally I would have destroyed that thing in seconds. But I couldn't get my thoughts together… —he admitted, letting a nervous laugh escape his lips.

He brought a hand to his forehead, blushing slightly as he scoffed at himself.

—I got too upset on my own. How pathetic… it wasn't even hot enough for me to melt like that.

He stood in silence for a moment, staring out at the waterfalls and the strange sky that changed colors like a kaleidoscope. It was a strange world, but he couldn't allow himself to let his guard down again. He stood up, exhaling deeply as he made himself comfortable as best he could.

—Okay, Mitsuki, enough of being an idiot. Let's get moving before another elephant-lama tries to make me his dinner. —He smiled, more encouraged, and began walking towards the unknown with renewed determination.

Mitsuki continued forward, still wet and feeling as if this strange world was trying to confuse him more with each step he took. As he explored, he encountered phenomena that defied all logic: trees with roots floating in the air, fruit that disintegrated when touched and reformed in a matter of seconds, and fish that swam out of the water like birds.

"Wow, nothing here makes any sense…" Mitsuki muttered, watching as a seemingly harmless rock floated to a high point and then fell as if it had a life of its own.

Further ahead, he found a structure that seemed to be a bridge made of crystals that reflected everything but his own image. As he crossed it, a warm breeze enveloped him, and he could see what seemed to be a giant nest, where small, luminous creatures moved in perfect synchrony, creating shapes in the air as if they were dancing.

—Beautiful, but this doesn't help me at all… —Mitsuki commented, appreciating what he saw carefully.

After hours of wandering, with the sun non-existent in this seemingly timeless world, he realized he was not moving anywhere.

"What am I supposed to do here?" he growled, kicking a rock that immediately flew away as if it had wings of its own. "This is absurd."

After wandering around and facing the chaos of the place, Mitsuki decided to take out his cell phone. He sat down on a floating rock and, with a sigh of resignation, dialed Allivy's number.

As he waited, he watched a group of brightly colored fish swim in circles in the air, singing melodies. "Nice concert," he thought.

Finally, Allivy's carefree voice answered on the other end:

—My, my! Missing your mentor so quickly?

—Missing you isn't the word… —Mitsuki said, while running a hand through his wet hair—. I'm lost. This place is a mess for me.

—Oh, please! Are you tired of exploring the wonders of prismargia?

—If by "wonders" you mean monsters trying to eat me and structures floating for no apparent reason, then yes, I'm fed up.

Allivy gave a light laugh.

—Relax, Mitsuki. This place is designed to take you out of your comfort zone. By the way, have you used the bracelet?

"The bracelet? I thought it was just a fashion gadget…" Mitsuki replied, looking at the device on her wrist skeptically.

—Ha! It's much more than that. The bracelet can absorb and channel some of the energy in this place. Use it if you need to stabilize yourself or concentrate your power.

—And you couldn't tell me that before you threw me in here?

"Where would be the fun in that?" Allivy joked. "Besides, I didn't send you there just to wander around. The Bracelet also serves to call a person, who will help you with your real mission in there!"

—Great. In that case, let's not waste any more time. I guess it's time to trust your damn technology —Mitsuki said, eyeing the bracelet suspiciously.

"That's what I wanted to hear!" Allivy replied enthusiastically. "Now that you've familiarized yourself a bit with prismargy, now is the perfect time. Get ready to go become a Prodigy!"

Before Mitsuki could respond, Allivy abruptly hung up.

"What? And was it so difficult to say goodbye in a better way?" Mitsuki murmured, squeezing the bracelet in resignation.

With a quick twist of the side panel, he activated the device. Instantly, a burst of purple energy surrounded him and everything around him began to change. Gravity seemed to lose control: floating rocks began to spin, the water in the waterfalls curved like spirals, and he himself felt as if he were being pulled in all directions at once.

"Enough! What now?!" Mitsuki screamed, clinging to the ground that seemed to be rocking like a ship in a storm.

After a few seconds that seemed like an eternity, everything returned to normal. The water returned to its course, the rocks stabilized, and Mitsuki let out a sigh of relief as she stood up straight.

—Well, at least I didn't explode. That's already an achievement in this place.

Suddenly, a strange sound for that place broke the silence: snoring. Mitsuki froze, looking around in disbelief.

— Snoring? Here…

He turned slowly towards the source of the noise and, to his amazement, saw a girl curled up on a nearby rock, sleeping soundly. She looked incredibly similar to Allivy, but with a pink-dyed pigtail hairstyle that fell in soft waves over her shoulders.

—What… how…? —Mitsuki approached carefully, observing her as if she were some kind of prismargia hallucination. —And who the hell are you? And how did you end up here out of nowhere?

The girl stirred slightly, muttering something incomprehensible in her sleep, still fast asleep. Mitsuki scratched his head, puzzled.

"This has to be a joke. Are you telling me this thing can teleport people from their beds?" She crossed her arms, looking at the bracelet. "Allivy, I hope you have a good explanation for this…"

Cautiously, Mitsuki tried to wake the girl.

—Hey, you. Wake up, you weird copy of Allivy. This isn't exactly the best place to take a nap…

Mitsuki moved a little closer, leaning over the girl as she continued to snore softly. With a light touch on her shoulder, he tried to wake her up.

—Hey, this isn't a hotel. Get up.

The girl stirred a little, but did not open her eyes. In a sleepy and somewhat irritated voice, she murmured:

—Let me sleep…

Mitsuki took a step back, in disbelief.

—Let me sleep? Really? — We're in a prismargy, a world that's literally trying to kill you, and you decide this is the perfect place to take a nap.

The girl turned over on the rock, curling up even more comfortably. Mitsuki stared at her for a moment, before letting out a long sigh.

He leaned toward her again, closer this time, and said in a firmer tone:

—Hey, sleepyhead, I don't know how you got here, but if you don't get up right now, I swear I'll... I don't know, throw you in the water to wake you up?

The girl only responded with a slight grunt, while Mitsuki rolled his eyes and scratched his head, feeling more frustrated than ever with how difficult the day was.

Mitsuki watched the girl who was still curled up on the rock, with no intention of moving.

"Are you going to tell me who you are or would you rather I leave you here for some monster to use you as a pillow?" Mitsuki asked, in a sarcastic tone.

The girl yawned and finally opened one eye, looking at him with an expression that was a mix of laziness and annoyance.

—Mitsuki, can you stop making so much noise? I'm trying to sleep here —he replied in a tone as casual as if they were in a living room, not in a surreal and dangerous world.

Mitsuki blinked, confused.

—Another one who knows my name? This is already too much.

She stretched as if she had just woken up from the best nap of her life, completely ignoring the question.

—You're always so intense, aren't you? It's so typical of you to get upset about everything. Relax a little, will you?

"Typical of me? What are you saying…" Mitsuki took a step back, frowning. "I don't even know you."

The girl finally sat down, crossing her legs and resting her chin on one hand as she looked at him as if appraising him.

The girl yawned, ignoring his annoyed tone, and replied with disconcerting calm:

—You don't know me, but I know you. Mom has told me about you and your mission.

Mitsuki frowned, clearly confused.

—Mom? My mission? What are you talking about?

The girl, with an expression that was a mix of laziness and amusement, opened one eye and looked at him as if he were explaining something obvious to her.

—Allivy Kuyomizu. Who else?

Mitsuki took a step back, so surprised that he almost tripped on a rock.

"Allivy is your mother!?" he exclaimed, very surprised. "How is that possible? She never mentioned that she had a daughter."

The girl yawned again and shrugged.

—He doesn't go around saying it. It's not like it's a casual topic of conversation.

Mitsuki raised an eyebrow, clearly even more intrigued.

—And your father? Is Allivy married or something?

She gave a short laugh, as if the question seemed absurd to her.

-No.

The answer was so direct that Mitsuki was silent for a moment, his mind trying to fill in the gaps in the story.

—So… how is it possible? —he asked, still in disbelief.

The girl sighed, stretching as if she was bored with the topic.

—It's a long story, but let's say that I only have genes solely and exclusively from her.

Mitsuki blinked a few times, completely baffled.

—That doesn't make sense…

—It doesn't have to make sense to you, —she interrupted with a mocking smile—. Now, since you woke me up, let's do your mission. I want to finish quickly so I can go back to sleep.

Mitsuki put a hand to her forehead and let out a long sigh.

—This is incredibly rare, even by the standards of this place.

She stood up with unexpected agility, adjusting the ponytails in her hair.

—Welcome to my life, Mitsuki. Come on, show me how good you are.

As they walked through the strange, shifting landscape, the sky-blue hues of the place began to fade, slowly being replaced by a deep pink that tinted the air. Mitsuki looked around, amazed at how quickly the environment seemed to change, as if the world itself was shaping itself around him.

"And what's your name?" Mitsuki asked, trying to divert his attention from the surreality that surrounded them.

The girl looked at him with a lazy smile, as if she had forgotten about the question until that moment.

"My name is Gisi Kuyomizu," he replied without much enthusiasm.

Mitsuki couldn't help but feel more confused, but he didn't have time to process it as Gisi continued speaking, his tone changing to a more serious one.

—And today… your mission will be to defeat me in a fight.

Mitsuki stopped dead in his tracks, his mind processing the words. He hadn't expected that at all.

"What?" he asked, unable to hide his surprise.

Gigi turned to him with a defiant look, almost as if she enjoyed the confusion she had just sown on his face.

—Yes, defeat me. —he said with a mischievous smile, enjoying the moment.

Mitsuki was completely shocked, not knowing whether to take this girl's words seriously or not. But one thing was certain: the mission had been revealed at that moment, to face what seemed to be a Celestial? Will Mitsuki finally show how strong she is? And how strong could a Celestial be?
