( Yuuki's POV )

After our little excursion into Ashley's world, things got relatively quiet, I dealt with a few portals, and they all went to the world where those creatures with the white masks came from But that world was much more dangerous than the one we visited previously so the exploration of the place had to be postponed.

Just like that, time began to fly, and two years went by in an instant after all that time, the giant that I captured during my first encounter with the white-masked monsters was finally finishing its transformation inside one of Thanatos's coffins, and I was at the back of the temple sitting in front of the coffin, just because of the time the process had taken I knew things weren't going to be the same as with Rhym.

Before the coffin opened I could feel that whatever was inside was much stronger than Rhym, and she was no pushover.

When the coffin began to vibrate I knew that the process was coming to an end, seconds later the lid exploded open to reveal two black-haired women sleeping inside and one of them had animal ears on her head, They came out without clothes but next to them were a pair of katanas that had white ribbons tied to the handles.

When they woke up, they both knelt in front of me and I took a couple of sheets out of my storage to cover them.

Yuuki: Hello, I welcome you to our family, I guess you're going to need some names.

???: We have names, but we will accept any names you want to give us.

Yuuki: No, if you have a name, you should introduce yourselves.

???: Understood, my name is Takao.

???: And mine is Atago, happy to be working with you, master.

After the introductions, I told the two new sentinels that they would help the girls in the temple, and I left the place, I had an important appointment to attend.

After Erica finished her first mission, I took back the barrier bracelet I had given her, she was not happy about it, but she changed her mood pretty quickly when I told her that I could reactivate the magic within her body that had almost been lost for generations.

I just needed to inject some of my magic power into her, and to prove that I could do it, I reactivated the magic in all the members of the cross who were descendants of another world, the only problem was that learning magic at such a late age made the process slower.

Ten years is a good age to start, so Erica had to wait these two years, I was about to meet her in a park near the place where I first appeared in this world.

Erica: Hey Yuuki you know it's not polite to make a lady wait.

When I got there, I saw Erica, Liliana, and Claire already impatiently waiting for me.

Yuuki: wait? I got here ten minutes early, and you still have a couple of years to go before you can be a lady.

Erica: Humph, you know this is a very important day.

Yuuki: Yes, yes, I know. Why don't you show me what you have?

To use magic there is a certain level of physicality required at this age, and we were here to use the decent size playground as a beginner obstacle course, Erica was looking forward to this day so it was no surprise that she showed off some amazing gymnastic moves, when she finished her routine she stood in front of me with a smug smile, I didn't say anything and just patted her head to congratulate her.

After Erica, Liliana started the same routine, but in the middle of that, I got distracted when I heard a small commotion in the park, when I got closer to it, I saw a group of kids surrounding another one who was on his knees.

One of the kids picked up a piece of burnt fried chicken from the ground and pushed it into his mouth.

???: now this horrible food looks better give it a try.

I think I recognized those kids, they were a gang of bullies that went to our school, I had seen them acting up before, but they were just doing childish things, and I didn't give it much importance, but it seemed that they are now getting too comfortable abusing others.

Before they could see me, I grabbed a handful of dirt and threw it straight into the bully boss's mouth.

Yuuki: Hey, do you mind if I join the game?

The boss was on the ground spitting dirt, and he looked at me angrily, but that was not going to have any effect on me.

???: puhg get him!

The boss unleashed his minions on me, I wasn't going to go for real against some kids, so I put my hands in my pockets, and when they lunged at me, I sidestepped them and tripped them with one leg.

When all of them were on the ground, Erica approached me with an annoyed expression on her face.

Erica: Ganging up on someone weaker than you, how pathetic.

After receiving Erica's disapproval, the gang leader got even more upset and ran towards me, I grabbed another handful of dirt and threw my fist at him, but I stopped at the last moment, the boss fell back in fear and frustrated him and his goons made a shameful retreat.

After the bullies ran ñ, I walked over to the helpless boy and extended my hand to help him up, but he just stared at me for a few seconds.

Yuuki: You're okay there, buddy.

???: eh, yeah, I'm fine, thanks.

When the boy stood up, he looked to the side, and when I followed his gaze, I saw a girl our age hiding behind a park bench, they both had silver hair and blue eyes, so I assumed they were brother and sister.
