Reincarnated as the son of a demigod couple?

Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Lythari village is being attacked by monsters.

Jotaro and Aiko ran in the direction of the screams. As they got closer, the clamor grew louder, permeated with panic and despair. A bad feeling ran through Jotaro. As he crossed some bushes, his heart stopped for an instant.

Before him, the village where he had grown up, Lythari, was ablaze. Monstrous creatures ravaged everything in their path, destroying houses and attacking villagers. Cries for help echoed throughout the forest.

-What happened here! Why are there monsters in the village?! -Jotaro thought with his heart racing.

Suddenly, Aiko stopped in her tracks and pointed urgently in one direction.

-Jotaro, look!

Following the direction of her signal, Jotaro saw a girl huddled in front of a ruined house, terrified of a huge black spider hovering over her. Without hesitation, Jotaro ran to the girl while shouting to Aiko:

-Aiko! Find more people and Protect them! -Jotaro ordered her without stopping.

Just as the creature lunged at the girl, Jotaro stretched out his hands and conjured a spell.

-Lightning!

A bolt of lightning descended from the sky striking the spider, striking it down instantly. The girl, her eyes filled with tears and fear, stared at the scene in astonishment. Jotaro approached the girl and knelt down in front of her and spoke to her in a calm voice.

-Are you all right, little girl, he didn't hurt you?

The girl shook her head, unable to speak out of emotion. Jotaro sighed with relief.

-Thank goodness.

Suddenly, a female voice called out from a distance.

-Sora!

Jotaro turned and saw a woman with dirty clothes and scrapes on her legs running towards the girl.

-Mommy!

The little girl immediately got up and ran into the arms of her mother, who knelt down to hug her tightly. Jotaro watched the touching scene with a smile, but quickly remembered that there were still more villagers in danger.

-That's right, I must help the other people. I suppose there must be no more dangerous monsters attacking them in this place," said Jotaro, dropping to his knees.

-But to make sure they are all right," Jotaro whispered.

Jotaro snapped his fingers and an invisible barrier surrounded the mother and daughter.

He snapped his fingers and an invisible barrier surrounded the mother and daughter.

-This will protect them for an hour.

Before leaving, Jotaro listened as the woman approached him and thanked him with a sincere smile.

-Thank you for saving my daughter.

-You're welcome," Jotaro replied, smiling back.

Running through the burning village, Jotaro saw houses collapsing, bodies of monsters like goblins, black spiders and orcs scattered on the ground. His mind was filled with questions.

-How did this happen? If I remember correctly, there were former adventurers in the village. They should have been able to repel the threat of the monsters.

In the distance, an old man stumbled and fell to the ground as three goblins caught up to him with clubs in hand. Jotaro unsheathed his sword and lunged at them. His first strike went straight for the neck of one, but it blocked with his weapon. Quickly, Jotaro changed his attack and pierced the goblin's abdomen.

The other two goblins tried to hit him in the head, but Jotaro withdrew his sword and dodged, causing the goblins to hit each other. Taking advantage of the confusion, he put away his sword and ran to the old man, holding out his hand.

-Are you all right?

The old man took his hand and struggled to his feet.

-Yes, I'm fine.

It was then that Jotaro recognized him.

-Mr. Nakamura!

The old man looked at him curiously.

-Have we met before?

-Eh, no...well...this...me.

Jotaro stammered, but before he could answer, a voice called out to him. Aiko was approaching with four people: an adult man, a woman, a child and an old woman.

Jotaro recognized them instantly.

-Why is Aiko with Mr. Nakamura's whole family?! -Jotaro thought in surprise.

Jotaro tried to hide his surprise and asked Aiko:

-Aiko, are you okay? And why did you bring these people?

-Well, I rescued them from some goblins and orcs that were about to attack them and when I was about to leave, after leaving them in a safe place, they asked me if I could help them look for a grandfather," answered Aiko.

-I understand.

After saying that, Aiko noticed a person behind Jotaro.

-Hey Jotaro, who is the person behind you?

-Oh, you mean him," replied Jotaro moving out of the way, showing that there was an old man behind him.

Aiko seeing the old man, asks:

-Hey Jotaro, isn't this the grandfather they are looking for?

-I don't know, it would be better to ask them, don't you think?

-Yes, you're right," answered Aiko.

Aiko turned to the family and asked them.

-Is he the one you were looking for?

When the family saw the old man, they ran to embrace him with tears in their eyes, and asked him if he was well.

-It's good that grandfather was able to be reunited with his family, isn't it? -said Aiko.

-Yes," answered Jotaro.

-By the way, Jotaro, how did you meet grandfather?

-Well... after I saved the girl from the black spider, I was going around the village to see if I could find more people, and while going around the village I found Mr. Nak... I mean grandfather being chased, by three goblins.

Suddenly Jotaro and Aiko are interrupted by Mr. Nakamura's wife.

-Excuse me young men.

- Eh?

-Thank you very much for saving my husband! -said the old woman excitedly.

Jotaro smiled humbly.

-You too, young lady, thank you very much for saving us from those horrible goblins and orcs.

-You're welcome," replied Aiko.

Suddenly it started to rain from the sky, making the fire that was burning the houses go out.

-It seems to be raining," said the old woman.

-Yes, but it's good that it's raining like this, the fire in the houses will stop," answered Jotaro.

-By the way, do you know where the other people are? -asked Aiko.

-Honestly we don't know, when the monsters attacked our village all the people were running desperately, causing us to get separated from my husband, and because we were looking for him we got separated from the rest of the people," answered the old woman.

-I understand... -said Aiko.

Then, the old woman looked carefully at Jotaro and frowned.

-Excuse me, young man, why are you wearing those clothes?

Jotaro became nervous when he heard that, and he became more nervous when he saw that Aiko was watching him from head to toe.

-What's wrong with your clothes?

-Eh?, can't you see? Those clothes, only demigods dress like that," said the old woman.

Jotaro's heart skipped a beat.

-Damn, I should have changed my clothes!

Aiko looked at him suspiciously.

-Jotaro, why are you so nervous?

-I-I'm not!

- Really?

-Y-yes.

Suddenly, the rain stopped and a loud voice echoed in the distance.

-Hey, you guys!

Everyone turned in the direction of the shout.
