Reborn in the Shinobi World with an Arceus Inside

Chapter 72: Chapter 72: Guests

It was late at night by the time Kaito returned to the sanctuary.

After checking in on Kiyi, who was on guard duty, Kaito quietly returned to the third floor of the tower. He took out the bottle of poison water and looked at it for a moment. After some hesitation, he ultimately decided against testing it alone.

I'd better wait until Tsunade is here before I try this. Kaito wasn't in a rush to learn Poison-type skills anyway. He planned to first finish mastering all the Ice-type skills and see what happened after that.

Alright, time to review the battle.

His fight with Hanzo hadn't been long, but it had been extremely dangerous. Hanzo's swordsmanship was fast and ruthless, and Kaito had to use every trick up his sleeve to barely parry his attacks. And that was a Hanzo who had already been fighting the Sannin for a long time, with less than half of his strength remaining. The fact that he could still pressure Kaito for a significant amount of time was proof that he was truly at the Kage level.

Though, at the very end, Kaito admitted to himself that he had been feigning exhaustion. In reality, he still had some strength left in reserve.

This time, Kaito had used his Aura during the battle, which had greatly enhanced his perception and predictive abilities. He finally understood why Aura Sphere was a move that never missed; an Aura user could roughly predict an opponent's dodge, allowing for a precise hit. If not for Hanzo's exceptional Body Flicker Technique, he probably would have had a hard time dodging that powerful cross-slash.

The main issue currently limiting Kaito's strength was his insufficient supply of golden energy. It was difficult to sustain his arsenal of over a hundred skills. But there was no quick fix for that. He could only accumulate it day by day. Fortunately, he had plenty of time.

Beyond that, there was the lack of a summoning animal.

Seeing that the Sannin and Hanzo all had such massive summons that could assist in attacks, take hits for them, and, most importantly, significantly up their cool factor, Kaito was naturally envious.

Sigh, I wonder if I'll be able to create some Pokémon later on. I'm not asking for a legendary or anything. A Tyranitar or a Dragonite would be pretty nice. A Gardevoir to keep the bed warm wouldn't be bad either.

After a couple of sighs, Kaito closed his eyes and immediately entered the seven-colored space. He skillfully made his way to the now-dim ice plate and placed his hand upon it.

A few days later, having wrapped up their business, the three Sannin appeared before the sanctuary's tower.

"Finished with everything?" Kaito asked. "Have you and the Rain Village signed a ceasefire agreement?"

"Mmm," Tsunade nodded. "The two sides have just made contact. The negotiations will still take a long time."

Jiraiya added, "It's a temporary ceasefire for now. We all have a few days off. We'll hang out here with you for a day, then head back to Konoha to rest."

"We might have to go to the front lines in the Land of Wind after that. I hear the situation there isn't looking good," Orochimaru said.

"Alright, come on in." Kaito invited the Sannin into the tower and handed them some civilian clothes he had prepared beforehand. "To avoid any unnecessary panic, it's best if you change into these first. Don't worry, they're new."

"Fine. When in Rome," Jiraiya said, taking the clothes and heading to the second floor with Orochimaru to change.

Tsunade, on the other hand, was led to the third floor by Shiori.

When Tsunade took off her thick ninja uniform, a pair of large bunnies seemed ready to spring forth, causing Shiori to cover her mouth in shock.

"They're huge! Isn't it hard to keep your balance?"

"It's alright. My shoulders just get a little sore," Tsunade said, rubbing her shoulders with a helpless expression. "But there's nothing I can do about it. I was born this way. I don't know why they grew so big. Your size is just about right, perfect."

"Really?" Shiori clutched her own small buns, her voice filled with uncertainty.

"Of course it's true!"

True, my foot! Kaito, who had accidentally overheard their conversation, couldn't help but scoff internally. As a master medical-nin, he refused to believe that Tsunade couldn't do anything about two lumps of fat. There was only one truth: Tsunade was also very satisfied with her own figure.

Hmph, a woman's words are a pack of lies! Kaito shook his head and patted Konan's head. "Konan, in the future, you can't be like those women who say one thing and mean another."

It was a day off, so neither Kaito nor Konan had to go to school.

"Brother Kaito, are you talking about Mom?"

"Your sister Shiori is fine. It would be great if you learned to be more like your mom."

"Oh." Konan nodded thoughtfully.

Jiraiya and Orochimaru quickly changed into their plain clothes and came out. Tsunade, however, took much longer, only coming downstairs after more than ten minutes.

Seeing Tsunade in her new outfit, Jiraiya nearly had a nosebleed. She was wearing a form-fitting purple dress that cinched at the waist, her chest billowing out. As she walked, her fair thighs were revealed, fully showcasing her stunning figure. Jiraiya couldn't take his eyes off her, and he shot Kaito a thumbs-up. "Nice! Well done!"

"Sorry, this dress is a little small, so it took me a bit longer. But the style is quite nice," Tsunade said, tugging at her collar, feeling a little breathless.

"Not small, not small at all! It's plenty big enough!" Jiraiya said with a lecherous grin.

"?" Tsunade rolled her eyes, ignoring the idiot Jiraiya, and turned to Kaito. "So, what's the plan? Are you going to show us around?"

"I still have to prepare dinner for you all, so I'll have Shiori show you around," Kaito said, pointing to Shiori, who was standing nearby.

"Heh, that's the perfect arrangement!" Jiraiya said hurriedly. "Don't worry about us, just focus on making your meal. If we're not satisfied, you'll have to treat us a few more times!"

"Heh, of course." Kaito couldn't be bothered to expose Jiraiya's little scheme and simply waved them off.

Out on the street, Jiraiya and Orochimaru walked dejectedly in front, listening to the gentle and beautiful conversation coming from behind them. Jiraiya couldn't help but sigh. He had thought he'd be able to have a woman on each arm, or at the very least, admire their graceful curves from behind. But reality had dealt him a harsh blow. The feeling was unbearable.

"...Are there no casinos here?" Tsunade had been observing for a long time but hadn't seen any trace of a gambling hall. She hadn't played a single game since the war started, and her hands were itching.

"Hehe, you must be joking. How could there possibly be something like that here?"

"What do you mean, 'something like that'? One good game can keep you energized for a whole year, you know."

"Er, I'm sorry, but Lord Kaito has said that he and vice—gambling included—are mortal enemies."

"Tch! He's still just a kid, after all," Tsunade said, dissatisfied.

"Actually, Lord Kaito isn't that young..." Shiori suddenly said, her face turning red.

"???"

After a full tour, they headed back. Both Jiraiya and Tsunade looked listless, their spirits completely gone, until a rich aroma hit their noses, and they finally perked up.

"That smells amazing!"

Following the scent to the dining hall, they found the table already laden with fragrant, steaming dishes.

"Welcome to my personally cooked freshwater feast," Kaito explained with a smile. "Braised fish, steamed fish, fish with pickled vegetables, fish head and tofu soup, and a spicy crab and shrimp hot pot. A variety of flavors for you to choose from."

"Not bad, not bad. Just the presentation alone is worth eighty points from me."

"The taste is what's key."

"Well then, we won't be shy!"
