Chapter 3: Dragon Ball ch2: Accidental marking Her Meeting Master roshi
After the whole fiasco, Bulma decided she would only use the bathroom inside her capsule house from now on.
Goku and Bulma continued their journey toward the next Dragon Ball, but as the sun began to set, they decided to rest for the night. Bulma threw out her capsule, activating a portable house that expanded before them.
Goku was still in awe at the advanced technologies of Earth. If Earth's tech was considered primitive by universal standards, he couldn't help but wonder how low his old world's technology.
Bulma: "Goku, tonight you're sleeping beside me. Don't even think about avoiding it."
Bulma's stern glare left no room for argument, and Goku could only nod obediently.
Later that evening, Goku prepared dinner, using the vegetables he had stored in capsules. He whipped up a big meal for himself and an appropriately portioned one for Bulma, who was happy to dig in. After dinner, they decided to unwind by watching movies together.
Bulma ended up using Goku as her personal plushie, snuggling close to him while enjoying the entertainment. Despite his embarrassment, Goku couldn't bring himself to complain.
Afterward, Bulma took his hand and led him to her bed, pulling him in with surprising confidence. She hugged him tightly, her blissful expression showing how content she felt.
For Goku, this was a completely foreign experience. His mind raced as he lay there, flustered by their closeness.
Goku (internal monologue):
"Control yourself, control yourself! It's just hormones from not being around girls for decades. But—she's so soft. And look at her peaceful face… her loose hair, those chubby cheeks… and—STOP! I can't think like this. I need to focus, not take advantage of her! No, I won't. Bulma deserves respect. Redirect your thoughts, Goku!"
While he wrestled with his emotions, Bulma, deep in sleep, began talking in her dreams. Her murmured words caught Goku's attention and made him pause.
Bulma (mumbling):
"Hehe, Goku, thank you for being my first real friend who thinks I'm not a weirdo anymore. Goku, you're not only cute and chubby, but you've got an amazing body… hmm, I wish you were taller. Then I'd make you my boyfriend and do fun stuff. Hehe…"
Goku's face turned beet red, a mix of shock, pride, and flustered nervousness flooding him.
Goku (internal monologue):
"Forget it. Since I reincarnated in this world, nothing's followed the 'canon' anyway. Why should I let Bulma go to the prince of six Saiyans? If she feels this way, I'll make sure to protect her, no matter what happens. Sorry, Trunks and Bra, but if I have kids with Bulma, I'll name them after you."
Overwhelmed by instinct, Goku's Saiyan side took over. He unconsciously wrapped his tail protectively around Bulma's waist and began emitting a steady stream of ki and aura. His power enveloped her, unknowingly performing a ritual that marked Bulma as his mate—a primal Saiyan ( due to his ancient saiyan bloodline)act that would declare her untouchable to others. Without realizing it, Goku shared a portion of his immense power with her, sealing the bond. Feeling a sense of peace and satisfaction, he drifted off to sleep.
The Next Morning:
The sunlight streaming through the windows woke Goku first. He stretched, feeling something warm and soft under his tail, only to realize it was wrapped securely around Bulma's waist.
Bulma, still fast asleep, had her arms tightly around him, her face nestled against his chest. Their bodies were intertwined, with Bulma holding onto him like a teddy bear.
Goku (internal monologue):
"What have I done? The last thing I remember was Bulma's cute mumbling… and then blank. Please tell me I didn't do anything stupid."
Careful not to wake her, Goku slipped out of her hold, untangling his tail, and hurried to the nearby river to clear his mind and wash up. After calming himself with some warm-up exercises, he started preparing breakfast, then practiced levitating objects to focus on his ki control.
Meanwhile, Bulma stirred awake, stretching in bed. She felt unusually refreshed, as if something inside her had changed.
Bulma: "Wow, I slept so well. It's been a while since I've felt this good. Hmm… wait, where's Goku? He didn't even bother waking me up? The nerve!"
Annoyed, she threw off the covers and went to get up. But as she planted her hand on the bedframe to steady herself, the frame cracked and crumbled to dust under her grip.
Bulma (panicked): "What the—!? How did that happen? Did I break it?!"
Her heart raced, and she stared at her hands in shock, unsure of where this sudden strength had come from.
Bluma: " I am not this strong what's going on Goku Goku were are you come "
She called Goku in distress after scared due to her own increase in strength.
Scene change:-
Goku was training in an attempt to clear his mind and shake off the lingering guilt and confusion over what might have happened the previous night.
Goku (internal monologue):"What did I do? I must've done something to Bulma. Damn it! Being a virgin in my past life and having zero experience with girls is making me mess up big time. Ugh, I hope I didn't do anything inappropriate with her. She's just a teenager…"
Immersed in his conflicted thoughts, Goku accidentally lifted an old turtle into the air using his telekinesis.
Turtle:"Whoa! I'm flying! Wait—flying?! I finally learned to fly! Oh, I've got to get back to Kame House and tell old Master Roshi about this amazing progress!"
The turtle's voice snapped Goku out of his daze, and he finally noticed what he had done.
Goku:"Huh? Oh, it's a turtle… an old turtle!"
Startled by the boy's voice, the turtle turned its head and saw Goku. At first, it became nervous, sensing the boy's immense power.
Turtle (internal monologue):"This boy... his power is overwhelming! Even though it's suppressed, it feels like standing in front of a hundred Master Roshis! Who is this kid?!"
However, sensing no malice or killing intent, the turtle relaxed slightly.
Turtle:"Boy! Who are you, and what are you doing to me?"
Goku (scratching his head):"Oh, sorry about that! I was distracted while training, and I accidentally lifted you with my telekinesis. Don't worry, I'll put you down!"
Goku gently lowered the turtle to the ground and smiled warmly, trying to ease its fear.
Goku:"There you go. See? No harm done. Let me introduce myself! I'm Son Goku."
Turtle (perking up):"Son Goku? Are you, by any chance, related to a man named Son Gohan?"
Hearing the familiar name, Goku's smile faded into a somber expression.
Goku:"Yeah… he was my grandpa."
Goku's voice softened as he thought about the kind man who had raised him and taught him to be who he was today.
Before the turtle could respond, a loud scream echoed from the direction of Bulma's capsule house, immediately grabbing Goku's attention.
Goku:"That's Bulma! Something's wrong!"
Acting instantly, Goku picked up the turtle, lifting it above his head, and flew towards the house at top speed. When they arrived, Goku burst inside and found Bulma in her sleeping clothes, sitting on a shattered bedframe, looking absolutely terrified.
Goku:"Bulma! Are you okay? I heard you scream. What happened? Are there intruders?"
He quickly scanned the area, but his senses picked up something unusual. His eyes widened when he realized the massive energy radiating from Bulma—it was entirely different from yesterday. She was unconsciously emitting a powerful ki signature.
Out of habit, Goku activated his status-checking ability, and the results shocked him:

Goku blinked in disbelief as he noticed the new title: "Saiyan's Mate." Swallowing hard, he clicked on the title, revealing the description.
Saiyan's Mate (Title Description):
"Marked as Saiyan Son Goku's mate through a ritual involving the transfer of ki and aura. This bond grants Bulma:
A significant fraction of Goku's strength, increasing proportionally as his power grows.
Protection through ki resonance that repels those who would harm her or compete for her.
A telepathic link to Son Goku."
Goku's heart sank.
Goku (internal monologue):"I… I did this last night. What do I even say? She's going to freak out…"
Bulma's shaky voice pulled him from his thoughts.
Bulma:"G-Goku… What is going on? Why did I break the bed? What's happening to me?!"
Tears threatened to spill from her eyes as panic set in. Goku stepped closer, placing a reassuring hand on hers.
Goku:"Bulma, calm down. I know this feels scary, but I promise I'll explain everything."
As he spoke, he used his ki to carve a temporary seal, blocking the uncontrolled flow of power surging through her body. The moment the seal was in place, her energy settled.
Goku:"Here, try holding this."
He handed her a teacup from the kitchen. Bulma hesitated but took it gingerly. Unlike before, the cup stayed intact in her grasp.
Bulma:"I… I didn't crush it! Oh, Goku, thank you! But… what's happening to me? Why was I suddenly so strong before you touched me?"
Goku scratched the back of his head, his face turning red.
Goku:"Uh, well… about that… let's just say it's, um, something that Saiyans do. I think I… marked you. Accidentally!"
Bulma (confused and still frightened):
"Marked me? What are you even talking about?!"
Goku (blushing, trying to explain):"It's like… Saiyan instinct stuff. Last night, I must've shared some of my ki with you while I was asleep. I—I didn't mean to, but now you've got some of my power."
Bulma's eyes widened, her expression a mix of surprise, anger, and disbelief.
Bulma:"So you're telling me I'm a… Saiyan mate now?!"
Goku held his hands up defensively, trying to calm her down.
Goku:"I'm so sorry, Bulma! I swear, it wasn't on purpose! But look, I can teach you how to control this new strength, okay? You'll feel like yourself again in no time."
Bulma frowned, crossing her arms, though the hint of a blush betrayed her emotions.
Bulma:"You'd better make this up to me, Goku. If I'm stuck with this… mate thing, you're going to help me get used to it. Got it?"
Goku (relieved):"Y-Yeah! Of course, Bulma! I'll do whatever I can to help!"
Bulma huffed but nodded, her panic beginning to subside. Though she didn't fully understand what had happened, one thing was clear: her life had just changed forever.
Bulma:"So… being a mate is like being a husband and wife, right? Does that mean you're my husband now?"
Bulma tried to keep her composure, but the redness on her face betrayed her feelings. Despite knowing Goku for only three days, the thought of being connected to him as a "mate" left her flustered. In her mind, she was already imagining a taller, more mature Goku as her husband. Scenes of a romantic life, kids, and shared adventures danced in her thoughts.
Goku:"Well… yeah, practically. But, um, I'm also new to all this. How about we take things slow? Let's spend some time getting to know each other better. I don't want you to feel pressured into this."
Goku scratched the back of his head nervously, which Bulma found oddly endearing. His sincerity warmed her heart, and she felt grateful that he wanted to move at her pace.
Bulma:"Honestly… I've had a little experience with dating, but it's never gone well. The longest date I had was only an hour. After that, the guys always found some excuse to leave me."
A shadow of sadness crossed her face. Goku noticed immediately and placed his hand gently over hers, giving her one of his bright, reassuring smiles.
Goku:"Don't feel bad about those guys. They're idiots if they can't appreciate an amazing girl like you."
Bulma's cheeks flushed crimson, and for a moment, she forgot her sadness. However, she quickly composed herself and smirked playfully to lighten the mood.
Bulma:"Alright, Mr. Compliment. But seriously, why didn't you wake me up earlier this morning?"
Her tone took on a mock-seriousness that made Goku break into a nervous laugh.
Goku:"Don't scare me like that! I was training my telekinesis, and I, uh, met a turtle. Oh no—the turtle!"
Realizing he'd forgotten about the turtle, Goku rushed into the living room, where he found the old turtle casually watching television as if nothing had happened.
Turtle:"Oh, you're back! Done chatting with the girl? Can you get me some salt water and seaweed? I'm starving!"
Goku nodded, but before he could act, Bulma joined them and froze at the sight of a turtle comfortably watching her TV.
Bulma:"Okay… Goku, who is this? And why is there a turtle in my house?"
Goku explained how he had accidentally lifted the turtle with his telekinesis during training, heard Bulma's scream, and rushed back, bringing the turtle with him.
Bulma (crossing her arms):"Let me get this straight. You accidentally lifted this turtle, who somehow knows your grandpa, and now you've brought him here to figure out what's going on?"
Goku:"Uh, yeah, pretty much."
Bulma chuckled and nodded.
Bulma:"Alright, I'll get him some salt water and seaweed. Then we can ask him about your grandpa."
She returned with a bucket of salt water and seaweed, which the turtle eagerly consumed. After finishing his meal, the turtle sighed contentedly and thanked Bulma.
Bulma:"Now that you're full, can you tell us how you know Goku's grandpa? And, for that matter, how you ended up this far from the ocean?"
Using a map, Bulma confirmed the nearest ocean was at least 120 kilometers away.
Turtle:"Ah, well… Son Gohan and the Ox King were both disciples of Master Roshi back in their younger days. Gohan was incredibly talented in martial arts—always stronger than Ox King. Eventually, the Ox King gave up on improving and left, but Gohan stayed and continued training with Master Roshi. He became a true master of the art. The last I heard from Gohan was that he found a child and decided to raise him. After that, he stopped contacting Master Roshi. That's about all I know."
Hearing the turtle speak so fondly of his grandfather brought a nostalgic smile to Goku's face.
Bulma:"That's so cool to hear about your grandpa! But what about you? How did you end up 120 kilometers from the ocean?"
Turtle:"Well, I wandered too far while collecting mushrooms and ended up getting lost. It's been almost a year now, and I've been trying to find my way back to the ocean ever since."
Bulma (grinning):"Alright, Goku. Let's help him get back to the ocean. Plus, we can enjoy the beach while we're there! I have about a month left before I need to get serious about my studies, so I want to make the most of this adventure."
Goku (smiling):"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Let's get him home."
After eating breakfast together, Bulma changed into casual clothes and prepared her bike. Goku, meanwhile, floated the turtle with his telekinesis and began to fly alongside her.
Bulma:"You'll teach me how to do this flying thing, right? Once we're at the ocean and have some free time, you're helping me figure out how to use this power!"
Goku (laughing):"Sure thing, Bulma!"
As they traveled, they encountered a bandit bear blocking their path. However, the bear immediately fled upon sensing Goku's overwhelming power due to its animal instincts. Laughing at the absurdity, the two continued on their way.
Several hours later, they finally reached the ocean. The turtle expressed his deep gratitude for their help.
Turtle:"Thank you both! I won't forget this kindness. I'll make sure to repay the favor just wait for some time will you."
After the turtle left, Bulma and Goku decided to spend some time enjoying the beach. They built sandcastles, chased each other along the shoreline, and splashed around in the shallow water.
Bulma:"I'm having so much fun, Goku. I've never experienced something like this before. Thank you… for everything."
Her voice carried a genuine warmth that made Goku grin widely.
Goku:"No problem, Bulma. I'm glad you're enjoying it!"
As the two watched the sea, they noticed a figure riding on the back of the turtle, approaching them.
Master Roshi:"Hello!"
Turtle:"Thanks for waiting!"
Bulma:"Is that the master who trained Goku's grandpa?"
Bulma asked the turtle, who nodded in confirmation.
Master Roshi:"Good afternoon! I'm Kame Sennin. Turtle told me that Gohan's grandson and a young lady saved him and brought him back to the ocean."
Roshi spoke while carefully observing the duo. He could sense Goku's immense power, calm and controlled like a river, while the girl's power felt sealed and unstable.
Goku:"Good afternoon, Master Roshi! My grandpa told me a lot about you. I was planning to come and learn the Turtle Style from you someday."
Roshi:"But kid, you're already much stronger than me. Why do you want to learn the Kame style?"
The old master was genuinely curious about Goku's intentions.
Goku:"That's simple. I promised my grandpa that I'd become the strongest and use my power to protect the people I care about."
Goku's earnest response left Roshi satisfied and impressed.
Bulma:"Goku, look! The Dragon Radar shows the next Dragon Ball is near us!"
Bulma pointed excitedly at the radar's blinking signal. Curious, Roshi asked what they were talking about. Goku explained their quest to collect the Dragon Balls, and Bulma showed him the ones they had collected so far.
Roshi's eyes lit up when he saw the balls. He reached for the three-star Dragon Ball tied to a necklace around his neck.
Roshi:"Are you looking for this? I found it a hundred years ago at the bottom of the sea. Since you helped Turtle, I'll give it to you. Here, take it, girl."
Roshi handed Bulma the Dragon Ball, making her smile brightly with excitement.
Roshi:"And as a reward for you, Goku, I'll summon the Immortal Phoenix!"
Master Roshi raised his hands dramatically and called for the mythical bird, but nothing happened. Turtle interjected, his tone apologetic:
Turtle:"Master… the phoenix died of food poisoning a while ago, remember?"
Both Goku and Bulma stared at Roshi with blank expressions, completely unamused by the antic.
Undeterred, Roshi then summoned Flying Nimbus, a golden cloud that quickly appeared before them.
Roshi:"Well, how about this instead? Try standing on it, Goku. Only people with pure hearts can ride it!"
To Roshi's delight, Goku effortlessly climbed onto the Nimbus. Bulma, curious, decided to give it a try as well. To everyone's surprise, she also managed to sit on the cloud.
Roshi:"Well, I'll be! You're truly worthy of riding the Nimbus. It's rare to meet anyone with a heart so pure!"
Goku was equally shocked but grinned proudly. He thought to himself that perhaps Bulma's ability to ride Nimbus stemmed from her free-spirited nature and growing trust in him. Knowing that Bulma, his girlfriend, could ride Nimbus made him even happier.
Roshi:"Girl, you have unstable ki and poor control. I can teach you how to manage it—if you do something for me."
The old master grinned mischievously, his perverted intentions written all over his face.
Bulma (narrowing her eyes):"Yeah, no thanks, old man. Goku-kun will teach me, and I'm not falling for your tricks."
She stuck her tongue out mockingly, further irritating Roshi.
Roshi (grumbling):"Darn it! Seems like you've already won the girl's heart, Goku. You're definitely worthy of being my disciple."
With a good-natured smile, Roshi stroked his beard and continued:
Roshi:"Well, kid, if you want to train with me, come to Kame Island anytime. Until then, take care! Bye-bye!"
Roshi waved them off as he and Turtle departed.
Afterward, Goku started teaching Bulma how to control her ki. Though initially challenging, Bulma's incredibly high IQ helped her grasp the basics of ki control within hours. Her rapid progress amazed and delighted Goku.
Once the training was done, the two went for a bath to wash off the sweat from their session. Later, Goku prepared a meal for them, which they enjoyed together. That night, just like the day before, Bulma pulled Goku into her bed, insisting they cuddle.
This time, there was no awkwardness—only smiles as the two drifted off to sleep, wrapped in each other's arms.
