[3rd POV!]

"You guys having fun without me?" Adam spoke as he looked at the people around with a bright smile. He looked at each and everyone around him as he circled around before he continued,

"Hey. Why are you all so quiet? Did I come at the wrong time or something?"

He then made an apologetic expression while the people observed him with a narrowed look.

One of the infernals, a girl that looked like a 13-year-old, spoke up, " hey what-"

"Trevi, STOP!" That old man, Delios, shouted as he made Trevi stop in her tracks. Trevi looked at Delios with a confused expression before she asked," what happened Delios?"

"[Dragon Tongue: Magical Presence Reflection!]" Delios spoke in a weird language, before a certain light enveloped the whole area, showing the strings of mana that were scattered all around the area.

Each of those mana threads originated from Adam, as he smiled mischievously, like a child who just got caught. Those threads covered the entire area, almost binding all the infernals around him, trapping their movements completely.

"These are made up of Ethereal Energy mixed with different proportions of other mana types. For me, it is made up of Black Dragon's mana, that I am the weakest against. For Neira, it is of Marine Clay's mana, that would be most lethal to him," Delios spoke as he narrowed his eyes at Adam.

"What do you mean?" One of the infernals that looked like a 10 meter giant spoke out. Though he looked like a giant, he was actually from a species of Tree People, that became extinct a long time ago. In a way, he was a living legend of a race that once existed.

"It means he knows our weakness. Even yours… I don't know who this guy is… but… do not underestimate him," Delios spoke as he then began chanting something again. His black staff glowed brightly before he and the others vanished from there before appearing right in front of Adam.

"DIE!" One of them shouted, while the others attacked without speaking a word… though before the weapon could reach him, everyone just halted in their steps. Not that they had stopped of their own volition, but threads bound around them, rendering them completely immobile.

Adam then looked at Delios first and then smiled before speaking," let's start with you this time."

He clicked his fingers as all the others got sliced into pieces, while he smiled at Delios, speaking,

"Delios Dere Iliea minara. I will give you 20 seconds. Answer all my questions properly and I might even let you live."

"Neira, right? I heard you were searching for someone?"(Adam)

"Yeah. My daughter's murderer."

"How come a silver elf like you got trapped with Laplace? What promises did he make to you?"(Adam)

"In exchange for my son's life, I had to betray my clan."

"Man! Even I had been through that. But come on, you can have done better than that? Don't you think so?"(Adam)

"It wasn't that bad."

"So. Mr Tree? How do you feel as the last surviving member of your species?"(Adam)

Adam trapped them all once again, though this time, rather than killing them, he began talking to one of them. He started from Delios, before moving to the others. Each of them was confused about what was going on, but since this guy was somehow making sense, they began listening to him.

Helios, Castellina, and Hecate observed Adam talking with them casually, as they all let their guards down. There was a strange expression on their faces as they wondered if they should attack or not, but as they heard the topic of conversation, they couldn't help but listen more to it.

It was about the personal life of every infernals, as Adam began speaking about the things that they could have done better. It was as if they were looking at a teacher talking to a bunch of students. Just that the students here… were the deadly infernals?

The topic didn't continue for long as Adam then spoke some strange words in a language that the gods couldn't understand. As he spoke to them one by one, in languages that only the infernals knew, each of the infernals had their eyes widened one by one before they all just stood there dazed.

And by the time he reached the last one, the Half-Dragon, Delios, he moved closer to him and hugged him before speaking to him in Draconic Language. Delios, the cruelest among the bunch, started crying as he looked at Adam.

The weird yet strange atmosphere was… hard to comprehend and even harder to explain.

Adam then sighed as he pondered about something before speaking," seems like I would need to change the entire plan once again. Though I should meet Equi first."

And then he vanished from there, leaving everyone standing there lost in their own thoughts. Even the higher gods, Hecate and the others, could only observe the infernals in front of them.

"I don't care what happened but… I am not going to hold back," Helios spoke out as he was about to jump at Neira. Though before he could do that…

"Do whatever you want. I have already got what I wanted. There is no purpose for my life anymore," Neira spoke as if he didn't have a single motivation to fight Helios. In fact, it looked like he now wanted to die with no care about anything.

Helios paused with a shocked expression on his face. All he could ask is what the heck happened? Just what did Adam tell him, for him to react in such an extreme manner? What exactly is going on here?

It wasn't just him, but even the other gods and the angel who were watching the exchange all had the same thought in their minds.

Just what had Adam done?
