Seeing Luis die, Leon was saddened for a moment, while Ashley clung to Javier's arm, looking frightened.

The castle trembled even more violently at that moment.

"Let's get out of here, fast," said Javier, taking everyone with him. They exited through the back door of the castle.

Once they were outside, the entire structure began to sink. With a loud crash, the castle collapsed completely into the ground. Even the castle had to pay the price for Salazar's stupidity.

They followed the road leading to the coast.

"We're trapped. All the boats are gone." There was a pier nearby, but unfortunately, no ships remained. It looked like Sadler had taken them all.

Just when all hope seemed lost, a speedboat approached the pier and stopped in front of them. "I thought you might need a ride," said Ada with a smirk, sitting in the driver's seat.

Javier smiled and motioned for everyone to get on the boat. He sat at the front with Ada. Ashley, clearly uncomfortable with the situation, walked over, sat on Javier's lap, and gave Ada a haughty look.

Ada glanced at the cute little girl but said nothing. Instead, she steered the boat toward the distant island. Ashley grew bored when she saw that Ada wasn't angered, so she returned to sit at the back of the boat.

"I didn't expect you to be so popular with women. Even the president's daughter likes you," Ada teased as she drove.

"Ada, I've made it clear many times—I love you," said Javier.

Ada stared ahead silently. She knew Javier was sincere, but as a spy, she wasn't allowed to fall in love. In her pursuit of excellence, she had given up the chance to ever become a mother.

She could only maintain this kind of distant relationship with Javier. At the very least, when her time came, she would have good memories of them. Thinking that, Ada smiled softly and glanced at Javier.

The speedboat quickly reached the island's coast.

"This is where Sadler is studying the Plaga. You must be very careful." With those words, Ada left.

(She's the same as always...) Javier thought.

After watching Ada leave, Javier and the others prepared to head into the island.

If they wanted to escape, they had no choice but to reach the base on the island, where communication equipment could reach the outside world. Their own communicators had already been destroyed by Sadler.

The parasites inside Leon and Ashley's bodies also needed to be eliminated using the island's equipment. Otherwise, they would become like the villagers—mindless cattle under Sadler's control.

The speedboat had brought them to a cave with a dilapidated dock. After landing and taking a brief rest, they began to move deeper into the island.

After exiting the cave, they followed a road until they saw a factory ahead. It was Sadler's experimental base.

As they approached the entrance, Javier observed many soldiers guarding the door. They were armed.

There was no telling how many of Sadler's men were stationed throughout the facility, so the only option was to fight their way through. Javier grabbed a few grenades and hurled them at the gate.

With several explosions, the gate was blown apart, and the guards were thrown away by the blasts.

"Attack!" Javier shouted, leading everyone into the facility.

At that moment, alarms rang throughout the factory, and more infected enemies appeared. They fought fiercely, clearing the path until they reached the central area of the base.

There, they accessed the control room and used the communication system to contact the local government, requesting military support.

Now, all that remained was to remove the parasites from Leon and Ashley. The lab was underground. They took the elevator and descended. Sadler was watching them through the security cameras.

"I won't let you destroy what I've worked so hard to build. It's time to show your loyalty, Mr. Krauser," Sadler said to Krauser behind him.

Krauser nodded, drew his dagger, and left.

"Did you really think I would trust you, Krauser?" Sadler muttered, watching him leave.

The group continued advancing through the laboratory, fighting more infected until they reached Luis's old room. A laser security field blocked the entrance.

Just as Javier was about to cross, all the lasers were suddenly deactivated. Then, Krauser stepped through the door.

"Boss, I'm back." Javier nodded, and everyone entered the room to begin treating Leon and Ashley.

While the treatment was underway, Krauser reported the intel he had gathered, which included a large amount of data on the Plaga experiments. However, the virus sample was still in Sadler's possession—Krauser hadn't been able to retrieve it.

Worse, Sadler had injected Krauser with a sample of the Plaga. Javier examined him carefully and then locked him in a storage chamber.

Leon and Ashley's treatment was completed quickly. Although they experienced some chest pain, they recovered fast. Now all they could do was wait for the rescue team and prepare to face Sadler.

Shortly after, reinforcements arrived—several helicopters descended upon the island. Machine guns and missiles rained down, devastating the infected forces.

The group exited the underground lab and returned to the surface, where they found Sadler waiting. Ada was suspended above his head.

"Mr. Lee, I admire the strength of you and your allies—especially your success in planting a spy at my side." As he said that, Sadler looked at Krauser.

"Put her down. I'll make your death less painful," Javier warned.

Sadler chuckled. "It seems you care deeply about this woman." With that, he pressed a button, and Ada fell.

Javier rushed forward, caught her midair, and pulled her safely into his arms. Ada smiled flirtatiously at him, then gently stepped away.

Watching Javier's actions, Sadler spoke. "It seems Mr. Lee is not an ordinary man. Why don't you and I work together? With the Plaga, we could control the entire world."

Javier scoffed. "Do you really think I'd ever cooperate with a monster like you?"

Sadler's expression darkened at his words.
