You can completely skil these 3 little mini chapters but i put them all here so yall can get a further understanding of what's happening.

The story is about a group of teenagers trying to restore the world to what it once was, they're aware that they'll probably never complete this goal, not in their lifetime atleast but they'll try their best, they'll battle plenty of evil across the war, discover plenty of hidden secrets and grow along the journey, or atleast that's what they think.

The current events take place of what used to be USA, California, it takes place in 2011, 20 years after World war 3 took place, in this universe, The USSR never fell and tensions grew quicker and bigger, and when the 2 superhouses of the world fought, every country was made to pick a side, it quickly became a nuclear war, and every nuclear bomb, up to that point, a estimated 11k thousand nukes and yes, every single one, was detonated with both sides not giving in, it resulted to the death of 99.4% of all humanity, making most of earth a wasteland.

The war killed 7.2%

The nukes killed 16.1%

The radiation and after effects killed 10.0

but ultimately, the most damaging blow to the population was

The lack of resources which killed 66.1

Now obviously this aint realistic as a hyper nuclear war which would rest to 11k nukes being dropped would kill all humanity and ultimately destroy the planet, it would take atleast a good 700 years, but you guys, you can just count it as a miracle.
