Chapter 745: Chapter 1000 - Mysterious Space
The two continued walking deeper into the cave. As they progressed further inward, Aoki's system completely lost contact with Porygon2.
This meant the Porygon2 back on the island should have entered a dormant state. When Aoki eventually exited this place, the system would re-establish connection with Porygon2 and resume normal operations.
Currently, all of Aoki's battle-ready Pokémon had been transferred to his side. The Pokémon remaining on the island had sufficient food stores to last three months without issues. If Aoki failed to return within that timeframe... the island would likely revert to being overrun with wild Pokémon. Therefore, Porygon2 couldn't remain inactive for three months. However, Aoki doubted exploring this strange space would take nearly that long.
As they walked, the Unown symbols on Aoki's wrists began glowing faintly. Drake showed no reaction, but Aoki's developed psychic abilities gave him some sensitivity to spatial distortions. "Lord Drake, we're nearly there. After rounding that corner up ahead, we'll likely enter the separate space," Aoki cautioned.
Drake nodded firmly. "Stay alert." Despite being the elder, Drake strode forward confidently with his Haxorus. Aoki remained in place momentarily, observing as Drake and his dragon-type Pokémon disappeared around the bend - the space visibly warping as they passed through the dimensional barrier.
After ensuring no immediate threats were present, Aoki followed with his Slowking. He had ample experience traversing such spatial membranes. In an instant, without any sensation of resistance, Aoki found himself transported to another world - emerging in the midst of a dense, ancient jungle.
He immediately released two Poké Balls, summoning his Blaziken and Aggron to his side. Only then did he take time to properly assess their surroundings. Towering primordial trees surrounded them, their massive trunks requiring at least three people to encircle. The forest stretched endlessly in every direction with no visible boundaries.
Turning back, Aoki placed his hand against the massive tree behind him but detected no spatial anomalies - the exit wasn't here. More concerningly, Drake and his Haxorus were nowhere to be seen. Had they arrived together, Drake certainly would have waited. This could only mean one thing...
"Troublesome. We've encountered the most problematic scenario - random spatial displacement upon entry," Aoki muttered, frowning. The true danger of this situation wasn't just the separation, but the difficulty in locating the fixed exit point within what was likely a massive space. Without Pokémon or abilities sensitive to spatial distortions, one could search endlessly and still fail to escape.
"Slow and methodical it is then," Aoki conceded. Following Drake's established protocol, he carved their unique shared marking into the tree's base - a cipher only the two of them could decipher. Then with his three Pokémon, he began surveying the area.
In an unknown space, particularly one with such dense vegetation, wandering aimlessly would be foolish. The prudent approach was establishing a secure base point, then expanding exploration outward methodically. When it came to wilderness survival, Aoki considered himself at least Drake's equal, if not slightly superior.
Testing the environment, Aoki waved his hand toward the massive tree, successfully opening a spatial passage. "Not a completely alien dimension then. The Unown's Secret Power functions here, which improves our safety margin," he noted mentally.
After changing into specialized outdoor gear, Aoki led his three Pokémon in a chosen direction. The hazy, directionless sky made navigation nearly impossible. Fortunately, Slowking's psychic abilities provided a solution. By marking their entry point with a psychic beacon and establishing additional coordinates at intervals, they could maintain orientation and even teleport back if needed.
They hadn't progressed far when wild Pokémon attacked - a massive Flygon, unusually powerful for a wild specimen.

Encountering a level 50 wild Flygon immediately upon entry suggested this space's Pokémon were exceptionally powerful. "If entire groups exist at this strength level..." Aoki mused, already formulating strategies. First, they needed to handle this immediate threat.
"Aggron, Rock Tomb! Pin it down!"
"Blaziken, Blaze Kick!"
Aoki's commands came rapid-fire. While facing multiple quasi-champion level wild Pokémon would prove challenging, it also presented excellent training opportunities for Blaziken and Aggron.
With a metallic clang, Aggron slammed its massive arms together, summoning three stone pillars that trapped the charging Flygon from multiple angles. Simultaneously, Blaziken leapt skyward, flames wreathing its leg as it executed a perfectly timed kick toward the predicted intercept point - demonstrating absolute trust in Aggron's trapping ability.
The blazing kick connected precisely as the Flygon became immobilized. The impact shattered Aggron's stone restraints and sent Flygon crashing into a massive tree trunk with such force it nearly became embedded, the surrounding bark charring black from the heat. A single decisive strike had defeated the powerful wild Pokémon.
Blaziken's control over its power had reached impressive levels. While its raw strength hadn't increased dramatically recently, its technical precision had improved markedly.
