Pokemon: Reborn As Ash; Hoenn

Ash, "Is that Orion? Someone tell me that's Orion."

Gou, "I pray that is Orion too."

Max, "We are half way closer to the forest, it will be a problem to turn around now."

Molly, "Should we hide?"

May, "If it is a wild Rayquaza it will anger him more, so no."

Lucario, -Relax, it is Orion. It seems Ruby finished his work.-

Ash gave a sigh of relief as Orion landed next to the field, "Ruby, am I glad to see you."

Ruby hugged them, "Yeah, took a while to deal with the paperwork but it's done. You lot alright? No one followed you, right?"

May let go of the group hug, "Yeah we are good, though we have been jumpy."

Ash let go next nodding, "Yeah, we have been taking rounds watching the camp one by one."

Gou sighed, "Things are not exactly good but it is not exactly bad either. It could be worse to be honest."

Molly, "We have been using Snail's sixth sense to avoid trouble."

May, "We have been lucky so far but we need to get to Forina forest by the seventh day of the Meteor week."

Ruby, "Because of Jiraichi, right?"

Jiraichi, -Correct Champion of Hoenn. It will be the largest gathering of the Jiraichi clans from around the world.-

Orion eyed him, -And you are the current Alpha, yes, I can see why you need to be there.-

Ash, "They will start fighting otherwise."

Ruby twitched, "They do belong to the Legendary line. If they get rowdy it could become a disaster."

Ash, "Right? So we need to get him the Alpha there as soon as possible. Let's avoid starting a war accidentally."

May, "Okay, we have to move soon then. It has already been four days so only three left."

Gou, "Agreed, plus I see the outline of the Forina forest over the horizon."

Max nodded, "It will be better to get under the cover of the forest first."

Molly, "I bet the forest is really pretty too. I mean that is where Jiraichi lives right?"

May smiled, "Agreed, it even has a temple and everything."

Jiraichi fidgeted, -About that.... I have been asleep for a long time... So, I have not actually done any upkeep or maintainace for the temple. The grass type Pokemon look after the forest but the temple, well... -

Ash chuckled, "I understand, do not worry though Jiraichi."

Lucario nodded, -We will help with the cleaning of your temple.-

Gou smirked, "Yeah, we cleaned up a temple before too. That was fun to do and really interesting as well."

Jiraichi stared, -And they allowed you to enter?-

Ash, "Yes, and that is also where I received Diance's egg here. Lord Mew is something else, I tell you. He didn't even warn us though I do not regret getting Diance."

Diance chirped, "Di."

Lucario, -Some heads up and information would have been great though. We basically scrambled to get a nutrition list prepared for her.-

Ash, "Even now, we are still updating it, the Nurses at the Pokemon Center have been pretty helpful."

Jiraichi, -I think I understand the worry. I believe one of the Jiraichi clans, well the one from Kalos have taken care of a Diance before. They might be able to help you out on this actually.-

Ash, "That would be wonderful Lord Jiraichi, I appreciate it."

Max, "Hey Absol? What's wrong?"

Wild Absol growled, "Sol."

Absol hissed, "Absol."

Ash, "Trouble, Max, Molly, take Jiraichi and head to the forest. May cover them. Gou, Ruby and I will check out what is going on and deal with it. Absol, go with them and make sure they are safe."

Wild Absol nodded and barked running towards the forest, May, Max and Molly followed Absol with Jiraichi in Max's arms looking a little worried. Ash then took out the costumes they had and Cheryl appeared again with her Diance while Gou became Jason her twin while Lucario became Timothy. Ruby's lips twitched at the disguises in amusement but kept the comments to himself as Absol growled once more in the direction Ruby came from. It looked like there would be a battle after all as Cheryl noticed the Team Magma symbol though, she could have sworn Team Magma was not all involved in Jiraichi case. But she amended, this was real life and not a movie so it was understandable Team Magma would not let a Legendary go.

Ruby, "Team Magma or rather Barnaby and you got your cohorts too."

Barnaby a gruff looking man in red, "Ruby, out of our way. You are not our target this time."

Ruby, "How lucky for me!"

Cheryl, "You will not pass."

Jason, "You guys have caused a lot of trouble for us too."

Barnaby, "Tsk, Mims, Trad, go after Jiraichi."

Cheryl muttered, "Lucario and I will go after them, deal with these guys."

Jason, "Be careful."

Ruby, "We will catch up with you soon."

Ash nodded and called Meganium getting on her with Trailblazer as a command which the grass type followed. Timothy called for Gengar and flew to intercept the Magna members from going after Jiraichi. Ruby and Jason got ready to deal with the three Magma members who seems to have a history of battle with Ruby. Barnaby called for Houndoom and Magmar to battle while the two grunts behind h called for Slugma and Litwick. Jason eyed the Litwick, they were more Unova Pokemon instead of Hoenn Pokemon and he wondered where they got them. Then as if a signal went off, Inteleon, Machoke, Blaziken and Starmie battled the Pokemon on team Magma's side.

Cheryl and Timothy were confronting Mims and Tard, they were no doubt fake names the two grunts were using. Cheryl had different plans for the two and order the Pokemon to bring them down without killing them. The order had the two stare at her incredulously then shook their heads as they focused on battling. Meganiun with Gengar, cornered the Pokemon and humans using sleep powder and illusions, this was not a League or Contest sanctioned battle so they were free to play dirty. Gengar has a big grin on his face after letting go of his restrictions and doing what Ghost Pokemon did best which was give others nightmares.

Cheryl, "Good job. Now Abra, be a sweetheart and read their minds for me."

Abra, -Of course Meema, what am I looking for?-

Cheryl, "Information on Uncle Meowth."

Abra, -Oh! Oh! Leave it to me, Meema.-

Timothy, -Focus on Meowth's location. Do not look for anything else yet.-

Abra nodded as he touched the grunt's forehead, -Hmm... Oh! He is still on Team Aqua and they had a fight close to Fortree City, he managed to get away.-

Cheryl, "Now, let's tie them up. I think Jason and Ruby have dealt with the others too."

Timothy, -We should go, Meema. I have a bad feeling about this.-

Cheryl paused and looked in the direction of the forest, "Like a distraction, let's go. I have a feeling there is more. Meganium, get some rest, I will need you at your top in case someone gets hurt. Typholsion, you are up."

Lucario, -Come Gengar, time to fly again.-

Gengar, "Gengar, geng."

Ash climbed Typholsion who roared and started to rush towards the forest while Timothy flew with Gengar. Ash clearly remembers there was a couple belonging to Team Magma that caused most of the troubles for Jiraichi. If they were not here, that meant those two were already with May, Max and Molly who had Jiraichi with them and didn't they create a fake Groudon? Ash scowled at that, there was already a true Groudon out there so a fake one was kind of an annoyance especially when they would have to deal with it. Just as they entered the forest, Cheryl saw Jason and Ruby heading towards them and they entered together.

Jason, "Looks like our hunch was right."

Cheryl, "There was another team involved."

Ruby, "Let's catch up with the others quickly."

May narrowed her eyes, "Max, Molly go, I will distract them. Take Jiraichi to safety."

Max, "What about you?"

May folded a white cloth, "Ponyta and I are going to be distractions. Make sure to reach the temple safely. I promise I will see you there."

Molly, "But there's two of them, May. It is dangerous to go alone."

May smirked, "Except I will not be alone."

Honchkrow, "Krow hon."

Torchic, "Chic tor."

May, "I have my team with me."

Max, "Okay sis, I trust you. Let's go Molly, all the work will be wasted if we do not get to the temple soon."

Molly wanted to protest but decided to nod instead, "Fine, you make a good point. You better be careful May. Please, just be careful."

May, "Of course Molly. Now, go I am going to head them off. Go Ponyta!"

Ponyta neighed and started to run in the Western direction which according to Jiraichi had a smaller shrine. Jiraichi watched the older sibling go and could not help but feel a tinge of worry over her. He knew the Aura User, Ash was already heading towards them and would no doubt run into May and her trail. However, May was not an active Aura user like Ash was and there was a higher chance of her getting hurt by those horrid humans. Jiraichi sighed realizing he was sounding like Lord Arceus about humans that he does not like and would go on a rant about them. He focused on directing Max and Molly to his temple which was now not too far from where they were, they just needed to climb up. Joy!

Cheryl, "That way."

Timothy, -Meema, take it easy with the Aura use.-

Cheryl, "It's May, she broke off from the rest and has a trail after her but there is one going after Max and Molly too."

Ruby, "I will go help May, you two make sure Max, Molly and Jiraich are safe."

Cheryl, "You sure?"

Ruby, "Yes, I received a message saying Butler escaped a few minutes before we tackled Team Magma back there. I have no doubt we will run into him and his partner."

Jason, "Right! Cheryl, Timothy, we should make sure Molly and Max are safe."

Cheryl, "Alright, be careful."

Ruby, "Always just be careful yourselves."

May slowed down and faced her opponent which was a woman, 'The assistant?'

The assistant, "Please, I do not wish to fight you need to find whoever took Jiraichi and keep them safe. Look my name is Diane, and I really do not want to hurt Jiraichi."

May narrowed her eyes, "Really? How do I know you are not trying to trick me?"

Diane, "I know you do not trust me but Butler has been obssesed to the point he has been ignoring everything including his health obsessing over Jiraichi."

May, "And where is this Butler?"

Diane looked at her, "I think you know."

Ruby, "Diane, you really did break out."

Diane looked ashamed, "Champion, I truly apologize for all the trouble Butler and I have caused but we have been with Team Magma for so long we cannot just walk away."

Ruby looked at her with an expressionless face, "Help us deal with Butler, he sounds like he is desperate enough to do anything to get what he wants."

Diane nodded, "He said he was going to wish for Groudon."

Ruby, "He does realize Groudon is another Legendary Pokemon right?"

Diane, "We know, but like you said he is desperate. Things have been really bad for us the last few years. So, now that he found Jiraichi he will not let it go."

Jason, "There, Max, Molly and Jiraichi and that's the Circus Ringmaster. What in the name of Arceus fence? He is part of Team Magma as well."

Cheryl, "Can't judge a book by their cover."

Jason, "Go Beedrill, protect Max, Molly and Jiraichi."

Beedrill buzzed, "Bzzz."

Butler, "Where did you come from?"

Cheryl, "You should leave my juniors alone Butler."

Butler, "You and Diance. Wonderful! This is just wonderful. Lady luck has not left me after all."
