Pokémon orphanage

Chapter 17: Snorlax

A huge Pokémon was lying on the grass outside the window.

Then the other party struggled to stand up and walked unsteadily towards the cafeteria.

This huge noise naturally attracted everyone's attention.

"Snorlax?" Taylor recognized the Pokémon in front of him at a glance. After all, Snorlax's huge size is still very recognizable.

But what Taylor didn't quite understand was how Snorlax got in.

You should know that the Pokémon orphanage is surrounded by a wall, and the design of this wall also serves to protect privacy and ensure the safety of Pokémon.

Although it is not very high, it is at least two and a half meters high.

However, the Snorlax in front of him seemed to have climbed over the wall.

This made Taylor very curious, how did this Snorlax do it?

"Mr. Taylor, how should this matter be handled?" Will asked with a serious expression, looking at Snorlax in front of him.

Although Snorlax looks cute in the anime, and most Snorlax look like that, with its huge size and weight, if it steps on a person's leg, it can directly break the bone.

And if Snorlax is in a hungry state, then Snorlax will be more threatening.

The "Wild Pokémon Distress Guide" released by the League specifically states that if you encounter a wild Snorlax and it is hungry, it is best to avoid it.

If you are discovered, quickly throw out all the food in your backpack and escape as quickly as possible.

Of course, if you have Pokémon, you can also command Pokémon to fight, but a hungry Snorlax is very threatening, so it is not recommended for trainers who do not have badges to try this operation.

"I can do it," Taylor was not particularly worried. This was a Pokémon orphanage. As long as he was in the Pokémon orphanage, even if a legendary Pokémon came, it would not threaten him.

And Taylor also roughly guessed the reason why Snorlax came.

After all, a Pokémon that spends most of its time sleeping and a small part of its time awake looking for food has a very simple and easy-to-guess thought process.

Taylor scooped out a few more servings of simmered Enigma Berry paste with potatoes, and then went over with the bucket of leftovers.

During the journey, several little ones wanted to come over and accompany Taylor, but were rejected by Taylor.

Taylor knew that the little ones wanted to protect themselves and were worried that Snorlax would go crazy, but Taylor was really not afraid.

Rather, he was more worried that the little ones would be hurt by Snorlax.

At this time, Snorlax was almost reaching the door of the cafeteria, but after noticing the food that Taylor brought out, Snorlax sat down on the ground.

Looking at Snorlax's silly look, Taylor felt a little funny.

However, the Snorlax in front of him looked a little fat and a little dirty, which made Taylor a little curious. Could it be that this Snorlax was also a Stray Pokémon?

But my own stupid system didn't react at all, so maybe that's not the case.

"Do you want to eat?" Taylor looked at the Snorlax in front of him. Taylor scooped a spoonful of Enigma Berry paste with potatoes for it and also made a large plate of mixed grains.

Snorlax stared at Taylor blankly, then reached out its hand, took the plate, and stuffed it into its mouth along with the plate.

"You can't eat the plate!" Taylor quickly intervened just in time. Though the Enigma Berry paste, potatoes, and mixed grains on the plate had already slid into Snorlax's stomach, he stopped it from swallowing the plate itself.

A "gurgling" sound came from Snorlax's stomach, and Snorlax just stared at Taylor blankly.

Taylor simply handed the entire pot of Enigma Berry paste with potatoes to Snorlax, and poured all the mixed grains and other vegetables into the pot.

A big pot full of food fell into Snorlax's hands, but it seemed to have no weight. Snorlax picked up the pot, lifted it up, and poured the food into its mouth.

Taylor was a little frightened when he saw this.

"Kro!" Kuro had finished eating and landed on Taylor. He combed his feathers while looking curiously at the big guy in front of him.

The average height of Snorlax is two meters and ten centimeters, which is not short and is much taller than most ordinary people.

Although Snorlax is sitting on the ground at the moment, its body still looks very huge.

"Mr. Taylor, is this Snorlax also an abandoned Pokémon?" Lucy came over and couldn't help but ask. Her voice was very soft, as if she was worried about disturbing the Snorlax who was eating in front of her.

"No," Taylor shook his head decisively. There was no Snorlax in his Pokémon orphanage.

And Pokémon like Snorlax are very special.

Because Snorlax has such a huge appetite, most of the time, once Snorlax is abandoned, the Alliance will organize to send it back into the wild. Unless it is evaluated as not suitable for being sent back to the wild, it will be placed in a Pokémon orphanage and immediately look for adopters.

After all, Snorlax has a huge appetite, and if it is placed in a Pokémon orphanage, it will be a huge challenge to the orphanage's finances.

Also because Snorlax eats too much, there are relatively few trainers willing to train Snorlax. Only some trainers who are not short of money will choose to train Snorlax.

The only thing that Taylor is worried about now is whether the Snorlax in front of him is wild or abandoned?

However, if it is an abandoned Snorlax, then you have to contact the Alliance to handle it.

By this time, Snorlax had finished eating and returned the bucket to Taylor.

"Wow, they really finished eating? So much!" The other volunteers had also finished eating.

Puffin walked to Taylor, rubbed Taylor's pants, and then stared at Snorlax in front of him.

After Snorlax put down the bucket, he slowly stood up, then touched his body, and then he took out a silver feather from somewhere and handed it to Taylor.

Taylor took it in confusion. Snorlax waved his hand and moved towards the courtyard wall.

Then, Snorlax flipped over the wall.

Looking at the huge Snorlax climbing the wall, Taylor was worried that the wall of his Pokémon orphanage would not be able to withstand it and would be directly collapsed by Snorlax.

But fortunately the wall held up, and a loud noise came from the other side, followed by silence.

"This really is," Taylor looked at the feather in his hand. It was a silver feather. It was very light in his hand and felt surprisingly good. Touching the feather felt like touching silk.

Taylor always felt that the feather in front of him seemed a little familiar.
