"Mr. Morning Sun, did you handle all of this by yourself?" Erika asked in disbelief as she surveyed the Team Rocket operatives groaning on the ground.

However, Eddie didn't answer Erika's question and instead focused on recalling his Pokemon.

Erika was genuinely shocked by what she witnessed. Team Rocket's forces had obviously been formidable - at least eighty Pokemon lay defeated across the battlefield, while Eddie remained completely unharmed.

If someone of her own strength had accomplished this, she wouldn't have been surprised.

After all, she herself was capable of battling eighty Pokemon weaker than her own team.

But the crucial difference was that she, Erika, the Gym Leader of Rainbow City, was a Quasi-Elite level trainer!

Meanwhile, Eddie was currently only an Peak-level trainer. How could the two even be compared?

If Erika had heard someone suggest an Peak trainer could match a Quasi-Elite trainer in the past, even she would have considered it a ridiculous joke.

But with this reality displayed before her eyes, she could no longer find any humor in the situation.

If an Peak trainer could accomplish what Quasi-Elite trainers achieved, how terrifying would this Elite trainer become once fully developed?

"Is this what Misty mentioned - Team Rocket's 'silver bullet' threat?" Erika wondered internally.

"I seem to be witnessing the emergence of a top-tier powerhouse..." she thought, simultaneously feeling grateful that Eddie was on their side as an ally rather than an enemy.

"Ding! You have completed the long-term hidden quest: 'Destroy Team Rocket's Mewtwo Plan' - Phase 2!"

"You have obtained quest rewards: Dragon Fang, TM Blast Burn, Gold Bottle Cap x2!"

"Ding! You have completed the hidden quest: 'Green's Assistance'! Obtained quest rewards: Gengarite Mega Evolution Stone, Black Glasses, Silver Crown x3!"

"Ding! You have completed the hidden quest: 'Erika's Support'! Obtained quest rewards: Soft Sand, Hard Stone, Silk Scarf!"

Erika's arrival had directly enabled the cleanup of remaining Team Rocket forces, ensuring their complete elimination.

At this moment, all three hidden quests related to Team Rocket operations displayed as completed.

The triple notification chimes rang continuously in Eddie's ears. Although somewhat noisy, Eddie found them quite pleasant to hear.

After all, these were reward notification sounds - who wouldn't appreciate them?

"By the way, where's Mew?" Eddie suddenly remembered the legendary Pokemon's presence, not having time to check his quest rewards immediately.

He looked back toward where Mew had been positioned earlier, only to find the area completely empty.

"Uh, not only has Mew disappeared, but Green slipped away as well? How troublesome, making this situation awkward," Eddie muttered.

Eddie had expected that Mew might simply depart without warning, but he hadn't anticipated Green leaving so quietly.

However, just as he was mildly complaining about Green's departure without farewell, his Pokedex began chiming with an incoming message.

Eddie retrieved his Pokedex and, as he suspected, discovered a message from Green.

"Handsome guy! Thank you for your help this time!"

Reading this message, Eddie could practically visualize Green sticking out her tongue playfully, and he couldn't help smiling slightly.

"Let me think... if nothing unexpected occurs, our next meeting will probably be in Saffron City," Eddie mused, looking toward Saffron City's direction with a knowing sneer.

Team Rocket's Rainbow City branch had been destroyed by him today. He would continue sabotaging Team Rocket's operations until, at their Saffron City headquarters, he would unite with other Pokedex holders and Alliance trainers to destroy them completely!

Since Team Rocket had made themselves his enemies, they would face total destruction!

Night had fallen. In fact, by the time Eddie had defeated Team Rocket and Erika arrived at the battlefield, the sun had already set completely.

Erika personally invited Eddie to rest at her residence, and Eddie naturally had no reason to decline such hospitality.

However, due to Team Rocket-related affairs, Erika needed to handle various follow-up matters, so while Eddie rested at Erika's home, she remained temporarily absent.

Fortunately, Eddie didn't have any immediate business with Erika. Her presence or absence didn't matter much. He had accepted Erika's invitation primarily because he wanted more comfortable accommodations, rather than roughing it outdoors.

Erika's residence was quite spacious, not much different from Misty's water villa in terms of luxury. Eddie once again enjoyed an excellent meal and a relaxing bath.

After dinner and bathing, Eddie went to Erika's back garden and released all his Pokemon for fresh air, while he organized today's considerable gains.

Why didn't Eddie count his rewards in his room as usual, you might ask?

Given Eddie's current large number of Pokemon, the room might not accommodate all of them comfortably.

"Besides, with this massive guy here, no matter how large the room is, it wouldn't be sufficient," Eddie said, glancing at Snorlax, who continued sleeping soundly.

"I'm wondering if this guy has been sleeping since I first battled and captured him. Does he even realize that I'm his trainer now?" Eddie observed Snorlax's perpetual rest with bemused contemplation.

However, he quickly refocused and retrieved various Pokemon delicacies from his supplies.

First, he distributed portions to all Pokemon except Snorlax, then placed Snorlax's serving beside the sleeping giant.

The moment Eddie positioned the delicacies, Snorlax immediately awakened, eyes shining as it observed the generous amount of food Eddie had prepared.

"Snor~" Snorlax rumbled contentedly, politely picking up the delicacies and eating them bite by bite with obvious happiness.

"Only food can wake you up? Do you even understand that you're my Pokemon now?" Eddie approached Snorlax directly, needing confirmation.

He had to verify this relationship; otherwise, if he released Snorlax later and it continued resting indefinitely, what would be the point of capturing it?
