Pokémon: Gardevoir Harem with Tag System

"Axel, your Onix is way too overpowered."

"Wuwuwu, why is my Pikachu so weak, their Pikachu has insta-killed me several times already."

They were playing a tower-pushing game with a Pokémon theme, where players could control different Pokémon to battle, aiming ultimately for victory.

An hour later, after eating and drinking her fill, Cynthia leaned back satisfied, patting her now slightly bulging belly, her eyes not even daring to meet Axel's.

"I remember Caitlin saying you're a Psychic-type ability user... How... how are you also so good physically?"

Axel was just about to eat when he suddenly felt a chill down his back.

Turning his head, he suddenly saw four massive teeth crackling with golden lightning.

Before Axel could finish, a paralyzing jolt spread through his body, and he lost consciousness immediately.

Cynthia looked worriedly at Gardevoir, "Axel will be okay, right? Even though it was the weakest power level, Garchomp is still champion-tier..."

["He'll be fine... He's... very sturdy..."]

"Still, will this jolt cause other issues? Gyarados is 4x weak to Electric, you know."

Gardevoir shook her head. After being with Axel for so long, she knew him all too well.

No matter what issues arose, Gyarados was always energetic and lively.

After a whole day and night of training, even with his iron body, Axel was starting to feel a bit drained.

"Good thing Eva's relatives weren't around... and good thing I got Ash's 'Super True Rookie' tag first."

If either of those conditions weren't met, Axel felt like he'd be half-dead by now.

"Once the upcoming fights are done, I've gotta get more tags."

Because Eternatus' battle was a story-locked boss fight, Axel couldn't just go straight for Ho-oh like in the Kanto region, so his dream world progress in Galar was very slow.

As of last night, Axel had just battled Nessa, Raihan, and others at the Wyndon Stadium.

As for Nessa, Axel had a pretty good impression of her. Though her tags overlapped a bit with Blue's, still the same "Flooding" tag.

Today, Axel got curious and tried installing it onto Gardevoir...

None of the others' tags were really worth mentioning, except for one from Raihan, "Gigantamax Queen", which was decent. But Axel didn't get it in either of his two tries.

Seeing her outfit, Axel's eyes immediately lit up too.

Today, Eva was wearing a pajama set identical to Gardevoir's, with her hair dyed pink on purpose.

She even had on light makeup. If he hadn't known better, Axel might've thought Seraphine had transmigrated over.

After putting away Gyarados, Axel gave Eva a hug first thing, and pulled out some food from his backpack.

"Here, all your favorites. I even packed two portions of uncooked wontons just for you, you can boil them tomorrow."

"Mm!", Eva's eyes curved like crescents as she nodded hard.

She casually put the food on a nearby table and circled Axel several times.

"You're not hurt, right?"

"Yesterday I looked up that female trainer's photo, she's Johto's Dark-type Elite. How did you two even get into a fight?"

Axel patted her head, carried her to the chair, and explained everything that had happened yesterday.

Though the process wasn't too dangerous, it still made Eva stick out her tongue in shock.

"Good thing you had Lance... You better treat him nicely from now on."

"Got it. Letting him stay with my parents was already a huge reward for him."

"You...", Hearing what Axel called them, Eva's face instantly turned red.

Her hands flailed awkwardly, and she tried hard to hold back a grin.

After a long while, she finally gave Axel a light punch on the chest.

"You're so annoying~ W-Who's your parent, huh?"

"Want me to call them and ask which of us they'd pick between the two?"

"Aaaaah! Axel, I'm gonna bite you to death today!"

Axel took a step back and gave her a once-over.

"You sure about that?"

"Wuwuwu, you can't say a woman can't!"

Eva let out a cold snort, then skillfully pulled out Gardevoir's Poké Ball.

"Gardevoir! Today we're gonna show Axel who the real double champions are."

Gardevoir: "..."
