Chapter 180 - Dark Dawn, Establishing a Guild
[Congratulations on clearing the Calamity Demoness dungeon and unlocking the passive skill Dark Dawn of the Wings of Calamity.]
【Dark Dawn】
Quality: Legendary
Skill Type: Passive
Darkness: Normal attacks or magic attacks have a 10% chance to cause the Dark effect. Each stack of the Dark effect causes the target to lose 30m of vision range, up to a maximum of 10 stacks.
Dawn: Normal attacks or magic attacks have a 3% chance to trigger the Dawn effect, dealing 100 damage. When the enemy unit has 10 stacks of Darkness, the next attack will trigger Dawn Lethal Opportunity, dealing damage equal to the number of Darkness stacks * 20% of the attacker’s Attack!
“So this is the dual passive?”
Jiang Cheng mused, “It is indeed quite powerful.”
Moreover, this skill was very suitable for him.
Ten stacks of Darkness could cause the target to lose 300m of vision range.
The vision range of ordinary players was only around 300m. As the opponent’s vision range kept shrinking, they would practically become blind.
As for Dawn Lethal Opportunity, the calculation was 10 stacks multiplied by 20% of his own Attack.
10 times 20% equals 200%!
His current Attack was 1,819, so 200% would be 3,638 damage.
In other words, he could use the 10 stacks to render the opponent blind.
Then, when dawn broke before the opponent’s eyes, that would be the moment Dawn Lethal Opportunity triggered.
Dark Dawn, Dawn Lethal Opportunity… The names of these passives indeed matched very well.
Not only that, he could further increase the damage of Dawn Lethal Opportunity through evolution levels!
As expected of a dual passive Legendary skill!
Jiang Cheng suddenly felt a bit of anticipation for the other dual passive skill, Dark Curse.
“How did you all distribute the loot?”
“Mm, they bought them.” A Silly Cutie pouted.
“Bought them?” Jiang Cheng was slightly surprised.
“Oh, yes. They said they didn’t contribute much this time, but the equipment was too tempting, so they had no choice but to spend gold to buy it.”
“That’s fine. Judging by their expressions, they must have gotten some really good items, right?”
“Yup. Qian Chonglang obtained another Legendary-grade armor for his class, but it’s level 40. He’s preparing to run a few more dungeons to level up.”
A Silly Cutie nodded. “Blood Dancer also got a level 40 Legendary greatsword. Sister Yun Xiang got another Legendary ring, but unfortunately, they’re all level 40.”
After saying that, she walked over, tugged on Jiang Cheng’s arm, and whispered, “Skeleton Big Brother, we earned 872 gold coins this time. Hehe.”
Seeing her flushed little cheeks, Jiang Cheng smiled knowingly. He pinched her little nose. “I didn’t expect you to be a little miser.”
Having her nose pinched, A Silly Cutie instantly pouted. “Hmph, I’m not.”
“Alright, gold will depreciate in the future. There’s no need to deliberately pursue it.”
“We need to run more dungeons. The daily limit is 10 runs, and now that the dungeon difficulty has increased to level 40, the experience gained has also increased significantly. I leveled up twice to reach level 33. After two more levels, I won’t be able to enter the Goblin Pursuit anymore.”
Jiang Cheng pondered, “Dungeons provide a lot of experience in a short amount of time. Don’t waste your daily runs.”
“Oh, I know. By the way, Skeleton Big Brother, just now, Mo Shenbing and Tian Mo Wings said they had reached level 30 and wanted to establish a guild. They asked if I wanted to join them. Should I agree?”
Hearing this, Jiang Cheng shook his head.
“Guilds do offer many benefits. They have their own shops where you can purchase exclusive decorations and potions. You can also learn battle formations, acquire guild skills, occupy cities to gain prestige, and unlock special shops.”
“However, there are also many restrictions that come with joining a guild. You’ll have additional responsibilities and obligations, such as helping guildmates level up, forming teams to take down bosses, and defending guild territory. It can greatly limit your freedom. It’s not really necessary for us right now.”
“Besides, they probably don’t have a Guild Establishment Token.”
“Oh, I understand.”
A Silly Cutie seemed a bit tempted upon hearing about those new gameplay elements, but after Jiang Cheng’s explanation, she dismissed the idea.
Jiang Cheng glanced at her and took out a Guild Establishment Token. “Actually, it’s just a guild. We can establish our own. You can invite whoever you want.”
