Onepiece: I'm Gojo Satoru

Chapter 111: Chapter 111 Return to Windmill Village

After three days of using his abilities and occasionally hitching a ride, Satoru finally arrived at Windmill Village.

Standing at the village entrance, he took in the familiar sights. A sense of nostalgia and belonging warmed his heart. In this world, Satoru had no true home, but Windmill Village had come to feel like one.

"Isn't this Satoru? Why are you back?"

The voice of an old villager, Uncle Ducky, startled him out of his thoughts.

"I'm just on a break, so I thought I'd come back to visit," Satoru replied with a smile.

"That's great! Stay for a while this time. The village chief keeps saying that once someone becomes a naval big shot, they forget their roots. Look at Garp—he only comes back when he wants to eat or cause trouble!"

Satoru laughed. "Uncle Ducky, that sounds more like what you'd say!"

Soon, news of Satoru's return spread through the village, and before long, a gathering formed at Makino's tavern.

"Cheers to our admiral coming back home!" a villager called out.

Everyone raised their drinks in celebration, clinking glasses and enjoying the slow, carefree atmosphere that defined Windmill Village. Satoru couldn't help but smile at the simple joy in the air.

Makino, standing behind the bar, caught his attention. "These past two years must have been exhausting, Satoru," she said gently.

Her kind words struck a chord. It had been a long time since anyone asked him about how he felt.

"It was worth it," Satoru replied, trying to downplay the exhaustion. "Becoming an admiral took effort, but I wouldn't trade it for anything."

Makino raised her glass of juice. "Thank you, Satoru. Not just for this village, but for everything you've done for the world."

Satoru raised his glass of milk in response. "Thank you, Sister Makino."

The village chief joined them, leaning on his cane. "I never imagined you'd become an admiral so quickly, kid."

Satoru grinned. "What can I say? Sengoku practically begged me to take the position!"

The village chief chuckled. "You haven't changed at all."

---

As the night wore on, Satoru turned to Makino. "How's Luffy? Is he still staying with Dadan?"

Makino nodded. "Yes, and he has an older brother now—Ace."

"Really? I have to see him," Satoru said, his interest piqued.

"I'm taking some clothes and supplies to them. Why don't you come with me?" Makino offered.

The village chief chimed in, "I'll tag along. It's been a while since I checked on those rascals."

---

After about an hour of walking, the group arrived at Dadan's hideout.

"Is anyone home?" Makino called out, knocking on the door.

A scruffy bandit answered, surprised to see them. "Oh, it's Makino and the village chief! Come on in."

"We're here to drop off supplies for Luffy and Ace. Are they around?"

The bandit scratched his head. "Those two? They're never around during the day unless it's time to eat."

Makino sighed, used to the boys' antics.

Satoru smiled. "Don't worry, I'll find them."

Closing his eyes, Satoru activated his observation energy. Instantly, his senses spread across the mountain, pinpointing their exact location.

"Found them. I'll bring them back," he assured Makino.

"Thank you, Satoru," she said, her trust evident.

With that, Satoru set off, eager to reunite with the young dreamer he once knew.
