What a great world.
Two days into the game and already a boss fight, with three phases at that.
Though, this combat system is very fun to play around with....
Wait, let me check the menu again.
1. Almost all things are poisonous in this area(C)
2. Killed creatures leave goo in surrounding areas(C)
3. To be discovered...
Rules of Combat:
0. While playing single, Player 1 can change bullets whenever he wants. (C)
1. Activation bullets only affect activation points on targets. (C)
2. Anchor bullets can be used to create activation points(Anchors), producing one Anchor in the air. (C)
3. Multiple Anchor bullets can be shot with a controlled distance, varying by your imagination, and are connected by lines between the Anchors. (C)
4. The shape you want the Anchor bullets to connect into vary on your imagination. (C)
5. You and your teammate take turns shooting Anchor and Activation bullets, with Anchor bullets always shooting first. After an Activation bullet is shot, the bullets in both Players' guns switch. When combat begins, Player 1 is allowed one Activation shot, before beginning with Anchor Points. (C)
6. Both players can see Anchors after they have been placed. (C)
7. After Anchor points are set, your teammate can shoot at or through the Anchors with an Activation bullet. Your Activation bullets have modes, and you can create any image you want, as long as anchor points fit the image. (C)
8. In combat, only Player 1 is able to see the enemies. (C)
9. Anchor points disappear after being used. (C)
10. Your weapon will take damage after every activation bullet.(C)
11. To be discovered...

Number 10 seemed kind of obvious, but the only other thing that seemed to be updated was rule 7 and and it's finally complete.
So I can create anything I want then?
Seems a little overpowered to me...
I mean, as long as I think properly, I can practically do whatever I want.
I guess the thinking part is the most difficult, especially with bosses like
THAT, I glare at the mantis.
The mantis just shrugs its shoulders(at least that is what it looked like).
Tsk.
I shoot a bullet at it, but it doesn't even reach the mantis, and bounces off the leaves of the massive tree.
The mantis 'laughs' at me, pointing its front leg towards me.
TSK...
Oh man, I am definitely going to kill this thing.
Right when these words pop up, I see little flowers slowly flying down towards me. The flowers were bright pink, but had a sinister feel to them. Watching them fall mesmerized me, and I stood there motionless for a while, but right when one of them got a little close, I saw a small spark. I quickly snap out of my daydream and jump out of way, realizing the incoming danger. The flower explodes upon contact to the ground, creating a small crater in the ground, with the shockwave knocking me backwards by a couple of inches.
I look around me and see hundreds of flowers coming my way, all of them gliding gracefully, surrounding my whole body. I create a shield behind me, and all the flowers explode upon touching the shield, and I run through the temporary opening trying to gain some distance. After my escape, many of the flowers surrounding me had hit other flowers, leading to not only explosions but also arc flashes.
I see more flowers coming at me, and I tell [FMC],
"Build a shield to my left!"
I fill the shield and fend off another wave of these flowers, but more just keep coming.
"Does that thing have an infinite amount of those flower!?"
I create yet another structure, but it keeps exploded in no time, with more and more flowers coming down.
Dodging these flowers isn't that bad, but I will run out of stamina too quickly if I only dodge, meanwhile, blocking these flowers is also not doing anything, as an infinite amount just keeps coming and coming. My gun might break again and it will be ggs...
I keep blocking and dodging for a couple minutes, but to no avail.
I look at the tree, and count only three of those red fruits hanging from its branches. One of them is glowing a bright orange, while the other two don't seem to be doing anything.
Perhaps each attack phase is related to the glowing fruit? Even if that's true, I have no way of getting to it...
I look back at the suiciding flowers gliding towards me, and with even more careful observations, I notice something that escaped my eye since the beginning of the battle.
"Hey [FMC]! It is risky, but this is the only way to defeat this thing that I can think of. You are going to have to get ready to build for a long time!"
"Lets see it."
With this confirmation, I put all my trust into [FMC].
"Create a platform that is 60x60 feet, in the middle of the cavern!"
"On it!"
I see anchor points quickly pop up beneath my feet, but I had not the time to be distracted by these points. I now am completely dependent on my speed and movement capabilities.
I put my gun away, and focus on the gaps between the falling flowers. I weave around some of the gaps, jump over some flowers, and slide under some of the flowers, but more and more keep coming. I decide to run closer to the end of the cavern, leaving me more space to think and move.
"The platform is finished, what's next?"
"North/front is going to be the other end of the cavern, the one I'm running towards. Create a battery, with the positive end facing up, at the middle left of the platform, with diameter of about 4 feet, and height of 15 feet!"
"Got it!"
I say this while running, with more and more flowers piling up in front of me. I quickly dodge and jump around these flowers, but one flower caught me unaware and exploded nearby, launching me towards one of the walls of the cavern. I pick myself up and continue running, ignoring the pain in my back.
"Its done!"
"Top left corner of the platform, create another battery, scaled down by half with the positive end facing downwards, and extend a wire from it 5 feet upwards, with it curving in the south east direction, leave the end unconnected."
I see the next part of the project being made, with perfect precision and accuracy, just how I want it. This part didn't take too long, and was quickly erected in the matter of a couple minutes.
"To the direct right of the first battery, travel about 5 feet, and create a copper wire coil so we can connect these parts!"
"Mhm."
I continue running, but my stamina is really running low. I use the charm to create a copy of myself, and hide my real self behind a rock. The flowers start targeting the copy, but the copy can only buy so much time.
Regaining my stamina behind the rock, I give the next set of directions,
"In the middle of the upper half of the platform, create an Ferris-wheel like shape, about 20 feet high, but wrap it in more copper wires, as much as you can."
I look behind the rock, and see the copy about to get cornered by the gliding flowers.
It was nice knowing you, copy...
And soon enough, the copy got exploded by at least 10 of those flowers.
Ouch...
I shudder at the sight of the gruesome death, wondering what it would feel like if it happened to me...
Anyway, got to get back to running away.
I exit the shelter of the rock, and instantly, flowers begin coming to my direction. After the quick break, I regained a good amount of energy, allowing me to run for fairly large amount of time.
While running, I see the project created by [FMC],
It was astonishing. The intricate design of the batteries, the Ferris-wheel, the cooper wires, all blew me away, and I could already see the whole project taking form.
"That's amazing, [FMC]."
"Of course it is.",
I can imagine the smirk on her face, but without much time, I get going with more instructions.
"Create two capacitors, one about five feet to the right of middle of the platform, and one ten feet to the right of the bottom left corner of the platform!"
I continue to run from the flowers, but their numbers soon will overwhelm me. A flower exploded near me, creating a shockwave causing me to lose balance, and another flower explodes after that, launching me again to a wall. A roll out of the way of the next flower, but I can tell that my strength is quickly diminishing. I look behind me and anxiously wait for the capacitators to be built.
I'm running out of time!
I decide to tell the next instructions even with the capacitators not being completed yet.
"Even if your not done yet, create two electrodes of the same size five feet away from each other, aligned with the left side of the platform at the bottom right of the platform!"
My heartbeat quickens, and my energy runs low. One more hit from a flower, and I can't dodge the follow-ups. I keep running, but in the opposite direction. I need to get to the electrodes before I run out of energy. I slide between some floating flowers, but a flower from behind me hits the ground, causing a shockwave and sends me tumbling across the floor.
Just four more feet to go!
I try to get back on my feet, but it takes too long. A flower from my left explodes and launches me to the right.
In a last-ditch attempt, I try to use the shockwaves of the explosions to launch me towards my destination. My health was quickly running low.
Getting through two phases and dying on the last? Impossible, and I force my body to move to the platform, even if it means I have to crawl. Another flower explodes, and launches me forward, leaving me practically immobile.
It can't end here!!
Just when I think I was about to lose, I hear a scream,
"ITS DONE!!"
This scream wakes up the last bit of energy inside my body, and I raise my hand, and shoot an activation bullet at the massive structure. The bullet hits, and an array of multiple different colors, with complex wiring connecting all parts of the project slowly gets built. The color of cooper, green, blue, and yellow expand across the structure, and as the structure gets built, I hear a ding,
Without even caring about what the notification means, I crawl in between the two electrodes, and lay there in wait. Right as a flower is about to land on me, I use the last of my stamina and jump out of the way. The flower creates an explosion, but suddenly, a crackling sound can be heard.
I smile in delight, as this solidified the fact that my idea worked.
I lay on the ground in wait, and suddenly, after three seconds, a massive shockwave is felt across the whole cavern, but this time, the shockwave wasn't an explosion,
The structure that the flower activated was an EMP.
