It was Shiryu, the former Head Jailer. He offered the antidote to Blackbeard and his crew, each one barely clinging to life.

Shiryu had been keeping tabs on Teach ever since his meteoric rise, watching from the inside. Now, their paths had finally crossed.

After Magellan temporarily released him to quell the riot, Shiryu betrayed the prison, slaughtering countless guards on his way out.

He severed Impel Down's communications with the outside world, then followed the Blackbeard Pirates—bringing salvation.

"Zehahaha! Welcome to the crew! But before we celebrate, we've got unfinished business!"

Revived and grinning, Blackbeard welcomed one of Impel Down's twin pillars—Shiryu of the Rain, a force on par with Magellan himself.

Guided by the former jailer, the Blackbeard Pirates swiftly descended to Level 6 as planned.

Upon reaching the infamous "Eternal Hell," Shiryu unlocked every cell, unleashing the most dangerous criminals the World Government had ever hidden away.

Before the dust settled, Blackbeard's voice echoed through the chaos, delivering a ruthless command.

"Fight each other! Only the survivors join my crew!"
