Sunlight streamed through the window, bathing the room in a warm glow.
Stella's gaze rested on Roja and the several peculiar fruits laid out on the table. Her eyes gradually welled up with tears.
It was an indescribable feeling.
Once, she had been a slave, resigned to a life of endless darkness. But fate intervened, leading her to Roja—the man who had saved her from despair.
She looked at him, her savior, her unwavering light.
Without hesitation, she dropped to her knees, bowing deeply before him.
"Thank you, Master! My life belongs to you. No matter what happens, I will never betray you!"
Roja quickly helped Stella to her feet, a look of discomfort crossing his face.
"Didn't I tell you before? We're partners, not master and servant. Do you understand?" he said firmly.
Stella nodded earnestly, but in her heart, she still saw Roja as her irreplaceable master—the one who had changed her life forever.
Roja, sensing her resolve, didn't press the matter further. Instead, he gestured toward the table with a smile.
"All right, Stella. Now, pick the fruit that calls to you!"
Stella turned her attention to the five fruits on the table. Each was unique, bearing patterns that seemed almost alive.
These were no ordinary fruits. Roja had carefully selected them from the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia, ensuring each was immensely powerful.
After studying them for a moment, Stella pointed to the fruit on the far right.
"Are you sure about this one?" Roja asked.
Stella nodded with conviction. "I'm sure, Master."
"Good. Just take a small bite—it's enough to awaken the fruit's powers."
"Yes, Master."
Obediently, Stella picked up the fruit and hesitated briefly. She had heard stories about the terrible taste of Devil Fruits, but she steeled herself and took a cautious bite.
The instant she did, her face twisted in disgust. "It tastes horrible!"
Ain, who had been watching from the side, couldn't help but laugh.
"That expression brings back memories!" Ain said, grinning. "When I ate my Devil Fruit, I didn't know just one bite was enough—I ate the whole thing! I can still taste that horrible flavor."
"Do you feel any changes?" Roja asked Stella, his tone calm yet curious.
Stella closed her eyes, focusing on her body. Suddenly, a pitch-black aura began to fill the room, emanating from her.
Before their eyes, her body started to transform. Strange, intricate patterns appeared on her skin. Her slender arms morphed into sharp, gleaming blades, and her legs followed suit, turning into deadly edges.
Her hair deepened into a vivid crimson, and her pupils shifted to an otherworldly hue. Stella stood before them, radiating an aura of both beauty and terror—a Rakshasa warrior risen from the abyss.
Ain stared, stunned. The transformation was unlike anything she had ever seen.
"Walking doesn't feel too strange," Stella said after taking a few careful steps. Her blade-like feet left shallow scratches on the floor.
Roja nodded approvingly. "It'll take time, but you'll adjust. For now, focus on getting used to the power."
Stella caught sight of herself in a nearby mirror. Her reflection, with its sharp blades and dark aura, gave her pause. She frowned slightly, uncertainty flickering in her expression.
Seeing this, Roja stepped behind her and gently pulled her into a comforting embrace.
"Stella," he said softly, stroking her crimson hair. "You look powerful radiating a mysterious beauty that's uniquely yours."
"Mysterious beauty…" she murmured, her frown fading.
The sight of her vicious transformation had momentarily unsettled her. She had regretted her choice, feeling monstrous. But Roja's words washed away her doubts.
How could she hate the gift he had given her?
With renewed determination, Stella turned to Roja, a warm smile spreading across her lips.
"Master, I won't let you down. I'll master this power and become stronger!"
Roja's expression softened, his own smile reflecting her resolve.
Ain, still awestruck, spoke up. "Lord Roja, what kind of Devil Fruit is this? It seems incredibly powerful."
Roja nodded knowingly. "This is the Zoan-Type Human-Human Fruit, Mythical Model: Rakshasa Maiden Form. It's a mythical Zoan, similar to the one used by Sengoku the Buddha."
Ain's eyes widened in amazement. As a marine, she knew the legendary power of Sengoku's fruit. Its immense strength had made him a force to be reckoned with.
Turning to Stella, Ain offered her encouragement. "Your abilities look even more aggressive than those of Sengoku's fruit. You'll be unstoppable—keep training and hone your power!"
Stella glanced at Roja, her confidence growing. Crossing her bladed arms over her chest, she declared with unwavering determination:
"Yes!"
