"The Very Reliable Deuce!" - Masked Deuce.

The Spadille creaked as it docked against the harbor of the Frauce Kingdom, a notorious World Government-aligned nation nestled in the East Blue. The cities' port was already a battlefield. Smoke clung to the skies like ash in the wind, and the clash of steel against flesh rang from beyond the stone streets.
"Looks like we arrived in the middle of a battle," Deuce muttered, scribbling in his journal.
Cocox, the rooster-fox perched on the railing, gave a strangled crow and fluffed its feathers like it was itching to witness a brawl.
Ace stood at the bow, arms crossed, observation locked onto the distant fight. A single figure clashed against two Marines just outside the town square.
Clearly outnumbered, the man stood at a significant disadvantage showing signs of clear exhaustion. His clawed leg gouged into the stone. The marines were bloodied and staggering not faring well either.
Around the square, dozens of bodies lay in disarray—guards, nobles, and marines alike. A few civilians were ruffled, but no signs of death. Many of them were huddled, wide-eyed, in corners. Ace and Deuce realized by their chains.
They were slaves.
Ace stepped off the ship.
"Captain?" Deuce called.
"We're helping him," Ace replied without looking back.
Deuce nodded tucking away his journal.
"Aye!"
The figure in question—towering, muscular, with skin tinged a strange coral-pink— let out a deep grunt as his clawed leg slammed into the ground, cracking stone and steadying himself. He took a puff of his massive pipe that was held in his non clawed hand. Taking it out of his mouth he wielded his giant pipe, smoke burning throughout it.
His eyes burned with fury beneath wild, seaweed-like black locks.
He snarled, revealing a row of shark-like teeth.
"You rats think you're untouchable because you wear uniforms and throw 'justice' in people's faces.
"Your nothing but frauds!" He screamed violently.
To Ace's surprise he was able to notice armament haki forming on the man's hand.
"This is your last warning you dirty, Fish-man!" Barked the other marine.
"You're under arrest for treason against the World Government. Comply or die."
The giant fishman smirked before taking another puff.
"I prefer option three."
"Your heads!"
He shot off from his position swinging his massive club at one of the marines.
The marine quickly blocked the impact his forearms swelling.
His partner quickly retaliated aiming a brutal kick towards the fishman's face.
The kick landed knocking the fishman back a distance of 10 feet.
He grunted before spitting out a small mouth of blood, panting heavily.
Suddenly, a den den mushi began to ring.

"Commodore Holden and Maxwell reinforcements are inbound. Since it is a world government affiliated matter a navy vice admiral has been deployed."
"Monkey D. Garp."
Hearing the news every marine suddenly shouted cries of excitement. All they had to do was hold on and the legendary marine hero would assist them.
The now named Holden and Maxwell smiled at the news before taunting the man infront of them.
"Silly fishman, Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp, isn't your average marine. He is one of the strongest at hq. You can't even beat us—he will decimate you."
The fishman simply stared up at the sky before taking a puff. He originally planned to lay low for a while due to his latest run in with the marines. He couldn't control himself when those world government bastards we're purchasing live people like they were merchandise.
His outburst caused the kingdom's guards to be deployed. He easily defeated them, but more and more kept showing up. That alongside the numerous marines left him completely tired.
There was no way that he could get past these marines and get to the water. Maybe if he was at peak condition.
His situation just went from grim to completely unsurvivable.
He was lost in thought before a voice broke through the silence.
"Need a hand?"
Turning towards the newcomers he discovered that he had no clue who they were.
"Why?" He asked cautisouly.
Ace simply smiled at the man.
"Simple, I want to hear your story."
"Listen here boy. You are interfering with justice. I take it I don't have to tell you the consequences of your actions?" Commodore Holden spoke, stunned by the man's bravado.
Ace stared at the two men.
"I'm a pirate. You're a marine. That's all that needs to be said." As the last word left his mouth Ace suddenly rushed towards the men.
Deuce followed closely behind.
The fishman was stunned by their sudden action before he noticed a strange creature walking towards him.
A strange fox with rooster features crowed as if it was cheering for the men.
Sitting down he turned his gaze towards the ensuing battle.
Ace quickly unsheathed his blade, Arman De Brignac. Slashing towards one of the men.
Ace's slash quickly dispersed of the man's defenses overwhelming him completely.
The fishman and the marines stared shocked at his strength.
Deuce followed suit locking into combat with the other marine.
His small knife sliced towards the man's chest followed up with a punch. Commodore Maxwell quickly dodged the first strike before intercepting Deuce's punch with his own.
Scanning their opponent they quickly realized they were evenly matched.
The marine rushed towards Deuce initiating a their second clash.
He quickly aimed multiple punches at the man's face. His punches left Deuce with barely any chance of dodging before he was hit cleanly by one.
Deuce stared at the marine before spitting out blood. The two continuously clashed again.
Ace rejoined the fishman and Cocox, while keeping an eye on Deuce. He already killed his opponent.
The fishman stared at Ace with newfound respect.
"Your swordsmanship is impressive."
Ace smiled keeping his gaze forward.
"That guy was super weak. You could have easily beat him if you weren't tired."
The fishman didn't deny Ace's words. He accumulated most of his fatigue before the marines even joined the fray.
"Hey Deuce, hurry up!" Ace shouted.
"Your making me look bad."
A tick mark appeared on Deuce's forehead.
"Screw you, bastard."
Despite wanting to quickly defeat the man—Deuce couldn't find an opening. Every punch from him resulted in a punch in return.
A few minutes later. Deuce and the marine both were bleeding and exhausted.
Ace stood up.
"Come on. We have to to."
The fishman and Cocox followed Ace.
"Since you fought my crewmate here to a standstill I will spare you." Ace spoke before grabbing Deuce.
The marine simply watched them leave acknowledging that this was way above his pay grade.
Ace stopped in his tracks and called out towards the now freed slaves.
"I can guarantee all of your safety if you leave with me right now. If you don't you may be recaptured again." Shouted Ace.
After a moment of silence countless individuals rushed after Ace to join the Spadille.
As the Spadille traveled off into the distance, Maxwell took out his den den mushi.

As the den den mush rang he noticed a name drawn in the same.

"This is Commodore Maxwell providing new information regarding the Frauce Kingdom incident."
Elsewhere, the Spadille can be seen drifting through the seas.
The Spades can be seen huddled around the fishman listening to his story.
"So, your a renowned world government rebel with a bounty of 25 million."
"Devil of The Ocean
Davey Jones."
The now named Davey Jones took a puff of his pipe.
"What's it to you?"
