Chapter 25: The Brain, I Shook It
"Damn it... what exactly did you do to him!"
Arlong, completely unable to comprehend the opponent's attack, couldn't help but roar in fury, his expression twisted with rage.
Although Chew's head showed no visible wounds, blood suddenly began to pour from all seven orifices.
Then, without warning, he fell into the pool, motionless—clearly killed by this human using some unknown method!
Hearing Arlong's outburst, Will slowly turned his head, a faint smile playing on his lips:
"It's the brain. I shook his brain evenly, and then he died.
"Don't worry, he went peacefully, with almost no pain."
"No pain?!"
Arlong's face twisted into a grimace upon hearing this.
He wasn't about to believe such nonsense. How could there be no pain when Chew was bleeding from all seven orifices?
By now, Arlong had realized the dire situation as he watched his three officers being effortlessly dealt with.
Without waiting for the opponent to launch another attack, he raised his hand and roared with commanding authority:
"Minions! Attack together! Kill this damned human!"
"Ooh—!!"
The fishmen, not the sharpest tools in the shed, didn't have time to think too much. Their bodies moved instinctively as they charged toward Will, shouting wildly.
Seeing this, Will didn't stay put. Instead, he quickly moved, retreating to the spot where he had entered through the east gate.
His eyes darted rapidly, scanning the positions of the surrounding fishmen.
Once he confirmed they were all within his field of vision, Will suddenly raised his leg high and slammed it down with tremendous force!
Iron Block: Earth Splitter!
Boom—!
With a deafening crack, the ground beneath Will's feet shattered violently!
The force spread like a landslide, rapidly extending toward the feet of the surrounding fishmen.
Panicked, the fishmen scrambled to dodge, but most of them still fell into the cracks, unable to move.
Seizing the opportunity, Will charged into the crowd of fishmen, unleashing a massacre.
Blood, severed arms, and shattered teeth flew in all directions.
Yet, Will moved through the chaos with ease, not a single drop of filth staining him.
Meanwhile, on the wall surrounding the courtyard, two pairs of wide eyes watched the horrifying scene in stunned silence.
"Nami, I feel like... our earlier worries might have been unnecessary..."
Carina murmured in shock, her voice barely audible.
"Yeah... I think so too..." Nami's expression was complex.
As she watched Will slaughter the fishmen, she couldn't help but feel a hint of satisfaction.
In truth, the two had arrived shortly after Will had instantly killed Octopus Hachi.
But after witnessing Will's overwhelming power, Nami and Carina had been so stunned that they forgot to climb down from the wall, simply watching in secret.
Bang—!
A sudden crashing sound came from the direction of the tower.
Will dropped the lifeless fishman in his hand and turned his gaze toward the source of the noise.
Arlong, having punched through the tower wall with one hand, pulled out a serrated machete.
Without hesitation, he leaped high into the air, raising the machete with both hands and bringing it down straight toward Will's head.
"Die!"
Seeing Arlong's furious attack, Will sidestepped effortlessly, dodging the blow.
Clang—!
The sharp blade of the machete slammed into the ground, creating several craters.
Arlong, realizing his attack had missed, yanked the machete out and swung it horizontally at Will.
Will remained expressionless, catching the blade with his bare hands and giving it a slight twist.
Snap—!
With a crisp sound, the machete broke into two pieces.
Witnessing this shocking scene, Arlong's pupils contracted sharply.
He quickly gripped the remaining half of the machete and leaped back, landing near the pool.
Once steady, Arlong glanced at the broken blade in his hand, his expression filled with disbelief.
He tossed the shattered weapon aside and growled in a low, menacing voice:
"Damn human! Inferior race!"
"It seems I've been too lenient. After I deal with you, I'll destroy every human village in the area!"
"Destroy them all?" Will's expression darkened, his tone icy. "You mean you plan to slaughter all the humans nearby?"
He raised an eyebrow, his voice as cold as a winter breeze:
"I advise you to watch your words. Such arrogance only makes you appear weak."
"What did you say? Weak?!"
Arlong, enraged beyond measure, bellowed furiously:
"You have no idea! The power we fishmen possess is beyond your comprehension!"
"Oh?" Will's expression remained calm, but a faint smile appeared on his lips. "Power, you say?"
"How laughable."
"Let me show you what true power is."
As he spoke, Will's figure vanished from sight.
"It's something like this!"
In the next moment, Will reappeared right in front of Arlong, his right fist shooting forward like a thunderbolt!
Iron Block: Shave: Lightning Flash!
With the momentum of his high-speed movement, Will's fist, hard as steel, struck Arlong's mouth in an instant!
Boom—!!
A sickening, dull impact echoed through the air.
Arlong's face caved in, his head snapping back from the force. His teeth shattered, and his nasal bone snapped cleanly.
He was sent flying, crashing into the pool with a splash.
The water slowed his momentum, but he still hit the bottom of the pool with considerable force, blood gushing from his mouth.
Will stood calmly on the shore, watching the rippling surface of the pool.
Suddenly, his eyes flickered, and he sidestepped.
Whoosh—!
A figure shot out of the water like an arrow, narrowly missing Will and slamming into the tower behind him.
Crash—!
The already crumbling tower finally gave way, collapsing under the impact.
Amid the dust and debris, Arlong stood up, his teeth shattered and his nose forcibly straightened. His eyes burned with rage as he glared down from the ruins of the tower.
He reached up and ripped out his broken teeth, a new set of sharper fangs quickly growing in their place.
But Arlong didn't relax.
His head was still spinning from the earlier blow. If it hadn't been for the water helping him regain some clarity, he might have lost consciousness entirely.
After catching his breath, Arlong snarled at Will:
"Damn you... just who the hell are you!"
"How can there be someone as strong as you in the East Blue!"
Though unwilling to admit it, Arlong knew deep down that he stood no chance against this opponent. A sense of despair began to creep into his heart.
"Strong?" Will's expression remained unchanged, his voice calm.
"I'm just an ordinary human, nothing more."
