Chapter 61: Chapter 61
Akainu took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down.
Just as he was about to speak, he heard Caesar's impatient voice from the other side.
"What the hell do you want? Spit it out already. I'm about to go out and have some fun. How can a Fleet Admiral be so damn slow? I heard you're a Magma Fruit user—shouldn't you be hot-tempered? Why the hell are you acting like some timid ninja now?"
Akainu gritted his teeth, steam practically rising from his head as he seethed with rage.
Caesar wasn't wrong.
Ever since he took on this godforsaken position as Fleet Admiral, he'd been trapped in his office, drowning in piles of bureaucratic nonsense.
Gone were the days of freedom—when he could just sail out to hunt pirates or pick fights with whoever he pleased.
Who would dare defy Akainu authority? Did they have a death wish?
But after becoming Fleet Admiral, Akainu realized that now, anyone could spit in his face.
The Five Elders summoned him to Mariejois whenever they needed a punching bag.
Sengoku and Garp never treated him as Fleet Admiral, always mocking him.
Fujitora outright ignored him and constantly opposed him.
Even Rob Lucci, the pigeon man standing in his office right now, had no respect for his authority.
"Caesar!" Akainu forced the words through clenched teeth, barely suppressing his killing intent.
"I want to ask—are there any remains of Sengoku left? If so, return them to the Marines. We'll owe you a favor."
"A favor? Don't make me laugh. I'm a notorious pirate—what the hell would I do with a favor from the 'righteous' Marines? What a joke. But yeah, that old man Sengoku—even though he blew himself up, his bones were tough enough to survive. I don't mind giving them back. I've got nothing but respect for the old bastard. Wouldn't dream of desecrating him."
A sudden rustle filled the office as several people stood up abruptly.
Garp clenched his fists, his expression a mix of fury and grief.
Tsuru patted his arm gently. "Calm down, Garp. The most important thing now is bringing Sengoku remains home—back to Marineford."
"I know..." Garp rasped, his voice hoarse.
Everyone's eyes locked onto the Den Den Mushi in front of Akainu, silently urging him to continue negotiations.
"Name your terms, Caesar" Akainu growled.

On Whole Cake Island, a strange grin spread across Caesar's face.
"Hand over Shiki, Wang Zhi and Bullet to me."
Pfft.
Linlin couldn't help but laugh, casting a sultry glance at Caesar.
"Oh, you're just terrible."

Back in the Fleet Admiral's office, silence fell after Caesar demand.
After a long pause, Akainu slammed his fist on the desk and roared.
"Caesar! What the hell kind of joke is this?! Shiki escaped Impel Down over twenty years ago—no one even knows if he's still alive! Wang Zhi, that cold-blooded bastard, vanished after the God Valley battle. just like you! And Bullet? Who the hell knows where he's hiding?! You want me to hand over these three? Are you out of your damn mind?!"
"Borororo! Don't get so worked up—just a little joke" came Caesar infuriating laughter.
"How can you joke about something like this? Caesar, listen to me clearly. I'll be blunt—the Marine needs to retrieve Sengoku's remains. This is non-negotiable. Right now, we're calmly discussing terms with you. As long as your demands aren't excessive, we can consider them. But if you continue being unreasonable, we'll resort to the most direct method—war!"
Akainu roared, his voice seething with fury.
On the other end of the Den Den Mushi, Caesar's grin vanished, replaced by an icy tone.
"War? Borororo! Then bring it on! I've been waiting for this! Who the hell gave you the right to slap some bullshit 'Yonko' title on me? I am Emperor Caesar, Beast God Caesar! Not 'Yonko Caesar'—I will be the one and only Emperor! Bark all you want, mutt. Keep it up, and I'll sell that old bastard Sengoku's bones to the Revolutionary Army!"
"CAESAR!"
Garp suddenly roared, startling everyone in the office.
He snatched the Den Den Mushi from Akainu and spoke in a hoarse, solemn voice.
"Caesar, for my sake, return Sengoku remains to us."
There was a brief silence on the other end before Caesar responded.
"Fine. You're one of the few old acquaintances left, Garp. When do we get to fight again?"
Garp cracked a smile. "Anytime you're ready."
"Alright then. My little brother tells me you've captured one of his business partners—some kid named Donquixote Doflamingo. He's quite capable, a real talent at managing power. I need him. Also, deliver the Germa 66 and Vinsmoke Sanji to Totto Land. That's all. One Fleet Admiral in exchange for a few pawns—still a good deal."
At the mention of Doflamingo, Rob Lucci who had remained silent until now, tensed, his pupils contracting.
He opened his mouth to speak, but Kizaru terrifying glare locked onto him, sending a chill down his spine.
"Whatever you're about to say—shut it. Or I won't mind if the Celestial Dragons lose one of their prized hounds" Kizaru said coldly, his voice like the abyss of hell.
"No problem! We accept! How about this—three days from now, we'll make the exchange in Totto Land waters. Does that work for you, Caesar?"
Garp agreed without hesitation.
In Garp's eyes, Doflamingo and Germa meant nothing.
The only name that gave him pause was Sanji—he knew this man was one of Luffy crew members.
But when it came to retrieving Sengoku's remains, Garp didn't hesitate to sacrifice his grandson comrade.
After all, he was still a pirate.
Ever since Sengoku died at Caesar's hands, Garp's mindset had shifted drastically.
Even the usually laid-back Kizaru had grown more serious, his attitude toward pirates aligning closer with Akainu.
Even if his grandson was now a pirate, it didn't lessen Garp's current hatred and bloodlust toward them.
"Fine."
With just that one word, Caesar ended the call.
In the office, Garp directly bypassed Akainu and ordered.
"Fujitora, you go to Dressrosa and bring Vinsmoke Sanji here. Sakazuki, have your subordinates send up the location of the Germa 66 base and dispatch forces to suppress and capture them. This must be completed within two days! I'll personally go to Impel Down to retrieve Donquixote Doflamingo!"
"Rest assured, I will definitely bring this man back!" Fujitora said solemnly.
"I'll handle the capture of Germa" Kizaru spoke up in a deep voice.
Garp gave him a long look and nodded.
Just like that, the Marine's top officers assigned their tasks without even sparing a glance at the CP0 Rob Lucci.
Rob Lucci left the office alone with a dark expression, his brows furrowed as he pondered one thing.
"Donquixote Doflamingo was once a Celestial Dragon. He holds many of their secrets. Handing him over to that Caesar is far too dangerous. I must inform the Five Elders and let them decide."
