One Piece: Flirty System

Chapter 17: Chapter 17: Furious Nami and Lynn’s Dream

The boat had only been sailing a short while when Nami caught a glimpse of the treasure bag out of the corner of her eye—and immediately sensed something was wrong.

Why was there only one bag? Where was the other one?

Noticing Nami's suspicion, Luffy asked, "What's wrong, Nami?"

Nami exclaimed, "There were two bags of treasure! Why is one missing?"

Lynn casually scratched his ear and replied, "I returned one bag to the villagers."

"That's mine!" Nami snapped angrily.

Lynn sneered, "That's the townspeople's hard-earned money. Yours? How shameless…"

Before he could finish, Nami shoved him hard—sending Lynn tumbling into the sea.

"Stop it! Do you want to drown me? We're partners!" Lynn shouted.

"Partners? Ha! I'll drown you right now!" Nami shot back, seething.

Luffy quickly chimed in, "Nami, since you like it so much, let's go back and get it—"

Before he could finish, Nami dragged him into the water as well.

"I can't swim! I'll die! It wasn't me who did it—let go!" Luffy spluttered.

Nami sneered, "You're going down because you can't swim. You're his captain, so you can't let him get away with things!"

Zoro watched the two embarrassed men with delight, holding his stomach as he laughed.

After venting her anger for a while, Nami finally let Lynn and Luffy back on the boat.

Lynn immediately bought a mirror and comb from the system, fixing his soaked, messy hair.

Zoro looked on curiously. "Lynn, what are you doing?"

Lynn replied seriously, "A man's hairstyle is his soul. Back home, we say the head can be cut off and the blood can flow, but the hairstyle must never be messed up. Understand?"

"Tsk…" Zoro muttered, turning his back, "Boring. What a waste of time."

Nami twitched an eyebrow, unimpressed.

But Luffy, sporting a cool 4:6 hairstyle, grinned. "Is this the romance of men? Lynn, give me a hairstyle too!"

Though Zoro complained, he couldn't help sneaking glances.

Lynn soon changed his own 4:6 style into a slicked-back look on Luffy and pulled out two pairs of sunglasses from the system space.

The two linked arms, shouting in unison, "Romance! Romance!"

"Bam, Bam…"

Nami shot them an angry glare. "Are you trying to capsize the boat?"

Zoro, clutching his stomach laughing, quickly shut up when Nami glared at him.

Nami, that bitch, kept messing up his freshly done hairstyle!

What can a gentleman endure, and what cannot he endure?

Lynn was not happy. He stood up, pointed at Nami angrily, and growled, "Don't think I won't hit you just because you're a woman. When I get mad, I scare myself. You—"

"Can you try moving again?"

"Will you move again?"

"Don't hit my face!"

Nami clapped her hands and raised an eyebrow at Luffy, who quickly pouted and looked toward the horizon.

Zoro, still laughing, imitated him immediately.

After a while, Lynn forgot his pain and went up to Nami, putting his arm around her shoulder.

"Nami, how long until we reach the next island?"

Nami glanced at him. "Let go."

Lynn quickly withdrew his hand and scratched his head. "I can't help it. Who made you have such a good figure?"

Luffy teased, "Pervert."

Zoro added, "How shameful."

Lynn snapped, "And you two bastards—one's a foodie and the other a drunkard!"

"What did you say?"

Lynn pulled up his sleeves. "You want to fight? Careful or I'll beat you so badly you'll cry for your mother!"

Zoro nodded with a smirk. "Hey, just now someone begged for mercy after being beaten to death."

Opening old wounds?

Lynn shot back angrily, "What did you say?"

Nami stepped between them. "Stop arguing. It'll take about half a day to get there. If we find the navigator then, our agreement is complete."

Hearing this, the three fell silent.

Seizing the moment, Lynn hugged Nami's waist and wailed, "Nami, will you be our navigator? If I don't see you every day, my life feels hopeless!"

Zoro rolled his eyes. "Hey, your crying is too fake."

Lynn quickly scowled. "None of your business. Go play somewhere else!"

Then he turned back, sobbing dramatically. "Nami, ever since I met you, I can't bear to leave you. We're like Ximen Qing meeting Pan Jinlian, or Tang Sanzang meeting the spider spirit…"

Lynn hated himself for forgetting all the smooth talk from his past life. At a critical moment, he just didn't know what to say!

Nami looked down on his pitiful performance and teased, "Anything else? Keep going, I'm listening."

"Pah…" Zoro turned away, speechless. "What a mess."

But Luffy's eyes sparkled. "Sugoi! Sugoi!"

Seeing Nami's sharp gaze, Lynn quickly let go and looked up at the sky.

"Ah, the sky is so blue today… Ah, the sea is all water… Ah…"

Nami snapped, "What are you babbling about? Are you done? Keep this up and I'll throw you in the sea!"

Half a day to pass, and how could Lynn resist joking?

Bored, he leaned aside and fell asleep.

In the dream:

In a bustling execution square, people whispered—

"How could such a powerful man be caught by the navy?"

"Yeah, that's a shame. I wonder where the Pirate King's treasure is."

"If we find it, we won't worry about anything again."

"I heard he was captured by Fire Fist Ace. They fought for ten days and nights, but Ace had the upper hand."

"The Marine hero, Fire Fist Ace..."

Lynn, standing in the square, was confused. Navy hero Fire Fist Ace? This is such a rip-off!

Following the crowd's gaze to the execution platform, Lynn exclaimed: Isn't that Blackbeard… Teach?

Such a rip-off!

As the execution approached, silence fell over the square. People stared at Blackbeard.

Suddenly, someone called out, "Pirate King, where is your treasure? The legendary One Piece?"

On the platform, Blackbeard smirked and proudly declared:

"Hahahaha… hahahahaha… hahahahahaha… Want Nami's photo? Want Robin's stockings? Want the Empress' lace? Go ahead, I'll put it all there."

"Ouch…"

Lynn woke from the dream, laughing to himself.

This is such a rip-off!
