Ninja World Live: The Ninja Rabbit I Found Was Actually Kaguya

Chapter 25: CHAPTER 25:Izuna Is Shocked, Uchiha Doesn’t Have Hokage

When Terumi Mei mastered the Isshin dual-purpose technique and began to move out, it was on the sea near the Land of Waves.

Kakashi stood at the front of the group, his gaze solemn and sharp.

He had realized he might've overdone it.

After using Chidori to shatter Zabuza's executioner blade, a thick mist rolled in.

It wasn't just natural fog—this one emerged from the sea's surface and quickly swallowed up the entire field of vision, cloaking everything in obscurity.

Kakashi channeled chakra to the soles of his feet, stepping lightly onto the water's surface. He held the broken half of the executioner's blade, his eyes scanning, his expression alert.

His chakra reserves were already cut down—he'd expended a quarter of it with one Chidori. Regular kunai couldn't block the incoming attack, which was why he'd been forced to use that high-consumption move in the first place.

Now this mist appeared—it clearly wasn't just weather. It had to be the Hidden Mist's famous technique, the Kirigakure no Jutsu.

"So much fog," Naruto muttered. "I can barely see anything."

Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "Sharingan."

His black pupils turned blood red. A single tomoe spun into place.

"The Sharingan is the Uchiha clan's kekkei genkai," Sasuke explained calmly, as if teaching Naruto and Kitahara Hitoshi something for the first time. "One of the most powerful dōjutsu in the shinobi world."

"It allows me to see through illusions, ninjutsu, and even taijutsu. I can analyze and replicate movements almost instantly."

He tilted his head slightly. "This mist... it's Kirigakure ninjutsu, no doubt. But..."

"As long as I can find the opponent's chakra signature... got it!"

"Kakashi-sensei! Your left waist! Something's coming!"

Kakashi's body tensed. Trusting Sasuke's words, he spun to his left, raising the broken executioner blade to block.

At the same time, his right hand flicked two kunai out like lightning, a reaction honed by years of battlefield instinct.

Sparks burst at his right shoulder.

A shadow struck from the left—just a water clone.

The real Zabuza attacked from the right.

Sasuke had misread it.

If Kakashi hadn't reacted in time, Zabuza's blade would've torn into him.

Sasuke gritted his teeth. "Sorry..."

He hadn't had much time to train with the Sharingan back in the village. He was still green with it.

Meanwhile, in a certain metaphysical corner where legendary shinobi could observe events like a ghostly chat group...

Tobirama frowned.

"I can't watch this anymore," he muttered. "This Uchiha brat... how is he so sloppy?"

"Was I ever like that?" he scoffed.

Senju Tobirama replied to himself, almost smirking, "You looked like him when you were a kid."

"Don't insult me," Tobirama growled. "I was a genius. This kid's a clown."

Big Pillar Hanhan—none other than Hashirama—cut in cheerfully, "Alright, alright, no fighting. It's been a while since the three of us have been online together."

"I don't care about that," Tobirama said. "I just want my big brother to show up."

Senju Tobirama raised a brow. "Your elder brother? You mean Madara? The Uchiha who turned rogue and nearly destroyed Konoha a bunch of times?"

Tobirama stiffened.

"This... what does that have to do with me?"

Senju Tobirama kept talking. "Nothing. Just making conversation."

"You're trying to manipulate me into fighting Madara again, aren't you?"

No response.

Because yes, Tobirama absolutely was planning something like that.

They were all dead now, sure, but that didn't mean they were powerless.

His forbidden technique research had already borne fruit.

Impure World Reincarnation.

He could bring back the dead.

And if Uchiha Madara ever returned, maybe he could summon Izuna and manipulate him into fighting Madara.

If he pulled that off, he figured there was a seventy percent success rate.

That was good enough for him.

Then Izuna, who'd been silent, suddenly shouted.

"Wait! This guy called Kakashi has a Sharingan?"

His attention snapped to the screen as Kakashi lifted his forehead protector, revealing his left eye.

It wasn't just a basic Sharingan.

It was a Mangekyō Sharingan.

Izuna was stunned. "Is Kakashi... a member of the Uchiha clan?"

Tobirama narrowed his eyes. "Interesting. He's called the Sixth Hokage in this era. Looks like the Uchiha finally produced something solid."

Then he laughed coldly. "Hmph. Uchiha really are strong, aren't they?"

Hashirama stayed quiet.

Tobirama was already smirking.

But Namikaze Minato chimed in calmly. "No. Kakashi isn't from the Uchiha clan."

Tobirama blinked. "What?"

Minato continued, "Kakashi received that Sharingan from my disciple, Uchiha Obito. Obito gave it to him before he was crushed in a rockfall during a mission."

Tobirama's smirk faded.

"...So my Uchiha clan doesn't even have a Hokage?"

Minato gave a slow sigh. "No. They never did."

Tobirama clenched his jaw. "Hokage. That word literally implies fire. And Uchiha are born with Fire Release affinity!"

Minato didn't answer.

Senju Tobirama did.

"Take a good look. Maybe ask your clan why."

Tobirama fell silent again.

He was truly baffled.

It made sense that Sarutobi Hiruzen would assign Kakashi to guide Naruto.

But why Sasuke?

Sure, Naruto was the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails.

But Sasuke?

His talent, back then, was barely passable.

So the question lingered—was there really no one left in the Uchiha clan?

Was this the best they had?
