Naruto: Zanka No Tachi

As Yusuke defeated Nagato, the battles within Konoha were nearing their end. Konoha's Military Police and Anbu, prepared for contingencies and equipped with new tools from the Research Institute, quickly suppressed the Sunagakure ninjas, White Zetsu, and summoned creatures. Eliminating them was just a matter of time.

"I finally got to use this new chakra blade. It's powerful; Sunagakure ninjas trying to block with kunai were cut in two,"

"These explosive tags are amazing too. A summoned creature as tall as a building was blown to bits. I got lightly injured by the blast,"

"Once this is over, we'll show Sunagakure what we're capable of,"

Konoha's ninjas cleaned up the mess, experiencing the Research Institute's impact on combat.

Meanwhile, three groups of intruders infiltrated the Research Institute.

"Perfect! Konoha's under attack by Sunagakure and some unknown organization. Time to steal the Research Institute's data!" a sinister-looking middle-aged ninja exclaimed.

This was Akahoshi, the Fourth Hoshikage of Hoshigakure. He was ambitious but lacked talent; even with Hoshigakure's treasure, the "Star," and the "Mysterious Peacock Method" training, he was only an elite jōnin.

The Third Hoshikage discovered that while the Star activated chakra, making "Mysterious Peacock Method" training easier, it severely damaged the body, shortening the lifespan of those who used it. He banned its use and had a couple secretly leave with it.

Akahoshi, then a jōnin, tried to convince the Third Hoshikage but failed. He killed the Third Hoshikage, becoming the Fourth, and labeled the couple as missing-nin, hoping to recover the Star.

Upon learning of Konoha's Research Institute and its advanced techniques and forbidden jutsu, Akahoshi decided to infiltrate Konoha and steal the data. He even went himself!

"Once this succeeds, the village will be stronger, and I'll be the strongest Hoshikage, maybe even the sixth Kage!"

Thinking of the potential rewards, Akahoshi laughed.

"Hoshikage-sama, what's so funny?" a Hoshigakure jōnin asked, seeing Akahoshi laughing.

"Ah? Nothing. You must be mistaken," Akahoshi said, scolding himself for being careless.

As six Hoshigakure ninjas entered the Research Institute, Kabuto, stationed there, detected them through the barrier.

"Continue the experiment. Some…rats got in. I'll handle them," Kabuto told Dr. Akasaka.

He initially thought it was one group, but the barrier detected three.

Dr. Akasaka said questioningly, "Isn't there the Director's barrier? Intruders are killed. Why are you going?"

Kabuto smiled, "Since becoming Vice-Director, I haven't fought much, except sparring with Itachi and Izumi. I won't miss this."

Dr. Akasaka shook his head, "Fighting is meaningless. Scientific truth is more important. Especially immortal Hidan-kun! I love him!"

He returned to the operating table, his eyes shining with fanaticism, like a man seeing a naked woman.

"No!!! You bastard! It's my day off!!!"

Hidan cried. Yusuke, humanely, gave Hidan eight-hour workdays, with weekends and holidays off. But Dr. Akasaka couldn't leave Hidan; he was perfect for experiments.

Dr. Akasaka became Hidan's nightmare. Kabuto shrugged and left the lab, heading towards the intruders.

"Damn it! We're trapped in a barrier!"

After exploring the Research Institute's first floor, Akahoshi said gravely. The Hoshigakure ninjas panicked. If the chaos ended, and they were still there, they'd be caught.

"Natsuhi, you're our best with barriers and sealing jutsu. Did you find anything?" Akahoshi asked another ninja.

Natsuhi shook her head, "The barrier is too advanced. I found nothing."

As they were at a loss, footsteps approached. A young man with white hair, black glasses, and a black coat appeared. He looked like a researcher, not a fighter.

"Who are you?" Akahoshi asked.

"I'm Kabuto Yakushi, Vice-Director of the Konoha Research Institute. Welcome," Kabuto smiled.

"You're Uchiha Yusuke's researcher student? They say you're the weakest fighter among his students,"

Akahoshi relaxed upon hearing it was Kabuto. Seeing Kabuto silent, Akahoshi smirked, "Give me the data, and I'll let you live. Otherwise…"
