Chapter 104: Chapter 104: Peacock Art
Extra Chapter~
"What?"
"Tsunade-sama's students?"
For a moment, both Natsuhi and Hotarubi were taken aback.
They stared in disbelief at Kiyoshi and Karin.
Karin could only look at Kiyoshi in exasperation, not expecting him to come right out and demand their village's secret techniques.
"Is that even possible?"
"Young man, are you serious?" Natsuhi asked, visibly excited. "Are you truly a disciple of Lady Tsunade?"
"Ahem… Natsuhi, be cautious." Hotarubi interjected, his face full of suspicion.
Their opponents had immediately asked for the secret techniques of Hoshigakure, which made him wary.
"No doubt about it," Kiyoshi shrugged.
He stretched out his right hand, and a gentle, glowing light appeared in his palm.
"Is that… Mystical Palm Jutsu?" Natsuhi was shocked.
Having learned some basic medical techniques to ease her husband's pain, she could recognize this high-level medical jutsu as an advanced A-rank skill.
Kiyoshi could wield it without even forming hand seals—it was truly astonishing.
"May I ask for your name?" Natsuhi asked, deeply impressed.
"Ishikawa Kiyoshi." Kiyoshi answered without hesitation.
"Alright, no need for such caution." Kiyoshi added casually. "If I wanted to take you both down, it would be easy."
In his palm, chakra began to condense visibly, taking the shape of a massive chakra sphere that continued to morph.
In a flash, countless wind blades spun wildly within it, forming a gigantic shuriken.
Natsuhi and Hotarubi's hearts skipped a beat, their skin tingling with tension.
"Is that… a Rasengan?" Even Karin, witnessing it for the first time, was wide-eyed. "And he's infused it with wind nature transformation, compressing chakra to such an extent."
Over the past two years, Kiyoshi had mainly trained powerful jutsus in the secluded space of the Netherworld.
Karin knew his strength well, along with his mastery of various elemental jutsus, but she'd only seen him use the standard Rasengan.
Seeing Jiraiya's Giant Rasengan, the other day had already surprised her.
She never anticipated that Kiyoshi could, with such ease, create a technique even more fearsome than the Giant Rasengan!
His chakra control was simply mind-blowing.
Undoubtedly, this was an S-rank forbidden jutsu. One could only imagine the level of destruction it could unleash if fully activated.
As Natsuhi and Hotarubi's expressions shifted with a mix of awe and alarm, the enormous swirling shuriken in Kiyoshi's hand dissipated right before their eyes.
"Gulp."
Natsuhi and Hotarubi exchanged glances, seeing the same shock mirrored in each other's eyes.
This young man wielded strength that far exceeded his age. What an astonishing level of chakra control.
Most shinobi might barely manage to keep such a technique under control, but Kiyoshi had dismissed it effortlessly, letting it vanish without a trace.
"As expected of Tsunade-sama's disciple… truly terrifying," Natsuhi sighed. Her earlier doubts now seemed foolish, only someone of such lineage could produce a disciple this formidable.
"It's no wonder the great shinobi villages are on a different level from us," she thought, feeling bitterly aware of her village's limitations.
"So, what do you think?" Kiyoshi asked, smiling. "Shall we make a deal?"
"Sorry, but even so, we can't just hand over Hoshigakure's secret techniques." Hotarubi replied firmly, though he was barely holding back the pain in his body.
The Peacock Art required their village's celestial artifact, the "Star," a strange meteorite that had fallen from outer space two hundred years ago, to use.
There was no way they could easily disclose such a technique to an outsider.
"No, we agree to it." Natsuhi interrupted, clenching her teeth.
She looked at Kiyoshi with a determined gaze. "If you can cure him, I'll hand over the training method for the Peacock Art. But I can't promise you'll even want it by then."
"Besides, I must warn you, this technique has severe side effects. Hotarubi's condition is due to practicing the Peacock Art."
In her mind, without the "Star," it would be impossible for Kiyoshi to master the Peacock Art.
And even with the "Star," the side effects were immense. She was confident Kiyoshi would ultimately decide against pursuing it.
"Natsuhi." Hotarubi glanced at her, understanding her intent and sighing.
If survival were possible, who would willingly resign themselves to death? They had no choice but to hope this young man's medical prowess could work a miracle.
If he couldn't save them, then only the medical sage herself might have a chance.
---
As the sun set and dusk settled in, the Wood-Style helicopter continued its flight.
Under Kiyoshi's expert medical skill, a few hours of treatment later, not only Hotarubi but even Natsuhi, who had been slightly affected by the Star's chakra, had both received full treatment and were recovering well.
Karin, assisting from the sidelines, took the opportunity to learn from Kiyoshi and found herself gaining a lot.
"Thank you so much, Lord Kiyoshi."
"You're truly as remarkable as they say of the Sannin's students." the couple said, gazing at him in amazement.
Their bodies felt extraordinarily light, entirely free of the pain they had endured.
Karin stood nearby, proud and smiling at her mentor's accomplishments.
"This was just a transaction, no need to thank me," Kiyoshi said nonchalantly.
Despite the hours of surgery, Kiyoshi showed no sign of fatigue. Instead, he took a seat and began reading the scroll containing the Peacock Art he had obtained from Natsuhi.
Without looking up, he added, "Whatever you do, don't use the 'Star' for training again."
"Otherwise, even though you're healed now, that radioactive substance will start affecting you again."
As for the "Star," which had initially sparked Kiyoshi's interest, his curiosity faded as he treated the couple.
He had already deduced the principles of the Peacock Art Techniques and chakra activation through them and found no connection to the Ten Tails.
It was simply a unique, radioactive meteorite with chakra—no great value.
In fact, thanks to the chakra he absorbed during the treatment from both Hotarubi and Natsuhi, he could simulate the "Star" chakra using his own, free of any harmful effects.
After a short while—
Under the astonished gazes of Karin, Hotarubi, and Natsuhi, Kiyoshi set down the scroll.
With his fingers raised in front of him, he released chakra so powerful that it manifested behind him like a peacock spreading its feathers.
"Peacock Art: Feathered Beast."
Under his precise control and to avoid damaging the Wood-Style helicopter, he created a lifelike, roaring chakra beast just over two meters tall.
Unlike Hotarubi and Natsuhi's Peacock Art, Kiyoshi's version was formed entirely with pure blue chakra, making it look even more impressive.
They watched, stunned.
