"Konan… she actually has that kind of power..."

Tobi, wearing his tiger-striped mask, looked solemnly at the battlefield around them.

He hadn't expected it. Konan, who had always played the role of Tendo Pain's quiet partner, had shown a terrifying side when serious.

Over ten million explosive tags… even he felt fear upon seeing it.

"But that guy… took the full blast of over ten million explosive tags and walked out unscathed..."

Tobi's gaze shifted to Naruto.

Seeing both Pain and Tobi arrive, Konan quickly recomposed herself and bit her lip as she said coldly:

"I'm not hurt. But that guy's no pushover. Be careful—he can ignore physical attacks."

Pain and Tobi both nodded.

Pain then turned his cold gaze toward Konan.

"If you weren't hurt, then why did you lose control just now? If I hadn't arrived in time, you would've been seriously injured."

At those words, Konan's cheeks flushed red.

There was no way she could say what really happened, so she brushed it off coldly:

"He nearly got me just now. That's why I got angry. Pain, help me finish him off."

Pain nodded silently.

Without another word, Pain extended his right hand toward Naruto and said coldly:

He had a body forged by pirate training, strong enough to match Manda in raw power.

Yet under Pain's pull, even that strength was being dragged forward.

Seeing that Naruto was being slowly reeled in, Tobi stepped forward with his blade in hand.

Naruto smirked when he saw this.

He simply stopped resisting and let the gravitational pull bring him closer.

As he was pulled through the air, blazing fire erupted on his hands.

It gathered and condensed into two fiery spears.

Just as he neared Tobi, the masked man slashed at Naruto's neck with his blade.

The silver blade sliced clean across his throat.

But Tobi didn't let his guard down—he stepped back and watched solemnly as fire erupted from Naruto's neck.

"Just as I thought… immune to physical attacks..."

He had seen it clearly. His blade had sliced through Naruto's throat.

But the flames immediately surged and re-formed his head as if it had never been wounded.

"He can turn his body into fire. It's similar to the Hydrification Technique of the Hozuki Clan from Kirigakure... Which means the counter is Water Release ninjutsu."

"No… Yin-Yang Release and my Sharingan might work too..."

As Tobi pondered, Naruto had already been pulled in front of Pain.

"Shinka: Shiranui!" (Divine Flame: Unknown Fire)

Naruto used the force of the pull to hurl his flaming spears straight at Pain's chest.

Though the spears were destroyed, the erupting flames blazed fiercely.

Naruto slammed both hands onto the ground. A sea of flames erupted upward like a tsunami, colliding head-on with the white shockwave.

From afar, it looked like fire and light were locked in a vicious battle.

"This guy…" Pain's brows furrowed. He stared seriously at the golden-haired youth before him.

"He can actually withstand my Shinra Tensei..."

He remembered the time he tried recruiting Orochimaru—he'd fought him once.

And yet, that cold serpent—an S-rank rogue ninja—was crushed under Shinra Tensei without a chance to fight back.

"This guy is stronger than Orochimaru..."

His eyes darkened. He was preparing to summon the other Paths of Pain.

But at that moment, Naruto smiled and took a step back.

"Let's leave it at that for today. I wasn't here to fight you anyway. I look forward to our next meeting."

As he spoke, a space-time portal opened behind him.

"What!?"

Tobi's eyes narrowed as he stared at the portal behind Naruto in disbelief.

With his Kamui-based Sharingan, he could immediately tell—this was space-time ninjutsu.

"But it's not Hiraishin no Jutsu… and not any space jutsu I recognize…"

Tobi quickly assessed it and said coldly:

"Pain, don't let him escape. Keep him here!"

Space-time users were the most dangerous—able to defeat stronger enemies with clever movement and ambush.

He himself had used Kamui to kill the Yellow Flash of Konoha, Minato, at just fourteen.

Seeing Naruto use such jutsu, he immediately recognized how dangerous this boy could be.

"I know!"

Pain responded coolly, then extended his hand again.

"Banshō Ten'in!"

This time he used even more chakra. The gravitational force was overwhelming.

Naruto had already stepped halfway into the portal, but the pull dragged him right back out.

Pain now held a black rod in his hand—a creation of the Rinnegan's Yin-Yang Release. It could seal and kill any target, no matter how strange their abilities.

"Tch… won't even let me leave..."

Naruto's eyes narrowed coldly. Then, he made his choice.

"Dai Enkai!" (Great Flame Ring)

Violent fire exploded beneath his feet, expanding outward like a burning ring when seen from above.

Under Pain and Tobi's tense gazes, the flames began consuming half of the Uchiha compound.

Half the district was engulfed in a raging sea of fire.

As the fire approached Tendo Pain—

Naruto raised his right hand toward the sky and said coldly:

"Dai Enkai: Entei!" (Great Flame Ring: Flame Emperor)

In that instant, all the flames that had consumed half the Uchiha compound surged and gathered toward his raised hand.

What formed… was a colossal, blazing fireball.

From afar, it looked as if the golden-haired youth was holding the sun itself.

At the same time—

Outside the Uchiha compound.

A Root ninja rushed to Danzo's side.

"Danzo-sama! The barrier can't hold. The heat and shockwaves inside are too strong. The formation is about to collapse."

Danzo's face turned grim as he looked up.

Sure enough…
