Naruto, The Perfect Shinobi

At about the same time;

In the Hokage's office, Hiruzen was drowning in his paperwork when a wave of familer chakra washed over him.

The Kyuubi's chakra. A chakra so menacing and potent that he didn't want to feel it again after the attack on the 10th of this month.

But here he is now feeling the same chakra again not two days later since then.

He stood up from his chair in alarm throwing away his Hokage robs revealing his battle attire underneath.

He disappeared through the open window of his office followed by his ANBU guard.

As he neared the source of the chakra he could see civilian, even some shinobi, running away from the source.

He could hear them screaming:

"Run away"

"Monster"

"The demon fox is back"

These frightened remarks made Hiruzen dread the severity of the situation.

When he reached the scene, he was met with a nightmarish view that can only be seen on the battlefield, not in the middle of a village.

There were countless bodies surrounding a small dome made of chains. It is a bloody scenes of mostly pierced bodies with a few being crushed or cut. Some bodies were headless with their severed heads nearby.

That was the scene that welcomed Hiruzen and the arriving shinobi.

About twenty meters away, he saw Naruto ,who looked like he is under the influence of the Kyuubi's chakra, his clothes and hands were drenched in blood with golden chakra chains with a red hue coming out of his back. He also had a bloodied standard short ninja sword in his right hand.

Some of the chains had shinobi impaled on them. Most of those shinobi seemed dead with the exception of two jonin.

One was impaled and coughing blood and the other is wrapped with chakra chains in front of Naruto shaking in uncontrollable fear.

The shinobi that just arrived started to step in to intervene only to be meet with a new stronger wave of Kyuubi's chakra coming from Naruto when he felt their intention. The chakra wave was so potent that it visualized a towering figure of a rage-filled roaring Kyuubi. This made the shinobi falter and step back unsure how to proceed.

Hiruzen felt that this bad situation may escalate to be even worse. So he shouted: "Stand down" to the shinobi.

He looked back at Naruto only to see that Naruto's blood red slitted eyes were now looking at him making a slight chill go through his spine.

Before he could say anything he saw Naruto walking towards the dome that was near him.

As Naruto walked to the dome, he let go of the bloodied sword in his hand and retracted his chains one by one making the dead shinobi fall on the ground. The alive but pierced jonin fell to the ground making him groan in pain as his wound started to bleed out quickly staining the ground.

The other jonin fell to his knees when the chains left him. He was the nearest to Naruto, so he felt the full backlash of the menacing properties of the Kyuubi's chakra. He was still shaking uncontrollably with a look of no small amount of fear and horror on his face.

Hiruzen watched as Naruto reached the dome that was breaking open. His Heart fell when he saw a clone of Naruto inside carrying a bloodied blanket that he knew it is Mito's.

The clone gave Mito to Naruto making the loosely held blanket fall down slightly showing a asleep and healthy baby.

Hiruzen sighed in relief that Mito was OK but his heart clenched when he saw Naruto hug Mito closely to his chest with his hair shadowing his eyes as streams of silent tears fall from them.

Hiruzen's mind worked overtime to asset the situation. From what he sees, Naruto and Mito seems to have been attacked first which caused Naruto to retaliate as even the jonin couldn't defend themselves in the presence of the Kyuubi's chakra. The kneeling jonin is still scared shitless. But the real question is How these people know that Naruto is the Kyuubi's Jinchuuriki? 

The fleeing people's screams indicate that this is a known fact.

Hiruzen's face turned to a looks of silent rage. This has Danzo's slimy fingerprints all over it.

"Dog." called Hiruzen. An Anbu with a dog face mask and silver hair appeared and kneeled in front of him.

"Take these two kids to the hospital to get checked and cleaned. Then get them new sets of clothing and bring them to my office. Protect them and don't let anybody near them. Understood?" ordered Hiruzen

"Yes, Hokage-sama." said Dog who then reached towards Naruto's shoulder and disappeared with the two children in a body flicker. 

Hiruzen then turned to his four Anbu guards and ordered: "One of you inform Hawk that I want to see the Anbu team he assigned to protect the two kids."

One of the Anbu guards nodded before disappearing in a body flicker.

" Also one of you take that jonin to IT. Tell Ibiki I want to know what happened here. Tell him he can do whatever he wants, He can ask one of the yamanaka to help him. Just make sure he gives me a report in an hour." orederd Hiruzen the remaining three while pointing at the still frightened but physically fine jonin. 

( IT stands for Interrogation and torture department)

One of the remaining Anbu nodded and took the jonin and left.

The Shinobi on the scene shivered. A one on one interrogation with Ibiki Morino as your interrogator is a hellish nightmare scenario. Many of them wouldn't even wish it on their enemies.

"You all clean up the scene. During that, investigate what happened and get eyewitnesses statements. I want that reported to me in an our." Hiruzen ordered the Shinobi on the scene before disappearing to his office in a body flicker. 

About an Hour later;

Inside the Hokage office, We see the recently arriving Ibiki and Hawk standing in front of Hiruzen who is sitting on his chair with a gloomy look on his face. Nearby, Naruto sat on a couch with his head down making his hair hide his face. He has washed off all the blood on him and had a new set of plain clothes on him. Mito is sleeping peacefully in his lap with Dog standing guard beside him.

"Tell me your report first, Ibiki." said Hiruzen.

Ibiki nodded before starting to read from a report he has: "From what we got from the jonin, The information about the red haired boy being the Jinchuuriki started spreading yesterday after night fall. Unfortunately I didn't know who spread the information. As for the attack, The mob started forming at about 2 in the afternoon. They looked for an opportunity to ambush him which they found when the boy was spotted entering and eating in the Ichiraku ramen stand."

Ibiki took a breath before continuing: "From the jonin's memories and Eyewitnesses statements, The mod cleared the street leading from the stand to the Hokage building. When the boy reached a pre-designated point the mob encircled him not giving he a way out. After some death threats and taunting, the Shinobi in the mob attacked the boy which seemed to surprise him greatly as it left him with no choice but to protect himself and the infant in his arms with his own body." 

there was a moment of intense silence before Ibiki continued: "The attack consisted of kunai and shuriken which caused injuries of various degrees on the boy but one seem to have nicked the infant in his arms making him yell in horror and form a dome around him of golden chains made of chakra. The mob tried to break the dome for a minute or two with no effect before the dome broke open outwards and showing a much smaller one and the boy who proceed to retaliate."

"What I can say about what happens next is that it is a burst of extreme but controlled rage. The boy while still under the influence of the Kyuubi's chakra showed control and extreme precision. His attacks with his fists and chains was precise, the chains, which gained a red hue struck at lethal body points like the heart, lungs, neck and spline while his hand showed monstrous strength completely bursting heads open and crushing ribcages inward upon impact. The boy even took a short standard sword from one of the fallen shinobi and used it with terrifying effectiveness. He either decapitated or gave lethal slashed to anyone his sword fell upon." said Ibiki summarizing the long report and giving it to Hiruzen.

The occupants of the room looked a Naruto with different emotion the most prominent being pity and wonder. 

Pity for being push to a degree were he had to kill to be safe at such a young age.

And wonder about the boy himself. who is he, where did he come from, and who trained him? 

If this is what he could do at eight years of age, what does the future hold for him?

"Any word from the Hospital?" asked Hiruzen after he finished reading Ibiki's report.

Dog was the one who answered: "The two kid are fine. Even though the boy's old clothes indicate otherwise he seemed to have healed very quickly. As for causalities from the mob, there were about 50 with 27 of them being killed. the fatalities are 11 civilians, 9 Genin, 6 Chunin and one jonin. The pierced jonin that was transferred to the hospital die shortly after his arrival. The medics told me that even though the injury shouldn't be fatal, they found out that a foreign potent and corrosive chakra entered his chakra network destroying his body from the inside before the medics even could try to help him. It indicates that it is the Kyuubi's chakra."

Hiruzen sighed and nodded at Dog before looking at hawk and asking: "Where is the Anbu team I told you to assign for the kids' safety?"

"Me and Several Anbu units couldn't find them Hokage-sama." said Hawk

"You won't find them" was heard before Hiruzen could as for an elaboration.

The room occupants looked at Naruto as he continued: " even if you find them, you will find there dead bodies."

This was the first time Naruto talked since the attack. 

"Why do you say that Naruto?" Hiruzen asked the question that was on everyone's mind

Naruto looked at Hiruzen for the first time since he was attacked making a heavy sadness appear in Hiruzen's heart.

The remaining amount of innocence and naivety that Naruto could retain from the Kyuubi attack was totally gone from his blue eyes. Now, his eyes gave the feeling of coldness and a sense of loss mixed with sadness. 

The attack on the eight year old boy along with his sister left a deep mental scar on the boy.

"When I left your office in the morning, I felt two groups of shinobi trailing us from the shadows. At first I didn't give it much thought thinking you assigned them to protect us. But the second group felt off to me as they don't give off any emotion at all." said Naruto in an emotionless voice sending a wave of shock across the room.

Hiruzen grinded his teeth against each other in anger. 'DANZO' roared Hiruzen angerly inside his mind.

He can see where this is going and he didn't like it one bit.

"You can feel emotions?" asked Ibiki intrigued.

Naruto looked at him and said: "Yes, I can feel emotions of every living being no matter how good their they can hide it. I can even feel the emotions of Hokage-sama, so i was very puzzled when i couldn't feel any emotions from those shinobi, who are very low in power scale compared to him."

"can you tell us what happened to those two groups of shinobi, Naruto?" Asked Hiruzen quite impatiently. Danzo is getting on his nerves hard.

Naruto returned his attention to Hiruzen before saying: "when i was encircled by the mob. I sensed that the emotionless group attacked the first group with killing intent. That was the only feeling I could get from them. The first group chakra signiures disappeared one by one like a flame going out. That only meant that they were killed"

As Naruto finished talking, a really uncomfortable silence fell on the room.

Before anyone could ay anything, a knock was heard at the door.

Hiruzen forced himself to calm down before saying: "come in"

His secretary appeared after opening the door.

"sorry to interrupt Hokage-sama, The village elders called for a council meeting and they requested your presence." said the secretary

"I will be their shortly. You are dismissed." said Hiruzen. 

The secretary bowed slightly before leaving an closing the door.

Hiruzen got up from his chair and looked at Hawk before saying: "write a report declaring that the missing Anbu team is KIA on a mission on the border. Then get as much Anbu teams who are available to be on stand by near the council room. It might get ugly." 

"yes, Hokage-sama" replied hawk before disappearing in a body flicker.

He then looked at Ibiki and said: "Thank you for your hard work Ibiki. You can return to your duties." making Ibiki nod and leave.

Hiruzen then turned towards Naruto and Dog: "Naruto, I will need you to come with me please. After what happened today I can't let you out of my sight. You are coming too Dog. I am assigning you as these two children bodyguard until I tell you otherwise."

"yes, Hokage-sama" said Dog

Naruto got up quietly with Mito in his arms. He followed Hiruzen out of the office with Dog following closely behind him.

Couple of moments later; Inside the council room;

Heated discussions could be heard all over the room. It was suddenly broken when the doors opened.

Hiruzen entered the room with Naruto and dog following behind him. The door closed.

Before Hiruzen could sit, Danzo said: "I told you Hiruzen to give me the Jinchuuriki for training. Now look what happened."

Koharu supporting Danzo said: " This incident is really bad Hiruzen. The relatives of the victims are demanding the Jinchuuriki's life as compensation. you really should give him to Danzo for training." Homura beside her nodded in agreement.

The civilian part of the council loudly expressed their agreement with the elders. They even threw insults and death threats at Naruto's direction.

The Shinobi part of the council kept quiet. They observed how this would play out.

Danzo is secretly proud of himself. With how things seems to be going, more than half of the council is on his side pressuring Hiruzen. He will get what he wants. 

What he didn't anticipate is when Hiruzen flooded the room with a heavy amount of killing intent making it quiet instantly. Hiruzen's angry eyes then fell on him.

"Danzo Shimura, Do you think I'm a fool? I know this is your doing." said Hiruzen angrily 

"What are you saying Hiruzen? I have nothing to do with this." Danzo defended himself

"The only one who had knowledge of the Jinchuuriki identity is you. The information has spread so quickly overnight. Only you have that kind of Manpower. Lets not forget the squad of Root that killed my Anbu squad assigned with protecting these two kids." Said Hiruzen furiously making the Shinobi clan heads look at Danzo with suspicion.

Danzo felt the situation slipping from his control. He cursed himself for being hasty about getting the Jinchuuriki. He said with slight frustration: "This is slander Hiruzen. I said I have nothing to do with it. you don't have any proof to say otherwise. Whatever I do is for the sake of the village." 

"You are lying"

The voice made all the occupants of the room look at Naruto who was the one who said that. 

"What did you say, brat?" said Danzo angrily 

Naruto look at him with a cold piercing look and said: "I said you are lying you old fool. I can feel emotions, what you said is a lie. Also the feeling of excessive greed That I feel from you every time you look in my direction doesn't help your case." 

This caused the room to be silent processing what they heard.

Danzo cursed silently. He knew this ability too well as Mito Uzumaki was known to have it. He avoided her as much as possible because of it. Now, The new Jinchuuriki seems to have it.

A mocking laugh coming from Naruto took everyone out of their thoughts. Naruto stopped laughing and looked at Danzo with a mocking smile before saying: " you say you do everything for the village. So how does leaking my status benefit the village?"

"Everyone in the village seems to know my status now. What makes you think that all the other nations wouldn't get this information?" Asked Naruto in a mocking tone

The question made most of who were in the room look at Danzo as if he was stupid making him grit his teeth in humiliation.

"Congratulations, you painted a target on your village's Jinchuuriki who isn't even a ninja yet." Said Naruto in a matter of a fact tone.

Silence fell on the room briefly before Hiruzen broke it by saying : "Danzo, effective immediately the Root is to be disbanded and integrated to Anbu. You will also be put on house arrest until I say otherwise." shocking the room especially his old teammates.

"You can't do that to me, Hiruzen." shouted Danzo.

" I can, and I just did. You went way too far. You orchestrated an attack on two children, one of them being the Jinchuuriki who doesn't even have any ties to the village except that his mother is from here. What do you think would have happened if the only two kids of Uzumaki lineage we know of were killed. The Kyuubi can only be sealed in an Uzumaki. And even if we have them, the only two seal masters we had died in the Kyuubi attack. So what is your plan if the worst happened?" said Hiruzen only to be met with silence.

"Then shut up and take your punishment." said Hiruzen with finality.

"Hiruzen, I know Danzo may went too far. But don't you think this is a bit much. He was your teammate and here you are siding with some mere children against him." said Koharu trying to defend Danzo.

"Mere children? You think I will assign Anbu protection to two regular kids?" Asked Hiruzen with a hint of disbelief 

"The infant is the child and legacy of the Yondaime Hokage." said Hiruzen shocking the whole room.

He continued: "The man just died two days ago. He sacrificed his life for the village and He gets our appreciation by attacking his two day old daughter." 

"As for the boy, Lets for a minute forget his Jinchuuriki status. I consider him my grandson and his mother has Uzumaki lineage and is also my student. Who do you think she is?" said Hiruzen making most of the people room pale.

"That is right. His Mother is Tsunade Senju making him the Senju Heir and you idiots attacked him with the intent to kill in the middle of the village that his Great-grandfather built." shouted Hiruzen with fury.

The news fell on the room occupants like a lightning bolt. For a while, They are trying to get a grip on the realty of their situation. The civilians and shinobi of the village attacked the heir of one of their founding clans.

"Anbu" Called Hiruzen making Hawk and three other operatives appear and surround Danzo.

" The House arrest is a punishment and a way for me to try and protect you. Tsunade is on her way to the village, and when she hears of what happened nothing short of your head will please her." said Hiruzen looking at Danzo as he was taken away.

"Nothing of what was said here tonight is to be told outside. Anyone leaking anything will be killed, Is that understood?" said Hiruzen to everyone in the room and loud enough for the escorted Danzo to hear.

"We are done here for tonight." said Hiruzen ending the meeting. He then left the the council room with Naruto and Dog following him.

The council members also left with heavy hearts. All what is on their mind is what will be the effects of what happened today.

Couple of hours later;

"NAMIKAZE" was a roar of feminine fury that can be felt approaching the village gates.

Mama Tsunade has arrived.

And she is not happy at all.
