Naruto: Starting With Three Tomoe Sharingan, Girlfriend Kushina

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Will You Still Show Me Your Eyes? I’ve Already Seen Through You!

A ten-year-old with the Three Tomoe Sharingan—no one in the history of the Uchiha Clan had ever awakened it at such a young age.

If this were to become known, not only would the entire Uchiha Clan be shaken, but the whole of Konoha Village would tremble in shock.

The Three Tomoe Sharingan was the standard for Uchiha Jonin. If certain "powerful figures" found out, would he ever have peaceful days again?

Forget about those research-obsessed freaks like Orochimaru and Danzo (especially that old bastard Danzo). Even other members of the Uchiha Clan might not wish him well.

"But isn't having a Kekkei Genkai amazing? Why can't others know?" Kushina tilted her head, confused.

Ryun sighed heavily.

"You're too young to see the darkness of this world..."

He paused slightly, realizing he shouldn't be telling her these things—she wouldn't understand anyway.

"Anyway, don't mention my Sharingan to anyone. Don't speak of it at all… unless you want me dead."

Ryun made it sound as serious as possible.

"Ah… okay! I'll be careful from now on."

Seeing how grave Ryun's expression was, Kushina didn't dare take his words lightly.

After making her promise, she suddenly thought of something and stared at Ryun with hopeful eyes.

"Then after school, will you still show me your eyes?"

"..."

"Fine, fine, I'll show you. But you have to keep your promise from now on…" Ryun said helplessly.

"Deal!"

Kushina beamed with joy, though she didn't even understand why she was so happy.

Ryun didn't get it either, assuming it was just a girl's gossipy heart being satisfied.

"Number 18, Uzumaki Kushina."

Soon, the chunin instructor called Kushina's name.

Kushina stepped forward and threw five shuriken, hitting the target with four but missing one. The ones that hit were far from the bullseye.

Her shuriken-throwing skills were average at best.

"Kushina, total score: 72!" The examiner announced.

"Next, Number 19, Uchiha Ryun." The chunin instructor called Ryun's name.

"It's Ryun! This is his best subject."

"Get ready to see him perform."

"Go, Ryun! Aim for a perfect score!"

Many girls cheered for him. He was quite popular in class, especially among the girls.

His temper was good, and he was good-looking. While his overall popularity was slightly lower than Minato's, Uchiha boys were generally well-liked by girls—something he had over Minato.

"Ryun, ganbatte!"

Kushina waved her small fist, shouting the loudest cheer of all.

"..."

Ryun found it a little funny. Taking a deep breath, he picked up a kunai.

In his eyes, the target 20 meters away seemed as close as if it were right in front of him, easy to hit.

After awakening the Three Tomoe, even without activating the Sharingan, his senses were far sharper than an ordinary person's—especially his vision.

Right now, even a target 100 meters away would be no problem if he wanted to hit the bullseye.

He casually threw the kunai. With a whoosh, it struck the target—but far from the center.

The watching students gasped. This result was unexpected.

The first throw seemed… mediocre.

The second kunai flew out, hitting the bullseye dead-on.

"Nice one!" Kushina cheered excitedly.

"This is Ryun's real skill. The first one must've been nerves!" a girl explained.

The third kunai missed the bullseye but landed closer than the first.

After the three kunai, Ryun grabbed three shuriken at once from the bucket.

He couldn't be bothered to throw them one by one.

With a cool flick of his wrist, the three shuriken flew out simultaneously.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

All three hit the target, but none struck the bullseye.

The move was all about style, and the girls on the field couldn't help but applaud.

Hitting the target with three shuriken at once was far beyond most of his peers, worthy of his Uchiha name.

"Uchiha Ryun, total score: 90!" The examiner announced.

Throwing three shuriken at once earned extra points, even if they didn't hit the bullseye.

Ryun seemed "unsatisfied" with the score. Another person who wasn't happy was the chunin instructor in charge of shurikenjutsu.

This was Ryun's strong suit—he shouldn't have scored only 90.

"Ryun, what happened? Your kunai throws shouldn't be this bad."

Ryun paused slightly before scratching his head and explaining,

"Maybe I didn't sleep well last night…"

"..."

Kushina, overhearing this, was stunned.

Again with this excuse? Always 'I didn't sleep well'??

That line convinced her—Ryun was definitely holding back.

She didn't know why, but her curiosity about her little desk mate grew even stronger.

In just one afternoon, she had unknowingly become fascinated by him.

Of course, it all started with one sentence: "Your hair's not bad… kinda cute!"

"Next, Number 23, Namikaze Minato!"

Before anyone realized it, it was the future Fourth Hokage's turn.

Minato threw his kunai, each one hitting the bullseye perfectly. The crowd erupted in applause and cheers.

Flattered by the praise, Minato flashed his signature sunny smile.

But when his gaze flicked to a certain redhead, his smile twitched. Kushina didn't even seem to be looking at him…

"Tell me the truth—did you fail on purpose just now?" Kushina whispered to Ryun.

"I have no idea what you're talking about…"

"Is 90 not high enough? You got 72, and that's not failing. How is 90 failing for me?"

Ryun shoved his hands in his pockets, deliberately ignoring her.

"..."

Kushina was speechless for a moment, almost convinced by his logic.

"No, wait!"

She suddenly realized something and shook her head.

"Your tone and attitude in that first sentence were exactly the same as when you lied before. You're… playing dumb again!"

Kushina grabbed Ryun's collar, looking triumphant, as if to say, "I've already seen through you!"

"!!!"

Ryun stiffened, staring at her in shock.

How does she keep catching me every time I play dumb?
