Naruto: Senmei Asahi

Deep in the lush forest, two silhouettes wearing the Konoha's standard shinobi uniforms were running fast. The two of them were sweating while looking back from time to time, as if something terrible was chasing them.

"Yamazaki, what do we do now?" One of the ninja asked. 

"Just hurry up to Captain Chizuru's position and we will naturally be safe." Yamazaki glanced at behind and said solemnly, "If we are caught, we must immediately detonate an explosive tag to notify the captain. Makino, how many tools are there in you as of right now?"

Makino said solemnly, "There aren't many left and we can't even set any traps." 

"I seem to have heard something I wasn't supposed to. Are you two planning a trap against us?" 

A low voice appeared from their front, Yamazaki and Makino quickly stopped, looking ahead warily.

A black silhouette slammed into Makino, and he was send flying desperately. Yamazaki on his side grabbed Makino and hid behind a couple of rocks, while yelling, "Puppets, among their team there's a puppeteer!" 

Yamazaki tone barely fell, when the puppet made a sharp move, and continued to rush towards their position. 

Yamazaki pulled out her tool pouch and threw a kunai behind her without looking.

*Boom*

A blast came from a distance. Asahi, Chizuru, and Ito, who were resting, quickly got up and looked vigilantly towards the direction of the explosion.

"It came from Yamazaki's direction. It seems that the other side also has a sensory-type ninja, and they got caught." Ito said solemnly. 

"Let's go! Hurry up!" Chizuru said unhappily, "What a bunch of troublesome guys." 

Asahi was about to catch up with Chizuru and Ito, but suddenly thought that Yamazaki and Makino we're probable already dead, and now there was only two jonin by his side. Even though Yamazaki and Makino's life or death status was still unknown. It's too irrational to rush like this. 

Thinking of this, he slowed down a little bit and followed behind the jonin just enough to guarantee not to stay too behind, but also to try to keep himself at a safe distance.

When Chizuru and Ito arrived, Yamazaki and Makino's corpse were lying quietly in an open space in the forest, they had been killed already.

"Ito of the Leaf!" Ito said.

"What about the Uchiha? You can also state your name." Saki glanced at Chizuru, and said indifferently. 

"Uchiha Chizuru!" His eyes closed slightly, and then opened with his three-tomoe Sharingan slowly rotating. Indifferently glancing at Saki, he coldly said, "Let's stop this nonsense, come and accept your death!"

"It's my honor to participate in a fight against an elite from the Uchiha clan." Saki didn't seem to be affected by Chizuru's threat, and still continued in a calm voice: "But... if I can take that Sharingan back to the village, I'll definitely be even more prestigious."

His tone barely fell, when he launched his attack. Hooking his fingers, three puppets appeared at the same time, attacking Chizuru and Ito from three angles. 

At the same time, six other ninjas also appeared controlling puppets, planning to engage in a combined siege towards Chizuru and Ito. 

In an instant, Chizuru and Ito became hedgehogs by the amount of kunai and flying needles that came from the puppets. 

"It was that simple?" Saki looked at them for a moment, then responded, "This doesn't feel right, is it genjutsu? When... did he casted the genjutsu then? Was it when I looked into his eyes?" 

"[Release]!"

Although Saki responded quickly and avoided falling for the illusion for much of a time, Chizuru still got the chance to create a deeply visible wound on him with his kunai.

"Hehehehe! The Sharingan can't be underestimated!" Saki looked at Chizuru, and said with a little envy, "So this is the Sharingan's power! It's really strong, I almost got killed by you."

"Tch!" Saki gave a massive leap back, to avoid Ito's ninjutsu. 

At this time, the other six sand ninjas finally decided to attack. This was a puppeteer team who fought differently from normal ninjas. The six sand ninjas jumped to six different directions, and at the same time, they manipulated their puppets to launch attack on Chizuru.

Chizuru quickly glanced all around, all the puppet's attack routes were all exposed under the Sharingan's might. 

"Just a little trick!" Chizuru sneered, and with a few casual flashes, he avoided all the puppet's attacks. 

Meanwhile, Ito launched a ninjutsu again, taking advantage of the exposed Sunagakure's puppeters. 

[Lightning Style ∙ Ray Emission] 

[Ray Emisson] is not an attack-type ninjutsu, but an auxiliary ninjutsu that emits strong rays of light to block the vision of the other side. The effect was similar to a modern world's flash grenade.

Chizuru and Ito had already cooperated as a team for a certain period of time. Even before Ito used his ninjutsu, Chizuru had already closed his eyes. However, the sand ninjas weren't so knowledgeable. By being careless, they all got affected by it. Now their eyes couldn't be opened for a moment.

That gave Chizuru and Ito an opportunity.

They both took out their swords from their sheath, and in the blink of an eye, killed two sand ninjas. 

"Perfect cooperation!" Saki exclaimed expressionlessly, and then manipulated his puppet with all his strength, moving it towards Chizuru and Ito, while launching an attack.

Asahi hid in the dark, staring closely at the battle situation. 

With five puppeteer on the other side, this was doomed to be a tough battle. 

The power of a puppeteer was not just that they manipulate puppets and launch hidden weapons like torrential rain. The most powerful thing about a puppeteer was that all of their hidden weapons were laced with poison. As long as their skin was touched even a little by these hidden weapons, they would immediately be poisoned. 

A ninja was a very unbalanced profession. They have a very strong attack power, but they were very much lacking in terms of defense. Even a jonin, or even a Kage, their bodies were only a little stronger than an ordinary person, if a hidden weapon hits them, they would be injured just like normal humans. 

When the five puppeteers started cooperating to launch attacks, even two powerful jonin could only rely on parrying and taking small opportunities to find a chance to counterattack.
