Naruto : Reborn As Sukuna Haruno

"Yo Naruto, long time no see..." came a shout, making the blond boy, already stretching, look up only to find a familiar face with an unfamiliar look.

"Whoa! Those glasses look so cool." Naruto's eyes widened with a shine in them. It was 5 in the morning, and after two days of unintended break from their grind due to all the drama going on around the village, they were finally back.

"Ah, you like them? I got them for cheap. I bought multiple copies. Want one?" Sukuna gave a big grin and from somewhere produced exactly the same, if not slightly different-looking, glasses with a complete black shade to them.

The only difference was that his were round like a certain Honored One, while the ones he took out were rectangular framed.

"Yes... yes, I want one... I want one." Nodding like a chicken pecking rice, Naruto eagerly took the glasses and put them on, now looking a little similar to his friend.

"How do I look?" Naruto struck a heroic pose, showing off his new acquisition.

"Very cool. Remove that orange and you just might get a little popular..."

"No way... don't have any thought about my orange." Naruto immediately shrank back, clutching defensively at his orange jacket and pants.

Sukuna had to ask this boy where exactly he even got that completely orange jacket in the first place. Who even makes them?

"Ready for today's grind, Naruto?" Sukuna beamed, ignoring Naruto's small, idiotic outburst.

"Hell yeah. Let's burn our youth together..."

Sukuna stiffened.

'Perhaps Naruto was spending too much time with Lee...' He wondered. Maybe, possibly, most likely, involving with Lee wasn't that great of an idea after all.

'Whatever, as long as I wasn't becoming someone's eternal rival, I don't care.' Shrugging, they started. Lee usually started his training even earlier. They would soon meet up with him after their 40-kilometre run.

"Ah, Sukuna-Kun... Naruto-Kun. I'm glad you're here. Let's train together." Soon they both found Lee, who was doing one-handed push-ups.

'Has this boy met with Might Guy yet? How come he's constantly pushing his body otherwise?' Sukuna pondered. Lee was definitely improving fast. Of course, he started earlier than them. However, his progress in Taijutsu was nothing less than impressive.

It made Sukuna wonder whether Lee is already in contact with Guy.

If yes, then that would definitely help in all of their growth. While he doubted that Guy would take out time to train them all, his character shouldn't be that different than the anime, so perhaps asking for a few tips in Taijutsu shouldn't be that off the mark.

He could definitely use a competent Taijutsu teacher.

'I doubt I can learn 8 Inner Gates… even if Curse Energy acts like Yin chakra, I believe Inner Gates are more closely related to Yang release than Yin. And even if that somehow is not an issue, the biggest issue would be the lack of chakra pathways.' Sukuna sighed.

This was the biggest thing he was missing. He had no proof, but if one does not possess chakra, then why would he have chakra pathways either, right?

Sukuna believed that a part of the reason why he had so much trouble walking on water or tree climbing was this. Without chakra pathways, controlling chakra becomes harder. Even if CE resembles chakra somewhat, if he can't use it like chakra, then there was no point in the first place.

However, everything was up in the air until confirmation. He needs a Hyuga to confirm this and thus, right now, wondering about Inner Gates was too premature at best.

"Gosh, both of you are looking incredible in those glasses." Lee gave a big smile and iconic thumbs up.

"Hehehe… you like it? I got more of these. Want one?" Sukuna again magically produced another pair of black sunglasses and handed them over to Lee.

Lee's eyes suddenly moistened. "This is so youthful… I'll make sure to put extra effort to burn my youth just as brightly as yours does, Sukuna-Kun."

"Enough talk, Lee… grind doesn't wait for anyone. Let us begin…" Sukuna hastily said before he found himself in the embrace of this youth maniac.

Later that day, they, completely tired but still fresh from the early hard work, reached the academy half-heartedly.

Sukuna wouldn't lie, he was enjoying the lockdown after the Uchiha situation just as much as he hated it back in his world. At least there were no classes.

"Yo, Naruto, Sukuna. What's up with those glasses?" Shikamaru, lazy as ever, greeted both of them with a lazy hand wave. Beside him, Choji was again munching on his chips.

If there was one person he was jealous of in the entire village, then it was Choji and by extension those Akimichi shinobi. Their training started by eating their favorite food.

"Hehe… you like them too, don't you? How do I look? Cool, right?" Naruto giggled, reminding Sukuna of Luffy suddenly.

"Sukuna got a whole bunch of them. Hey Sukuna, don't be stingy, give them one." Naruto shouted with a wide camera-angle smile.

'Sigh, one of these days I'm gonna beat the shit out of that idiot and his ultra pro max smile.'

"No, no, it's fine. Don't bother." Shikamaru grumbled and denied. Unlike Naruto, at least he had manners.

"Ah, don't worry Shika, just as Naruto said, I got many of them. I bought them on sale. Got so many because I wanted to give one to each of you. Here, take it." Sukuna replied. Ultimately, he wanted to give the glasses to them, so he didn't say anything to Naruto.

"Nah, I'm good." Shikamaru said with his iconic troublesome note.

"Ah, come on, Shika, it will look good on you. And this way no one could tell when you're taking a nap either." Sukuna grinned, making Shikamaru's decision waver.

"Here Choji, you got one too…"

"Ah,… it's not food."

"Yes, but they are free."

"Hmm, okay." Choji shrugged and took them. That was the last straw as Shikamaru too took them with a grumble and wore them.

Seeing his mission glasses was going well, he grinned internally. Of course, him suddenly wearing glasses and promoting this trend wasn't out of nowhere. This was a way to hide his Sharingan.

Of course, he can't always hide his Sharingan like this. However, he had already come up with a solution for that. The solution, however, was just not ideal.

He still wasn't able to turn off the Sharingan. So he planned to at least hide his eyes for a few years while he was still in the academy. By then, his solution should come into place.

However, doing that wasn't easy. If he was the only one who wore glasses then maybe people would get suspicious. That's why he'll pull the entire gang to take the trend with him.

By the time Iruka came, he found the last row filled with problem children, with the newest problem related to them having something to do with their eyes or those glasses.

For a second he thought of pointing them out but then changed his mind.

'I'm not getting paid that well yet.'

Other students were no different. Many just ignored the four students outright—don't know them and got nothing to do with them.

Sukuna even saw Sakura covering her pink hair just in case no one could see the resemblance between them. Otherwise, her reputation would be ruined.

In her ire she shot him a fierce look, like saying… 'Don't you call me in class, you hear me.'

Sukuna was speechless, honestly. Yeah, wearing glasses inside class was a little strange but not that much. Look at Shino!

And he thought he looked good in them.

'If Gojo can pull them off, then I can too.'

"Settle down, class." Iruka shouted with his big head jutsu. Before that, it was like those kids didn't even register him being there.

Can't use big head jutsu? No way you're Iruka-sensei. Anbu, we got an impostor here… Call Hokage. Iruka-sensei has been kidnapped.

Eyebrows barely restrained from twitching, Iruka waited until the last kid was in his place before starting.

"Today we have a new student joining us," Iruka muttered, making everyone break out in commotion.

Typically, boys wanted a cute girl while girls wanted a handsome boy.

Sukuna blinked his eyes, mind doing somersaults after what he heard. Did he hear it wrong?

There shouldn't be any noticeable new students joining, right? Aside from some unknown side character who was never mentioned in the story, this was completely unexpected.

Soon, the gate opened and in came a familiar face, making every girl in the class swoon. It was our resident emo Uchiha.

Boys clicked their tongues. 'Where's the new student? It's only that stuck-up Uchiha bastard.'

However, just behind him, following him was a girl. A cute girl who looked very similar to Sasuke. And seeing how Sasuke himself looked quite like a girl at this age, the girl was no doubt cute.

'Hell yeah. Finally our prayers are answered…' Some even did a low-key victory dance.

Sukuna didn't notice that though. Because his eyes were locked onto the girl completely.

He wasn't the only one. The girl too was staring at him like she saw a ghost.

"Everyone, welcome Kiyomi Uchiha. She's Sasuke's sister and she'll be studying with us from now on."

Everyone was stunned at this.

'She's Sasuke's sister?' Those kids were gobsmacked.

They hastily looked at the girl. However, they found that the new cute girl was now looking at the last row—towards the so-called problem children.

Her eyes were fixed on a certain pink-haired boy, as behind those glasses, the boy was doing the same.

Because unlike others, both of them knew. They knew because they could feel it.

"This Boy…"

"This Girl…"

"Has Curse Energy...."
