Naruto: Off the Rails from Tsunade’s Lap Pillow!

Chapter 206: Chapter 206: Hozuki Castle, Mui

Hozuki Castle.

Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki had been dressed in prison uniforms—the last way to keep their dignity intact.

Since both were prisoners sent from Konoha, they were locked up together.

"Hey, Sasuke, are you okay? You look really pale," Naruto said while glancing around their cell.

Sasuke grunted softly, saying nothing.

His pride refused to accept what had happened—especially being stripped bare by fire like that.

As usual, Naruto was completely unfazed by it all.

"Hey Sasuke, lighten up a bit," he grinned over his shoulder at him.

"...Right."

Sasuke shot him a glance. "Let's start planning our escape now."

He'd deal with Mui after they found the Box of Supreme Bliss.

"Time to act!"

Naruto instantly dropped whatever was on his mind and perked up.

He stretched out his hands instinctively trying to gather chakra, but then froze.

"Sasuke... I can't seem to use my chakra at all."

Gritting his teeth, Naruto pushed as hard as he could—but nothing happened.

Frowning, Sasuke quietly tried to summon his own chakra—but with no success.

"[Fire Release: Heavenly Prison]" must be the reason," Sasuke finally spoke, voice calm. "No wonder they left us here so carelessly."

"So what do we do now?" Naruto scratched his head. "If we can't break out, we can't complete the mission teacher gave us."

"Not a rush."

After a moment's thought, Sasuke suddenly activated his Three-Tomoe Sharingan.

"Right! Your Dojutsu can handle it!"

Excitement lit up Naruto's face.

Sasuke lifted his chin slightly, pride creeping into his expression—finally, he had the upper hand against Naruto.

But the next second, he screamed in pain.

The white prison uniform erupted into flames instantly, transforming into chains of fire that tightly wrapped around his body.

"Sasuke!"

Naruto reached out instinctively, only to recoil quickly from the searing heat.

"I'm… fine," Sasuke gritted his teeth.

But already the surface of his skin showed deep red marks.

Luckily, the flames didn't last long.

"Give me your shirt," Sasuke said once the pain passed. A chill ran through him.

Cold wasn't the main problem—it was being completely naked under the destroyed uniform.

Yet another blow to his pride.

"Oh right!" Naruto hurriedly took off his top.

"That [Fire Release: Heavenly Prison] is tricky," Sasuke tied the shirt around his waist like an apron. "I might need time to figure it out."

Stubborn pride—especially when it came to Naruto—refused to back down.

There was no way he would admit defeat against this technique.

"Yeah," Naruto nodded before withdrawing into the sealed space.

In this case, cheating was the only choice—or rather, calling in Mom and Dad.

Over the past few years, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki had taught him everything basic.

Except the [Flying Thunder God Technique] and sealing arts.

Because Naruto had never managed to grasp them.

If he had that talent, he wouldn't have struggled so much with the Rasengan in the original story.

To cultivate Naruto Uzumaki's independent combat awareness, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki have now adopted a hands-off approach.

They won't intervene unless it's a life-or-death situation.

But when it comes to Natsume's mission, that's another matter entirely.

Perhaps Sasuke Uchiha has a way, though judging from things, he probably won't be available anytime soon.

"I've also heard of this jutsu — Fire Release: Heavenly Prison."

Minato rubbed his chin thoughtfully before speaking, "It's considered a secret technique called Binding Arts."

"What kind of binding arts? Isn't it just Fire Release combined with sealing talismans?"

Kushina patted Naruto's shoulder and said, "Three days max — your mom will help you break through it."

"Why go through so much trouble?"

Kurama lifted its head from nearby, scoffing, "As long as there's enough chakra, no jutsu can't be broken."

"But you're stuck here."

Kushina glanced at it and smiled.

"…"

Kurama's fox-like face reddened as it muttered under its breath, "This was an accident, do you understand? An accident!"

Naruto suddenly noticed that Kurama's current expression looked eerily like Sasuke's earlier one.

"Alright, Naruto, just leave it alone. Go out and wait for a while."

Kushina waved her hand dismissively. "It won't delay Natsume's mission."

"Yeah."

Naruto opened his eyes again and saw Sasuke's dark expression.

At the same time, the jacket he had lent him was already in shreds.

Now what…?

Both of them down to just one pair of pants?

Meanwhile, the atmosphere inside the lord's mansion was equally tense.

Mui stared at the intelligence report from Grass Village, his hands shaking uncontrollably.

Shinobi Saru, Hitsuji, Uma, and Ushi were all dead.

He couldn't open the Box of Supreme Bliss alone anymore.

Without opening the Box of Supreme Bliss, it meant he couldn't resurrect his son Mukaku.

All the efforts he had spent over the years in Hozuki Castle had vanished overnight like bubbles bursting in the wind.

A deep resentment welled up inside Mui.

"What person is there?"

Suddenly alarmed, he turned his head toward the windowsill.

A masked young man stood there.

"Mui."

Natsume called out, "Nice to meet you for the first time."

This chapter isn't finished yet!

Mui narrowed his eyes slightly; the white gloves in his hands immediately turned red.

Thick chakra coalesced into a blazing sword, suddenly stabbing toward Natsume.

[Fire Release: Heavenly Prison Flame Sword!]

Whoever gets hit by this move will be completely burned to ashes by the great fire.

Natsume came uninvited and was being intrusive.

Plus Mui was already in a bad mood—he didn't feel like talking and decided to attack directly.

"That's quite a move, I'll admit."

Natsume smiled as he complimented.

The flame sword pierced his body but did absolutely no damage.

"What?!"

Mui's face paled. This was his first time encountering such a situation.

But being experienced, he quickly realized what had happened.

Genjutsu? When had that even happened?

Mui formed a series of hand seals and shouted, [Dispel!]

Nothing changed.

Frowning deeply, he once again summoned a fire sword and hurled it forward.

Replay of the scene.

Natsume emerged unscathed.

You didn't unlock it?

Mui's face twisted in horror.

What—what kind of genjutsu is this?

A cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

"Who are you, sir?"

Dropping his probing tone, Mui took a deep breath and asked, "May I ask what your purpose is for coming here?"

"The Box of Supreme Bliss."

Natsume answered calmly.

Just as I suspected.

After a few seconds of silence, Mui said, "The Box of Supreme Bliss cannot be opened anymore. Even if you possess it, it has no value."

"I killed Saru, Hitsuji, Uma, and Ushi."

Natsume suddenly said.

"...?"

Mui stared at him intensely and demanded, "If you knew they were necessary to open the Box of Supreme Bliss, why did you kill them?"

"I believe Lord Mui already knows the answer."

Natsume replied tonelessly.

"You can perform the technique to open it?"

Mui hesitated, unconsciously revealing joy on his face, which quickly vanished.

With Saru, Hitsuji, Uma, and Ushi, there was still hope of making a wish.

But against this mysterious and immensely powerful young man, there was nothing he could do.

How could he ever hope to resurrect his son, Mukaku?

In an instant, despair gripped him.

Cooperation would not save Mukaku. Without it, he risked losing his own life.

"The Box of Supreme Bliss can be opened multiple times. If you help me with something, you'll get one chance."

Natsume casually said.

He truly wasn't lying to Mui.

Opening the Box required absorbing immense amounts of chakra.

With enough chakra, naturally it could be opened repeatedly.

However, after witnessing the outcome of the first opening, Mui would probably give up.

Right now, he still had hope because he didn't yet understand the true nature of the Box.

Hearing this, Mui's eyes narrowed. He couldn't fully trust Natsume, but he couldn't refuse the offer either.

Unless he could defeat Natsume—or find four more ninja skilled in sealing techniques.

Either option was extremely difficult.

"What do you want me to do?"

Asking this question meant Mui had agreed to cooperate.

"Not much really."

A faint smirk tugged at Natsume's lips. "Just help torture two new prisoners locked up today, Musashi and Kosuke—in particular, that Kosuke."

It wasn't just out of cruelty.

Partly, it was to train his two students.

And partly to help Sasuke Uchiha awaken his Sharingan ahead of schedule. Some emotional stimulation beforehand would help him endure the shock of absorbing the Box's power.

Mui nodded slightly, his gaze shifting slightly as he began contemplating what connection these two might have with the mysterious masked young man.

Natsume glanced at him but paid no mind to whatever thoughts Mui had.

His strength was far too weak—his thoughts would ultimately mean nothing.

The only reason Natsume went through all this trouble was to earn more destiny points.

"There's also another matter."

Natsume's expression remained unchanged as he spoke indifferently. "Kirabi is currently at Hozuki Castle. Capture her and bring her to me."

Kirabi?

Immediately, Mui remembered that she had been his son Mukaku's friend.

But it didn't seem important.

"I will find her."

Mui composed himself and resumed his usual emotionless expression.

For his son's sake, anyone else was expendable.

[Because of your actions, the destinies of Mui, Ryuzetsu, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha have already changed. You have gained a total of 160 destiny points.]

Natsume gave a satisfied nod.

"Next time, I'll come looking for you."

His voice was still echoing as his body vanished.

Mui exhaled, relieved.

Only then did he notice traces of genjutsu.

He made a series of hand seals and dispelled the illusion.

"Lord of the City?"

"You're finally awake!"

"Your Highness, why did you suddenly go into a trance after using two jutsus?"

"Yeah, we called you but you didn't respond at all."

"We thought you might've fallen under a genjutsu, but even channeling chakra through you didn't help."

Hearing this, Mui couldn't help but shiver with unease.

What kind of genjutsu had that mysterious person used?

Why hadn't they sensed it at all?

There were several ways to break free from genjutsu.

The simplest way was to rely on teammates to intervene.

Yet that very method had failed him.

In a cold tone, Mui said, "You're dismissed."

After they left, he stood silently for a moment before heading toward the dungeon.

Soon, the sound of punches and kicks echoed through the air.

Mui wasn't using Fire Release—just taijutsu, fighting off two opponents.

Yet he still overwhelmed them.

Deprived of both ninjutsu and chakra, Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki were greatly weakened.

"Worthless trash."

Mui pointed at Sasuke Uchiha and said, "Especially you."

He was following Natsume's orders.

"You bastard! I'll kill you!"

Sasuke instantly lost control.

Three thousand words.
