Naruto : My Father Ascended — Now What?

Chapter 16: CH- 16 : A God’s Wrath: Kekkai Mora Overdrive

Elwith, the ten Crystal Dragonoids, and their elite legion heard Reizan's voice ripple across the frozen battlefield — a voice so calm, it sliced deeper than any blade.

Her eye twitched. The rage in her chest burned like molten lava.

"Channel your Dragonic energy into me!" she commanded.

In unison, the ten Crystal Dragons roared, unleashing a stream of radiant violet aura. It twisted and coiled like living serpents, then funneled into Elwith. Her body pulsed with immense power, her rainbow-colored scales shimmering with celestial light. The icy ground beneath her feet cracked under the sudden pressure, and her aura began climbing toward the realm of demigods.

Above, Reizan lazily raised a single hand, smirking as the swirling energy gathered around his palm.

"Let's break your little wall…"

"Purple God Lightning."

A sinister bolt of dark-purple lightning tore through the clouds — massive, jagged, and pulsing like a heart. The thunderbolt struck the ten-headed golden dragon-shaped barrier with earth-shaking force. The impact lit the tundra in ultraviolet hues as crackling tendrils of lightning splintered into the air and into the cracks forming on the barrier. Several Dragonoid soldiers screamed — not from damage, but from complete paralysis as the current seeped through.

Still, the barrier held… until—

Elwith, her hair and horns now glowing brighter, raised her hand and finished her chant.

"Dragon Overlord Form!"

A cyclone of draconic energy erupted around her. The barrier shattered like brittle glass. A colossal Rainbow dragon, covered in rainbow scales and glowing sigils, exploded forth — easily dwarfing mountains. It collided with the lingering thunderbolt, sending another shockwave across the plain.

Then, Elwith shouted, "Devour!"

The spectral dragon opened its jaws wide and consumed the bolt of Purple God Lightning whole, compressing the volatile energy into its core.

But it was a Kekkai Mora technique.

The devouring caused a violent backlash. The spectral dragon convulsed, its form destabilizing, bolts of residual lightning ripping through its wings and body. The momentary silence after the clash was heavy… before the beast collapsed onto one knee, breathing heavily and unable to rise.

Reizan's smirk widened. His golden Tensigan glimmered with eerie light.

"Little lizard," he taunted, "you thought abandoning your humanoid form to become an overgrown gecko made you stronger?"

He raised his arm. Light began gathering.

"You're just a bigger target now."

From his open hand, a glowing silver energy blade materialized — smooth, radiant, and terrifying. This was no ordinary weapon. It was forged from Silver Light Fall, the rare Kekkai Mora that dissolved anything it touched into atomic nothingness.

At the same time, Ash Bones began emerging — grey, menacing, spiraling from Reizan's back and arms, bursting from gaps in his Truth-Seeking Armor like natural extensions of a god of death.

In one hand, he held the colossal Sword of Nunoboko — forged from divine will. In the other, the Silver Light Blade, the reaper's scythe of instant decay.

With twelve Truth-Seeking Balls orbiting behind him like miniature stars, and bones growing like divine thorns, Reizan floated down, his silhouette casting a dark eclipse over Elwith's army.

"Let's see," he whispered, voice filled with lethal joy, "how well your rainbow-colored faith holds up… against extinction."

The battlefield froze in time for a moment.

The air trembled beneath the weight of godlike energies. Reizan hovered high, an embodiment of death itself—his golden-white eyes blazing through the darkened sky, his body armored in shifting truth-seeking plates now laced with jagged grey Ash-Bones. In one hand, the colossal black Sword of Nunoboko. In the other, a shimmering silver energy blade made from Silver Light Fall, bending space around it like starlight in gravity.

Below, Elwith—now in her massive rainbow-scaled dragon form—roared with defiance, her voice splitting the heavens.

"This is for our kin. For the dignity of the Dragonoids!"

Her words stirred the hearts of her army, still protected by remnants of the shattered 10-headed barrier. The thunderbolt had weakened their formation, but not their will.

Reizan smirked.

"Oh, how noble. The brave little lizard fights for pride and legacy... while her bones are about to join the ash beneath my feet."

With that, Reizan raised his palm.

"Primordial Suppression."

A crushing wave of invisible pressure cascaded across the icy plains. Hundreds of dragonoid soldiers collapsed on the spot, roaring in agony as their bones buckled and their lungs gave out. Even the crystal dragons began to falter.

"Fall in line, maggots," Reizan said coldly. "Your souls are unworthy of rebellion."

Elwith gritted her fangs. "I won't fall to your cursed influence!"

Reizan's smile widened. "Then let's try something else…"

"Conscious Control."

A wave of distorted golden energy radiated from his eyes, washing over the paralyzed ranks. Dozens of dragonoids suddenly stopped struggling, their eyes dimming as they turned, bowing to Reizan like he's a god in mid-battle.

Elwith's rage ignited.

"Traitors! Fight it! He's no god—he's a demon!"

"You say that like there's a difference," Reizan replied, laughing mockingly. "Besides, what's a god but someone who can break others with a thought?"

A moment of chaos.

The remaining crystal dragons launched crystalline dragonic spears laced with space-tearing energy. The ground erupted with lightning lances, magma waves, and concentrated draconic wind blasts.

Reizan moved through it all without flinching.

Truth-Seeking Balls spun around him like miniature stars, intercepting every elemental attack and disintegrating them into nothing. He extended one hand forward, forming another truth-seeking ball mid-air and detonating it in the midst of a tightly-packed formation.

BOOOOOOM!

A dome of black void engulfed dozens, vaporizing them instantly.

And then came the real nightmare.

Reizan hurled his Ash-Bones into the air—dozens of them. Grey lances twisted through the wind, carried by the currents of his swirling black Sword of Nunoboko, creating a massive spiral storm of death. The bones stabbed through bodies, freezing time around the point of impact before turning each soldier into crumbling dust.

"Witness decay incarnate," he spat, flinging more bones. "Your bloodline ends today."

Elwith suddenly surged forward, her dragon form glowing with multicolored divine fire.

"Enough!!"

She bit into Reizan's armor, trying to pierce the truth-seeking barrier. The air shimmered from the pressure.

But Reizan let her.

Then in a flash—Purple God Lightning erupted from the sky again.

The bolt didn't strike the ground—it struck Elwith directly.

Her dragon form reeled backward, smoke and sparks bursting from her massive wings. But she was still standing, snarling, eyes burning with fury.

"So you can tank that," Reizan muttered. "Let's see how long your borrowed power holds out."

He activated Silver Light Fall fully.

The silver sword in his hand extended, and he cleaved through a squadron of charging dragonoids. The moment they were touched, their entire existence unraveled into motes of stardust and silence.

"Everything you are… will be undone by my light."

Reizan's dual blades clashed against Elwith's claws—Nunoboko against rainbow flame, Silver against draconic scales. The impact ruptured the sky, sending shockwaves across the tundra. Half the battlefield broke into floating shards of land.

Elwith's scales cut like butter into her fresh , but before it could cut any deeper she moved away putting a distance between reizan .

"You... won't win..." Elwith snarled.

"But I already have," Reizan whispered coldly. "You're simply too proud to admit it."

Elwith looked at reizan with blood-shot eyes , blood dripping from her claws, her wings torn.

Reizan's armor pulsed—new Ash-Bones forming from his back and arms, lightning dancing in his fingers, silver light bleeding from his eyes, and truth-seeking balls orbiting like an army of miniature suns.

"Let me show you what it means to defy an Ōtsutsuki."

He soared forward, blades flashing—cutting through soldiers, barriers, and faith alike.

This wasn't a battle anymore.

It was a slaughter.

The battlefield had become a graveyard of shattered ice and burnt wings.

Elwith hovered in the storm-filled sky, trembling—not from fear, but from helpless rage. Her eyes, once radiant with royal pride, were wide with disbelief as she watched her people—her kin—fall like flies before the dark god floating above them.

"C-Captain Norvex…? Lieutenant Rael…?""No… no this can't be…"

The names of her warriors echoed in her heart as their bodies were erased—one by one—by powers she couldn't even comprehend.

Ash-Bones shot like needles of death, turning proud dragnoids into dust.Purple God Lightning scorched the air, cleaving formations apart in bursts of blinding electricity.

Silver Light Fall cut through even the strongest of crystal-armored elites, reducing enchanted shields and ancient scales to atomic haze

.Primordial Suppression crushed the army's morale, dragging thousands of seasoned Grandmasters to their knees like they were mere fledglings and the most terrifying…Conscious Control.

Watching dozens of her warriors bow to that monster—chanting his name, calling him "Lord," turning on their own…It broke her.

Her breath was shaky. Her claws clenched.

Across the sky, the source of it all descended, floating above the battlefield like a reaper made of light and shadow.

He was calm. Still. Composed.

Twelve Truth-Seeking Balls rotated slowly behind him, glowing with unholy light. His cloak of truth-seeking armor flowed like smoke, black as the void.In one hand, the Sword of Nunoboko. In the other, the shimmering blade of Silver Light Fall and surrounding him were bones of grey, spiraling out from his arms and back, twisting with lethal elegance. He looked like Abomination .

Elwith stared, shaking.

Reizan finally spoke.

His voice was smooth—elegant—but dipped in venom.

"This is what happens… when insects roar at me."

He floated closer, eyes gleaming with a glowing fury.

"But before you perish with the rest of your kind, let me grant you a mercy."

He raised one hand, letting it fall to his chest.

"My name… is Reizan Ōtsutsuki."

A pause. The wind stilled.

"Etch it into your fading lizard soul."

The air cracked. He vanished in a flash of divine speed.

A storm of devastation followed.

Reizan blurred through the sky, his Truth-Seeking Balls firing at rapid pace—each explosion tearing through enemy ranks. With a flick, Ash-Bones erupted from his palms, drilling through dragon-scale armor and reducing elite guards to grey mist.

The Silver Light blade slashed across the field, its energy spreading wide in a cleaving arc—erasing every dragonoid in its path without sound or resistance.

Elwith screamed—"Fall back! Reinforce the formation!"But it was too late.

Reizan clapped both hands together —

"Purple God Lightning"

A thousand tendrils of lightning rained as a purple lightning bolt descended down from the sky, branching and hunting, striking multiple targets at once. The frozen earth shattered. The skies turned violet.

Within moments, hundreds of dragonoids were either dead or kneeling—crushed by Primordial Suppression, their souls fraying at the edges.

Dozens of others began to turn, chanting under Conscious Control:

"All hail Reizan-sama… destroy the heretics…"

Elwith's heart stopped. Her wings faltered.

She watched in horror as her army—once the pride of her people—crumbled before one man's wrath.

"How…? How could one being… do this…?"

Tears finally spilled from her eyes.

"ENOUGH!!"

A scream of ancient rage erupted from her throat as her entire body lit up in rainbow-colored aura. She crossed her arms and roared:

"Dragon Empress Ascension: Crystal Genesis Form!!"

Her form burst with light. Wings expanded, claws grew, her tail lengthened—and her humanoid body was enveloped in an elegant but monstrous Crystal Dragon Empress form, ten times larger, powered by generations of compressed dragonic energy.

The winds screamed as she launched herself at Reizan with speed matching light itself.

But Reizan didn't move.

He smirked.

"Took you long enough to turn into the overgrown lizard you were always meant to be."

Reizan noted inwardly—her power had already solidified at the Six Paths tier, possibly even surpassing the Sage of Six Paths himself, despite only holding the rank of Grandmaster. This dragon-girl was truly astonishing, wielding an overwhelming arsenal of power-laced techniques. A faint smile curved on Reizan's lips.

He extended both arms.

Twelve Truth-Seeking Balls began rotating faster behind him, reacting to the chakra intensity.

The Sword of Nunoboko pulsed with lethal resonance.

The Silver Light Fall blade in his other hand vibrated so violently, the space around its tip distorted with every millimeter of motion.

Grey Ash-Bones spiraled down his arms like ceremonial armor, melding into the Truth-Seeking cloak seamlessly—an armor of annihilation.

And yet…

He didn't move.

Because he wanted her to come.

"Come, Elwith," he whispered as the space before him cracked from her speed."Show me the best of your people. Show me your despair... before I erase you."
