Naruto: Limitless Sage

Chapter 118: Chapter 118 & 119: Naruto vs. the Tsuchikage, Raikage, and Mizukage! The Pinnacle Showdown Begins!

At this moment, Uzumaki Naruto—Fifth Hokage and the one who seeks to unify the shinobi world—

stood tall, his aura razor-sharp, fully unleashed for all to see.

Opposite him were the Tsuchikage Ōnoki, the Raikage A, and the Mizukage Mei Terumi.

As Naruto boldly declared his ambition, the pressure in the room thickened, almost tangible. The three Kage could feel it, heavy and suffocating, like a storm waiting to explode.

But Tsuchikage Ōnoki wasn't one to bow his head so easily.

"Hokage-dono, your ideals are far too naive," Ōnoki said with a stern face, voice laced with sarcasm.

"Unify the shinobi world? Do you even realize what you're saying?"

"Do you think so little of our three great villages?"

His words weren't just a rejection—they were a challenge.

Ōnoki couldn't believe that Konoha, freshly recovering from internal turmoil, had the strength to stand alone against the combined might of Iwagakure, Kumogakure, and Kirigakure.

Sure, he had seen the changes happening within Konoha.

Yes, perhaps in five or six years, if this momentum continued, they might be able to contend with the great villages.

But now?

Impossible.

Ōnoki refused to believe it.

Raikage A crossed his arms, his tone just as dismissive.

"Snap out of it, Hokage," he said coldly. "This world isn't a fairy tale. It's far crueler than you imagine."

"This meeting is over."

From his perspective, they had already seen what they came for—the so-called reforms of Konoha, and the inauguration ceremony of this new Fifth Hokage.

As for this so-called "Kage Summit"? He had no desire to entertain Uzumaki Naruto's ridiculous proposal any longer.

Mizukage Mei Terumi stepped forward, her voice calm but firm.

"With all due respect, Hokage-dono," she said, "Konoha isn't capable of uniting the shinobi world."

"I believe today's meeting should end here."

"Thank you for your hospitality. Our visit to Konoha was… informative."

"But now—"

"It's time we take our leave."

With that, Mizukage Mei turned and made for the door.

The Tsuchikage and Raikage followed suit without hesitation.

This summit—meant to usher in a new era—was falling apart before it could even begin.

But at the head of the table, Naruto didn't move. He watched them calmly, without anger or panic.

Their response was exactly what he expected.

Of course, they still believed they had a choice.

They still thought they could refuse.

They hadn't yet seen the truth.

Then Naruto stood.

His voice rang clear, calm—but absolute.

"Ōnoki. A. Mei."

"You are not permitted to leave Konoha."

The three Kage froze mid-step, stunned by the audacity of his words.

And in that instant—

They realized.

The Fifth Hokage wasn't asking for permission.

He was delivering a decree.

What is Uzumaki Naruto planning to do next?

"I knew it," Tsuchikage Ōnoki cursed inwardly. He had sensed trouble the moment he accepted Konoha's invitation.

Raikage A narrowed his eyes, his thoughts tense.

"So this is the real face of Konoha now..."

Mizukage Mei Terumi wore a grave expression. She had anticipated the possibility of conflict, but she had hoped to avoid direct confrontation.

Even so, the Tsuchikage, Raikage, and Mizukage weren't fools. They had come to Konoha fully prepared. Each of them had made contingency plans in case something went wrong.

They had come ready—for anything.

Now, all three Kage moved simultaneously, subtly activating the summoning seals or chakra signals that would call their personal guards.

A moment later, their elite entourage arrived on scene.

From Iwagakure:

Tsuchikage Ōnoki's most trusted aide, Akatsuchi, appeared at his side. A loyal jōnin of the Hidden Stone, he specialized in Earth Release and was known for his immense physical strength.

Nicknamed "The Shield of the Tsuchikage," Akatsuchi was a walking fortress—dependable and unyielding.

Alongside him stood Kurotsuchi, Ōnoki's granddaughter. A skilled kunoichi with a firm command of the Kekkei Genkai Lava Release (Yōton), Kurotsuchi was a prodigy in her own right.

In the years to come, she would inherit her grandfather's position and rise as the Fourth Tsuchikage—a testament to her ability.

Both of them now stood, poised for battle.

From Kumogakure:

Raikage A's personal guards arrived in a flash of chakra.

First was Killer Bee, the Jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails, Gyūki. Unlike many others, he had mastered complete control over his tailed beast, making him a living weapon of incredible power.

In the original timeline, it was Killer Bee who taught Uzumaki Naruto how to control Kurama's chakra. And when Sasuke Uchiha once attempted to capture him, Bee had humiliated the Uchiha with overwhelming force.

His strength was legendary.

The second guard was Darui, the man chosen by the Fourth Raikage as his successor.

Darui had inherited the rare and deadly Black Lightning of the Third Raikage. A master of both Storm Release (Ranton) and kenjutsu, Darui combined speed, precision, and devastating lightning-style ninjutsu into one lethal package.

The Raikage once called him his "second right hand."

Now both stood ready, a wall between their Kage and any threat.

From Kirigakure:

Mizukage Mei Terumi's guards—Chōjūrō and Ao—materialized by her side.

Chōjūrō, one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, wielded the legendary dual-bladed Hiramekarei. Though shy and soft-spoken, he was a prodigious talent—later rising to become the Sixth Mizukage himself.

His swordsmanship, combined with explosive bursts of chakra, made him a force few could match.

Beside him was Ao, the infamous Byakugan Slayer. A veteran of countless battles, Ao had once taken the Byakugan from a fallen Hyūga and used it with deadly efficiency.

He was Mei Terumi's most trusted intelligence operative and a sensor-nin of the highest order.

Thanks to the transplanted Byakugan, Ao had gained the ability to wield the Hyūga clan's Kekkei Genkai.

When combined with his original proficiency in Water Release techniques, his combat capabilities became even more formidable.

At this moment, as the Fifth Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto stood alone, facing a lineup of enemies who represented the very pinnacle of the current shinobi world.

The Tsuchikage Ōnoki—a veteran among Kage—was not to be underestimated.

More than just a standard Kage-level fighter, Ōnoki possessed a unique and terrifying power:

Dust Release (Jinton)—a Kekkei Tōta, or "Bloodline Selection," a step beyond the usual Kekkei Genkai.

Dust Release is a fusion of three chakra natures: Earth, Wind, and Fire.

With it, he could generate a translucent cube-shaped barrier between his palms—a technique that not only traps its target but disintegrates them at a molecular level.

The technique doesn't just kill. It erases.

This destructive power was what earned it the name Dust Release—a jutsu that reduces its victims to dust and atoms.

Ōnoki was not alone.

From Iwagakure, his two elite jōnin had joined the fray: Akatsuchi and Kurotsuchi.

While neither of them individually reached Kage-level strength, together they could rival one.

Akatsuchi, known for his enormous size and strength, was an Earth Release expert and served as a human bulwark.

Kurotsuchi, a prodigy and wielder of Lava Release (Yōton), was Ōnoki's granddaughter and destined to become the next Tsuchikage.

Both were far from ordinary shinobi.

Within Iwagakure, their status was akin to that of Hatake Kakashi in Konoha—elite, respected, and undeniably powerful.

Taken together, the Rock Village had two Kage-level combatants on the field.

From Kumogakure, the Hidden Cloud Village, stood the Fourth Raikage, A—a powerhouse in every sense of the word.

Since his youth, A had excelled in combat. When he activated his Lightning Release Chakra Mode, his body became cloaked in raw, crackling energy.

So powerful was this mode that he could match the strength of even the Eight-Tails.

During the Third Great Ninja War, A was the only shinobi who could keep up—albeit barely—with Minato Namikaze, the legendary Yellow Flash, in terms of speed.

While Minato's mastery of the Flying Thunder God made him unmatched, after his death, Raikage A inherited the title of "The Fastest Shinobi Alive."

Backing him were two more monstrous warriors:

Killer Bee, the Jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails (Gyūki). Unlike most Jinchūriki, Bee had full control over his tailed beast's power and could enter Tailed Beast Mode at will. He was also the one who, in the original timeline, taught Naruto to master the Nine-Tails' chakra. His strength had once overwhelmed even Sasuke Uchiha, who had come to capture him.

Darui, the only known user of the Black Lightning technique, inherited from the Third Raikage. A wielder of Storm Release (Ranton) and a master of kenjutsu, Darui was described by the Fourth Raikage as his second right hand. He was already a Kage-tier combatant in all but name.

With A, Killer Bee, and Darui combined, the Hidden Cloud had three Kage-level fighters standing against Naruto.

From Kirigakure, the Hidden Mist, stood the Fifth Mizukage: Mei Terumi.

In a village once plagued by internal strife, she had risen to power and stabilized the chaos through sheer force of will and overwhelming strength.

In a world where only power defined leadership, her rise was a testament to her fearsome ability.

Mei wielded not one, but two Kekkei Genkai:

Boil Release (Futton) – an acidic mist that could melt anything it touched.

Lava Release (Yōton) – capable of creating explosive magma attacks.

Her two guards were equally impressive:

Ao, the former ANBU commander known as the Byakugan Slayer, was a veteran sensor-type and master tactician.

Chōjūrō, one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, wielded Hiramekarei, the legendary twin-bladed chakra sword. Though humble in demeanor, he would later succeed Mei as the Sixth Mizukage.

Together, Mei and her guards contributed two more Kage-level fighters to the battlefield.

So in total:

Iwagakure: 2 Kage-level fighters (Ōnoki, Akatsuchi + Kurotsuchi)

Kumogakure: 3 Kage-level fighters (A, Killer Bee, Darui)

Kirigakure: 2 Kage-level fighters (Mei Terumi, Ao + Chōjūrō)

Seven high-level combatants stood against one.

Against Uzumaki Naruto.

In all the long history of the Shinobi World Wars…

No one—not even Uchiha Madara, not even any of the former Kage—had stood alone against seven Kage-tier enemies.

There was only one man in memory who had ever come close to such a feat:

Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage—the one known as the God of Shinobi.

And now, here stood Naruto… with the weight of the world on his shoulders.

But his eyes held no fear.

Because unlike anyone before him—

He believed.

And that belief was about to be tested.

In the eyes of Tsuchikage Ōnoki, Raikage A, and Mizukage Mei Terumi, the situation was clear:

The advantage was theirs.

Naruto might be the Hokage, and acknowledged as a Kage-level shinobi himself—but against seven high-tier fighters, even he couldn't hope to stop them all.

If they simply broke out of the building and scattered in different directions, there was no way Konoha could mobilize a coordinated pursuit fast enough to intercept each of them.

Their plan was simple: break out, split up, and escape.

But what they didn't realize was—

They had completely underestimated Uzumaki Naruto's true strength.

In truth, any shinobi who hadn't seen it with their own eyes could never comprehend it.

That a single ninja, in this world, might wield power that surpasses even the legendary First Hokage—Hashirama Senju, the God of Shinobi.

Standing at the center of the room, Naruto crossed his arms and smiled coolly, his tone unshaken.

"You think numbers will save you?"

"What a naïve... and honestly, adorable idea."

Ōnoki, A, and Mei stiffened at his words. They exchanged glances—communicating silently.

Their eyes met.

A single nod passed between them.

"Move!" Ōnoki barked.

In an instant, the three Kage, surrounded by their elite guards, sprang into action.

With explosive force, they smashed through the walls of the Hokage building—stone and wood splintering under their blows.

A gaping hole tore open, and sunlight poured into the council chamber as they burst into the open air.

Outside, a large celebration was underway in Konoha.

The village had gathered to honor Naruto's inauguration as the Fifth Hokage—the streets near the Hokage Tower were filled with laughter, food stalls, streamers, and music.

Until everything went still.

A thunderous crash echoed from the Hokage building. Eyes turned. Voices rose.

"Look up there!"

"That's the Tsuchikage!"

"Is that the Raikage too!?"

"And the Mizukage—what's going on?!"

Confused and startled, Konoha's civilians and shinobi alike looked toward the rooftop, where the visiting Kage and their guards had suddenly burst out of the building.

The air shifted.

A tension settled across the plaza like a heavy fog.

The festivities stopped mid-motion. Plates dropped. Laughter died.

But even in their confusion, the villagers weren't afraid.

Because now... they had Naruto.

Their Fifth Hokage.

And his strength?

It was more than enough to protect Konoha—from any enemy.

Back on the rooftop, the Kage and their teams were ready to make their escape—each preparing to launch in separate directions to flee the village.

But before they could take a step, a voice rang out behind them:

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

A beat of silence—then:

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Three muffled explosions echoed from the building behind them.

And then they felt it.

Three chakra signatures flared.

Three figures launched through the smoke.

Ōnoki, A, and Mei immediately recognized the threat.

They were being targeted.

Perched on the rooftops, the three Kage and their guards realized with chilling clarity:

They weren't going to make it.

Not yet.

They hadn't gained enough distance to safely disengage.

And in this situation—turning their backs on Naruto would be fatal.

Because if they tried to flee now—

They wouldn't be escaping Konoha.

They'd be dying in it.

The Tsuchikage and his companions turned sharply toward the opening they had just created in the Hokage Building.

And then—they saw him.

Three versions of the Fifth Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto, emerged from the smoke and debris, following them out without hesitation.

From below, the citizens and shinobi of Konoha—still gathered around the plaza for the celebration—caught sight of their leader.

"Look! It's Naruto-sama!"

"The Hokage is going after them himself!"

Almost immediately, the scene in the Hokage Building was reported to other prominent figures across the village.

The First Hokage, Second Hokage, and Fourth Hokage—now revived through Edo Tensei—

Jiraiya, Tsunade, Orochimaru, and Kakashi Hatake were all alerted.

But even as the alarms spread, one thing was clear:

Naruto didn't need anyone's help.

The real Naruto landed atop the Hokage Building.

With a calm and commanding presence, he extended both arms—and in a flash of smoke, three Shadow Clones appeared.

Each clone instantly moved to intercept one of the three groups—Iwagakure, Kumogakure, and Kirigakure.

Facing each group, the three Narutos spoke in perfect unison:

"You're surrounded."

"So I'll give you a choice."

"Take the easy path… or the hard one."

The rooftop air grew still.

The Tsuchikage Ōnoki, Raikage A, and Mizukage Mei Terumi narrowed their eyes.

Each of them glanced briefly at their respective teams—Akatsuchi and Kurotsuchi, Killer Bee and Darui, Ao and Chōjūrō.

No one hesitated.

Their eyes said everything:

They were prepared to fight.

Ōnoki hovered slightly off the ground, his small frame tense with power.

Raikage A clenched his fists, lightning crackling faintly around his forearms.

Mei Terumi exhaled slowly, mist curling from her lips.

Then, with a sharp command—

"Move!"

The Tsuchikage, the Raikage, the Mizukage, and their elite guards all launched forward—

Charging straight toward Uzumaki Naruto.

The clash between Konoha's Hokage and the united force of three great villages had officially begun.
