After Chinya proposed going to the Land of Grass to Orochimaru, he began handing over his responsibilities.

In their eyes, joining Minato Namikaze's squad together meant bowing their heads to him.

Although Kyousuke and the others had been suppressed by Chinya for years, deep inside, they remained proud and unwilling to yield to anyone.

So it was better to accept Nara Shouji's arrangement and join their designated squads.

Chinya replied casually, "I don't owe you any explanations about where I go."

Minato sighed, "You really haven't changed—not the slightest bit sociable."

Chinya snapped back, "That's one correct thing you've said. I haven't changed—I still hate you as always."

Minato smiled without taking offense and continued, "Before heading to the Land of Grass, shouldn't you return to Konoha first?

I'm also planning to go back. Right now, Konoha is preparing for total war. Once battle fully erupts, even Genin will be sent to the frontlines. To strengthen these young shinobi, I've been assigned to lead a team of three students. As another Jonin, you must have received this same order too, right?"

Chinya curled his lips slightly, "I do plan to return to Konoha, but I won't be babysitting kids."

Minato admitted, "That's right. This time, I really came here hoping for a battle with you. After all, once you head to the Land of Grass, we'll be on two separate battlefields, making it difficult to meet again. I wanted to take this chance to challenge you once more for a sparring match.

I was hoping to catch up a little first—we did spend all those years together in the Land of Hot Water, fighting side by side after all..."

"I'm ready now, Chinya."

"Then let's begin!"

At the very moment Chinya finished speaking, Minato threw both Flying Thunder God Kunai in his hands, attacking Chinya from two different directions.

Chinya activated his Sharingan and observed Minato's Flying Thunder God Kunai.

[Flying Thunder God Technique] enables teleportation through the use of marked seals. The user pre-marks their target with the Flying Thunder God seal formula, enabling instantaneous movement of either the user or objects indirectly connected via the user's chakra.
