The next day, Naruto and his team gathered at the Ninja Academy.

As soon as they entered, they spotted Rock Lee—dressed in his usual green jumpsuit, his bowl-cut hair and thick eyebrows standing out—being knocked to the ground by two Konoha Chūnin acting as gatekeepers.

"Are you brats really planning to take the Chūnin Exams like this?" one of the guards sneered. "You'd better quit now before embarrassing our village."

Tenten hurried to help Lee up, looking aggrieved. "Please, just let us through."

One of the gatekeepers suddenly raised his hand to slap her, but before it could land, something hard smacked into his palm—a durian.

"Who the hell—?!" The guard recoiled, clutching his stinging hand.

A blond-haired, blue-eyed young man in a regal-looking cloak squatted nearby, grinning.

"Yo~," Naruto greeted casually.

At that moment, Sakura and Sasuke arrived behind him. Sasuke, with his hands in his pockets, scoffed. "Tch. That weak Genjutsu barrier isn't fooling anyone. Just drop it already—we're heading to the third floor."

One of the disguised Chūnin smirked. "So you saw through it? Doesn't matter. Strength is what really counts!" He lashed out with a kick aimed at Sasuke.

Suddenly, Lee blurred into motion, appearing in front of Sasuke in an instant.

Naruto snorted. "Ugh, here comes the dramatic entrance."

Tenten turned to him, puzzled. "What do you mean?"

Naruto jerked his thumb toward Sasuke.

With a loud BANG, Lee was sent flying.

Tenten, Neji, Sakura, and the disguised gatekeepers: ???

Sasuke stood frozen, dumbfounded. What the hell just happened?

Tenten and Neji exchanged wary glances. Lee's Taijutsu was exceptional—even Neji acknowledged his skill.

And yet, he had just been launched like a ragdoll by a freshly graduated Genin?

Naruto smirked, trying not to burst out laughing. These guys really thought Sasuke was still some weakling only good at Ninjutsu?

Since childhood, Sasuke had been training in Kame-Senryu, which had left him with a ripped physique—his abs alone could make any artist rage-quit.

With his weighted training suit on top of that, Lee's enhanced strikes weren't enough to counter Sasuke's instinctive counter-kick.

With a blur, Lee reappeared. "You're fast!" Sakura gasped.

"Ahem." Lee coughed awkwardly.

Tenten and Neji approached. Neji sighed. "This wasn't how this was supposed to go. You said you wanted to keep a low profile, didn't you?"

Lee scratched his head, glancing at Sakura, his face burning red.

Tenten rolled her eyes. Hopeless.

Naruto stepped in, dramatically shaking his head. "Tsk, tsk. How could you let such a lovely lady take a hit for you?"

With a flick of his wrist, a rose appeared in his hand.

He handed it to Tenten with a flirtatious grin. "Ah, my dear beauty, you captivate me like this flower~ Would you like to merge our souls and bodies in a passionate whirlwind of fate? Perhaps a romantic rendezvous beneath the moonlight?"

Sasuke and Sakura immediately took two steps back, pretending not to know him.

Tenten stared at him, face blank, before turning away, completely ignoring him.

Meanwhile, Lee stepped in front of Sakura, his eyes sparkling. "My name is Rock Lee! You are Haruno Sakura, correct? Please go out with me! I will protect you with my life!"

Neji and Tenten both calmly took two steps back.

What the actual fk?!** Sasuke, Neji, and Tenten all thought simultaneously.

Sakura's expression darkened, a massive vein bulging on her forehead.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT! NOT IN THIS LIFE! NOT EVEN IF I DIED! YOUR EYEBROWS ARE TOO THICK!" she yelled.

Lee immediately crouched in the corner, drawing sad circles on the floor.

Neji, meanwhile, turned to Sasuke. "Hey, you over there—state your name."

Sasuke huffed. "Hmph. Shouldn't you introduce yourself first before demanding my name?"

Neji narrowed his eyes. "Are you a new Genin? How old are you?"

Sasuke gave him a bored look. "Not interested in answering."

"Nani?!" Neji's veins bulged slightly. This brat thinks he's untouchable?

Meanwhile, Naruto crouched beside Lee, snickering. "Damn, look at those two over there. A battle of pretentiousness."

Lee mumbled, still sulking. "Sakura thinks my eyebrows are too thick…"

"Sasuke, Naruto, let's go," Sakura called, eager to escape this mess.

Meanwhile, behind the door, the two disguised Chūnin dropped their transformation, sweat trickling down their backs.

What the hell was with these kids?! One of them flexed his leg, still aching from that earlier impact. Damn, I almost broke my foot!

Sasuke scoffed as they walked. "Tch. The candidates this year are a mess, huh, Naruto?"

"Hmm?" Naruto, lost in thought, glanced over.

The glint in Sasuke's eyes made Naruto's body tense instinctively.

Wait… why does this feel weird? What's with that look?

Suddenly, disturbing memories of certain books from his past life surfaced. Naruto's ass clenched on reflex.

No way…

Shooting forward, Naruto grabbed Sasuke by the shoulders, his expression dead serious.

"Sasuke! Listen to me! Your mission is to revive the Uchiha Clan! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE BETWEEN US!"

Sasuke: "???"
