Chapter 204: Side Story Uzumaki Naruto

It had been 4 years since Naruto had come to this world. He had grown bigger and taller. According to his age, he is 19 years old, just a few months before turning 20 years old.

Since coming here, he learned about family and the joy of having them, Grandpa Namikaze, Grandma, his parents as kids, and many more. Setsuna had become his teacher, and with the right teacher, he managed to become stronger. Compared to before, he might be 100 times stronger after his outing with Jiraiya-sensei.

Boruto, who was supposed to be his son, had grown much closer with him. Not only that, because they were almost the same age, they had trained together, and he couldn't fathom losing to Boruto. How could a father lose to his son?

So he trained really hard, from mathematics to teleportation jutsu, he had learned all of it. He should have been satisfied with his current life, but he could not, because there was still something unsettling. He had asked the other Sasuke about the future, and hearing about the frame-up by the Third Hokage and seeing the Third Hokage in this timeline made him hate the man even more.

He also learned from Setsuna that it was impossible for him to not have enough money. So his money was being embezzled by the Third Hokage and his cronies.

If he didn't return to the future, what about Sasuke? What would happen to Konoha? What would Obito do? That was why he wanted to go back and solve the problem.

Finally, Setsuna announced that the gate had been repaired and they both could return to their timeline.

Before they left this timeline, they held one last eating party.

They left with tears, and Naruto knew this might be the last time he could see all of them. He cried a lot that night.

All of them gave a gift to him. Naruto also took a picture and video as a memory of his time living in this world.

Before he reached the gate, Setsuna made two special clones which wouldn't dissolve even if attacked, and they followed both Naruto and Sasuke to two different timelines.

His special clones had been upgraded, and they would dissolve after a year instead of a month.

Naruto opened his eyes and saw his sensei sitting nearby.

"Wake up, Naruto?" asked Clone Setsuna.

"Yeah, sensei. Did we return back?" asked Naruto.

"Yes. So, Naruto, which one do you want to save first?" asked Clone Setsuna.

"Let's save Sasuke first. We must tell him everything about his brother Itachi," replied Naruto.

"Okay," said Setsuna before closing his eyes and entering Sage Mode. He tried to search for the same chakra that future Sasuke had, and he found it within seconds.

"Let's go, Naruto. I found him," said Setsuna, offering his hand to Kamui them near Sasuke.

Naruto reached for Setsuna's hand, and they both Kamui'd near Sasuke.

Sasuke, who was with Juzo, Karin, and Hozuki, had just camped and were eating some food before heading out to find Itachi, was startled.

A/N: In the original timeline, this is the battle before Sasuke fights Deidara.

They were startled and reached for their weapons.

"Sasuke," he heard someone calling his name. The voice was very familiar but sounded more mature and commanding.

Naruto at this time had some glow-up. His outfit was the same as in Naruto: The Last, but he was a lot taller.

"Na… Naruto?" said Sasuke, surprised. "You—what are you doing here? I'm not going back to Konoha."

The other three people also noticed that the person was actually from Konoha.

"You, Sasuke, are still stubborn. It seems I need to beat you harder," said Naruto before attacking him. Sasuke, who didn't want to listen, decided to fight Naruto too.

But when he faced Naruto, he felt something weird. Why did this boy look taller than him?

---Time Skip 10 minutes, because this is just a side story, didn't want to make it long---

Sasuke was beaten and could not move any longer. His three minions were stuck by Setsuna with Conqueror's Haki. They didn't dare to move, but Karin, who was infatuated with Sasuke, still dared to resist him.

"If you help now, Sasuke will hate you," said Setsuna.

"What?" Karin looked at Setsuna, shocked.

"This is a fight between two friends, and if someone else interrupts, Sasuke would lose face, and he will hate you."

"But…" said Karin before she was cut off.

"Don't worry, they are friends, and Naruto won't kill his friend. He just wants to teach him a lesson."

Setsuna glanced up. It seemed Sasuke could no longer move. Naruto training under him had really borne fruit. Even if Obito came, Naruto might defeat him easily.

"Are you Uchiha Sasuke?" said Setsuna.

Sasuke, who had just had a heated argument after losing to Naruto, finally took notice of Setsuna.

"Who are you?" asked Sasuke.

Setsuna glanced at him before activating his Sharingan.

"Is this answering your question?" asked Setsuna.

"You… impossible," said Sasuke.

"Yes, I am Uchiha Setsuna," he introduced himself.

"Setsuna? I've never heard your name and never seen your face in the clan. How did you survive?" replied Sasuke.

"It's easy, because I am not from this timeline. You could say I am from a past timeline," said Setsuna.

"Sasuke, I went to the past and met Setsuna-sensei. I told him what happened in the future, and he was interested in coming to meet you," added Naruto.

"You're from the past?" asked Sasuke, looking at Setsuna.

Setsuna nodded.

"I heard what happened to the clan from Naruto, and I want to hear everything from you," said Setsuna.

Maybe because Sasuke had long been alone, he felt a bit happy and began telling his grievances and sorrow to Setsuna.

"Sasuke, you are being fooled by Itachi," commented Setsuna after Sasuke finished telling him his story.

Sasuke was stunned, and Setsuna decided to explain the conspiracy in Konoha and told him about Danzo.

"How… how do you know about this?" asked Sasuke.

"That's because the future you was also transported to my timeline, and he shared what actually happened to his clan," said Setsuna.

Sasuke became silent. Setsuna explanation was very valid and sounded genuine.

"So what will you do in the future? Do you really want to kill Itachi, who has been ready to be killed by you?" said Setsuna.

"I…" If he killed Itachi, that meant he fulfilled Itachi wish.
