The two red-haired Sunagakure ninja whose heads had been successfully taken by Hyuga Soushu died rather suddenly, leaving their bodies mostly intact.

Soushu pulled Mahiru into a tight embrace and kissed her again!

But better yet, the rewards he gained weren't just experience for leveling up!

Out of those six system notifications, two were level-up alerts; another two announced the slaying of Jonin enemies, each granting him 300 Coins!

But most importantly—there were also two additional notifications rewarding him for achieving legendary status through finishing moves!

And both granted the maximum of 500 Coins!

Hyuga Soushu quickly figured out the reason behind receiving the "Epic Legendary" reward.

Forget about past events — not long ago, they had slaughtered far more than eight Konoha ninjas at the watchpost. So after killing those two enemies, it was perfectly reasonable for Soushu to claim both "Epic Legendary" rewards.

A sudden realization struck Hyuga Soushu.
