Chapter 164: I Am Your Fiancé!

Four shadows silently reached the battlefield.

At this moment, Obito was relentlessly pursuing the remaining Kages, crushing them with overwhelming force.

Even Hashirama, the legendary God of Shinobi, was rendered helpless. His wood-style techniques were ineffective, unable to harm Obito in the slightest.

For Hashirama, this was perhaps the most frustrating battle of his life.

This prompted Madara to secretly assist, intending to weaken Obito enough to execute his plan to achieve true resurrection.

However, before the shadows could act, Obito's body suddenly underwent a bizarre transformation.

Madara smirked as he observed Obito's predicament.

Madara canceled his Limbo: Border Jail technique, deciding to sit back and watch Obito unravel under his own inadequacy.

"Rin!"

Obito's voice, strained and filled with agony, echoed across the battlefield.

As the Ten-Tails' consciousness began eroding his mind, Obito's memories of the past began to resurface.

He recalled the time he had spent with Rin and Kakashi, their smiles, and their shared dreams.

But now, those cherished memories were slipping away like sand through his fingers, distorted and shattered by the overwhelming presence of the Ten-Tails.

"Rin… no… I can't lose you again!"

In a last-ditch effort, Obito summoned all his willpower, fueled by his obsession with Rin, and managed to momentarily suppress the Ten-Tails' influence.

Obito's bizarre transformation caught everyone off guard.

The Kages, who had been bracing themselves for an uphill battle, were left stunned as their seemingly invincible opponent collapsed into a chaotic mass of flesh.

"What's happening to him?"

Tobirama's voice carried a mix of confusion and vigilance.

Minato, however, didn't hesitate.

"This is our chance!"

He charged toward Obito, determined to deliver the final blow.

But their hesitation gave Obito the time he needed.

The grotesque white mass receded, folding back into Obito's body as he underwent a new metamorphosis.

When he re-emerged, he was clad in the attire of a Sage of Six Paths—black robes with white patterns, wielding a black staff tipped with a circular blade. Behind him floated nine truth-seeking orbs, emanating an aura of destruction.

"Finally… I've completed my transformation," Obito said in a low, calm voice.

"Sensei… look at me now!"

Minato's eyes narrowed as he rushed forward with a flying Raijin kunai, aiming for Obito's heart.

But Obito effortlessly blocked the attack with his staff, shattering the kunai on contact.

He followed up by striking Minato with his other hand, tearing off his arm in one swift motion.

Minato, realizing his regeneration was no longer working, teleported away, only to be pursued by a truth-seeking orb that detonated upon reaching him.

The resulting explosion engulfed several kilometers, causing massive destruction.

High above the battlefield, Uchiha Yi watched the chaos unfold from his fiery throne.

His attention was drawn to Mei Terumi, who had been caught in the explosion's radius.

With a wave of his hand, Yi used Universal Pull, yanking Mei away from danger and onto his throne.

"Where… where am I?" Mei gasped, disoriented by her sudden relocation.

Looking around, she realized she was seated on a floating throne of fire, thousands of meters above the battlefield.

"What's going on—wait, YOU?!"

Her eyes locked onto Yi, who was smirking mischievously.

"Yes, it's me," Yi said, his tone teasing. "How does it feel sitting on my lap?"

Mei immediately froze, realizing her current position. She was straddling Yi, with her arms instinctively gripping his shoulders for balance.

Flustered, Mei's face turned a deep shade of crimson.

"You… you pervert!" she yelled, struggling to free herself.

"Relax," Yi chuckled. "If you move too much, you might fall… and we're very high up."

Realizing the danger, Mei stopped struggling, though her glare remained fierce.

"Why did you bring me here?!" Mei demanded.

"To save you, of course," Yi replied casually. "Besides, I couldn't let anything happen to my fiancée."

"F-fiancée?!" Mei stammered.

"Have you forgotten?" Yi said, his smirk widening. "Years ago, you promised me that when I grew up, you'd marry me. And now, here I am."

"That was a joke!" Mei retorted, her voice a mix of embarrassment and frustration.

"Well, I took it seriously," Yi said. "And I'm not letting you go now."

Mei was left speechless, torn between indignation and the lingering realization that she owed her life to him.

Meanwhile, back on the battlefield, Obito's reign of terror continued, his newfound power making him an unstoppable force.

As the remaining Kages scrambled to regroup, Madara watched from a distance, his expression unreadable.

"Obito… you've become a worthy obstacle," Madara murmured, his Rinnegan glinting ominously.

"But no matter how strong you've become, the plan will proceed as I intended."
