Chapter 154: Only Madara Can Defeat Hashirama!

After retrieving the second Kamui Mangekyō Sharingan, Uchiha Obito did not immediately replace his Rinnegan with it. Without the Rinnegan, he couldn't control the Gedo Statue, and the resurrection of the Ten-Tails required one final piece: the Nine-Tails.

With Kakashi's Mangekyō Sharingan no longer a threat, Obito felt that no one could stop him now. Not even the legendary Hashirama Senju or the resurrected Madara Uchiha could make him falter.

However, Obito couldn't ignore the curse mark on his chest.

Placed by Madara Uchiha, the mark was a safeguard ensuring Obito's compliance with the Moon Eye Plan. While Obito had used the vast number of Sharingan he possessed to neutralize most of Madara's restraints through Izanagi, the curse on his heart remained.

It was an ever-present reminder of Madara's control over him—a ticking time bomb that could activate at any moment.

Originally, Obito had hoped Kakashi might help remove the curse. But seeing Kakashi's lackluster performance during their battle, Obito couldn't suppress his frustration and unleashed his anger through the Rinnegan. Though it felt good to vent, the real problem remained unsolved.

"I'll have to find another way to deal with this curse before Madara is revived," Obito muttered, his expression dark.

After exiting the Kamui dimension, Obito reappeared on the battlefield. He discarded Kakashi like a broken tool, leaving him barely alive but irrelevant.

"From now on, we are no longer connected," Obito thought coldly. He would let Kakashi witness the creation of his ideal world but saw no need to waste further energy on him.

Back on the battlefield, Hashirama Senju had unleashed his full power.

"Wood Release: Flowering Tree World!"

With a clap of his hands, enormous tree roots erupted from the ground, spreading across the battlefield in all directions. In seconds, the terrain transformed into a sprawling forest of towering trees, their presence dominating the battlefield.

Onlookers, many witnessing Hashirama's legendary jutsu for the first time, were left in awe and fear. They realized how insignificant they were compared to the God of Shinobi.

The attack turned the tide of the battle. The White Zetsu Army and the Edo Tensei forces, now exposed, were ensnared by the ever-growing branches. The wood's chakra-absorbing properties rendered them powerless, unable to escape or fight back.

"Sealing team, move in!" Hashirama ordered, his booming voice echoing across the battlefield.

The sealing squad sprang into action, locking away the immobilized Edo Tensei warriors. One by one, the battlefield began to clear of enemies.

From a hidden vantage point, Black Zetsu watched the scene unfold, his expression grim.

"Hashirama's strength is unparalleled," Black Zetsu muttered. "The only one who could defeat him... is Madara."

Black Zetsu clenched his spectral hands in frustration. Despite all the preparations, Hashirama had single-handedly dismantled their carefully laid plans.

"The Edo Tensei army and the White Zetsu forces are finished," he realized. "Obito can't handle this alone. It's time to bring Madara back into play."

Reluctantly, Black Zetsu retreated to enact the next phase of his plan: reviving Madara Uchiha.

Elsewhere on the battlefield, the Akatsuki members were faltering.

Fatigue and the overwhelming number of Allied Shinobi Forces began to take their toll. One by one, the Akatsuki members fell, either captured or sealed away.

Deidara, who had been battling Onoki, was finally subdued by his former master. Hidan and Kakuzu, despite their immortality, were overwhelmed by the Fourth Raikage's sheer power. Kisame and Zabuza, who had been facing the Mist Village forces, were subdued as well.

The tide of the battle had shifted entirely in favor of the Allied Forces.

Back at the center of the battlefield, Obito stood atop the Gedo Statue, his lone figure defiant against the sea of enemies below.

"Obito!"

From the chaos, Might Guy spotted Kakashi lying in the distance. Racing to his side, Guy crouched down to check on his friend.

"Kakashi, are you alright?"

"I'm fine," Kakashi replied weakly. His body was battered, and his arms were nearly useless, but his mind was sharp. "Guy... I've discovered Obito's weakness. You need to tell the others."

Kakashi quickly explained what he had deduced during their battle: Obito's Kamui could only make parts of his body intangible while simultaneously transporting them to his pocket dimension. This meant that whenever Obito attacked, he had to momentarily solidify, creating a narrow window of vulnerability.

"I see," Guy said, nodding. "I'll relay this to the others. You just stay here and rest."

Guy sprinted off to inform the Allied leaders. When Tsunade, Hashirama, and Tobirama heard the news, they quickly formulated a plan.

"Even with this information, defeating him won't be easy," Tobirama remarked. "His timing and mastery of Kamui are exceptional."

"True," Hashirama agreed, his gaze fixed on Obito. "But if his goal is the Nine-Tails, he'll have to solidify eventually. That's when we'll strike."

Nearby, Minato listened silently. As Obito's former teacher, he felt a deep sense of responsibility for his wayward student. But now, it was clear: Obito had chosen his path.

"Everyone, step back," Hashirama commanded. "This fight is beyond the scope of ordinary shinobi."

The other Allied Forces withdrew, leaving Hashirama, Tobirama, Minato, and the other top-tier fighters to confront Obito.

From his perch atop the Gedo Statue, Obito looked down on them with disdain. He showed no fear, even in the face of the combined might of the Allied Shinobi Forces.

Hashirama stepped forward, his expression serious.

"Obito," he called out. "Your plans end here. We won't let you resurrect the Ten-Tails."

Obito smirked beneath his mask.

"Do you think you can stop me?" he taunted. "I've already come too far to turn back now."

Hashirama's eyes narrowed. He knew this battle would not be easy.

The battle for the future of the ninja world was about to reach its climax.
