Chapter 119: Infiltrating the Enemy's Base!

Though Uchiha Yi had successfully entered the moon's inner space, he couldn't recall the exact location of the Tenseigan. He would have to spend some time searching for it.

Using brute force to create a commotion and draw out Ōtsutsuki Toneri was an absolute last resort. If his power was too overwhelming, it might scare them into hiding, making the search even more difficult.

While the moon was smaller than the Earth, its surface area was still vast. For someone just over six feet tall, finding one or two individuals hiding deliberately was like searching for a needle in a haystack.

In a palace, an elderly man dressed in white robes observed Uchiha Yi through a glowing sphere. His brows furrowed in concern.

The elderly man controlled everything that happened on the moon and monitored events on Earth. He recognized Yi's face from his surveillance of the shinobi world.

Uchiha Yi was a prominent figure in the ninja world, but his sudden appearance on the moon baffled the elder.

"Did he come through the spatial pathway?"

He quickly dismissed the thought.

Yi had appeared without warning on the moon's outer layer, then broken through to the inner layer. If he had used the spatial pathway, he would have arrived directly inside.

The elder couldn't fathom how Yi had achieved this feat or what his intentions were. However, Yi's actions suggested hostility.

"Since he has discovered the moon's secret, he must never leave here alive."

The elder was determined to keep the moon's existence a secret, especially since Toneri Ōtsutsuki had not yet fully matured.

Although he was aware of Yi's strength, he believed that with proper planning, eliminating him was achievable.

Shortly after, the artificial sun overhead opened a concealed hatch.

From the opening, a massive army of puppets emerged, flying straight toward Uchiha Yi in a formation that darkened the skies.

The sheer scale of the deployment was impossible to ignore.

"Perfect timing!" Yi smirked. "I was just looking for you."

As the puppet army surrounded him, Yi remained calm, standing his ground.

The puppets hovered in place momentarily before raising their palms, each glowing with chakra.

In an instant, countless beams of energy shot toward Yi, leaving no room for escape.

The barrage of chakra beams lit up the sky like fireworks, reducing the ground around Yi to rubble and filling the air with smoke and dust.

Inside the palace, the elder watched the scene intently through his surveillance sphere.

"Did that finish him?"

Even though the attack continued for five minutes without pause, the elder was cautious.

He ordered the puppets to stop firing and summoned a gust of wind to disperse the smoke, revealing the aftermath.

The ground where Yi had stood was unrecognizable, but there was no trace of his body.

The elder scanned the surrounding area with his enhanced perception but found no sign of Yi.

"Could he really be dead?"

Despite his doubts, further inspections yielded no evidence of Yi's survival.

Satisfied, the elder concluded that Yi had been obliterated.

"So this so-called ninja powerhouse was nothing after all," the elder sneered. "Their reputations are clearly exaggerated."

Unbeknownst to the elder, Yi had survived the attack unscathed.

As soon as the puppet army began firing, Yi had used Fire Elemental Transformation to avoid damage. While the energy beams wreaked havoc on the terrain, they couldn't harm his elemental form.

During the chaos, Yi threw several kunai marked with Flying Thunder God seals toward the direction the puppets had come from.

Once inside the safety of his Fire Space, Yi tracked the kunai and began following the puppet army's retreat.

"This will lead me straight to their base," Yi mused, his plan unfolding perfectly.

The elder, convinced of Yi's death, ordered the puppets to return. Their movement provided Yi the perfect cover to infiltrate their stronghold.

After some time, the puppet army arrived at the artificial sun.

As they approached, the sun's surface opened, revealing an entrance. The puppets flew inside in an orderly fashion.

Yi observed from his hidden vantage point.

"So this is where you're hiding."

He noticed that the artificial sun was equipped with seals designed to block perception, which explained why he hadn't been able to detect the base earlier.

Without the puppets' retreat, finding this location would have been nearly impossible.

Once the last puppet entered, the entrance began to close.

Yi quickly activated his Flying Thunder God seal and teleported inside, using the kunai he had thrown earlier.

"Now, let's see what secrets you're hiding."

Yi's infiltration was flawless, and he now stood within the heart of the enemy's domain.
