Chapter 66: Chapter 65: Wood Release
Training Grounds
Naruto was currently in the midst of his wind nature transformation training, working hard to master Wind Release.
Kakashi had already taught him the fundamentals, and he'd been practicing diligently ever since.
In Naruto's eyes, daily repetition was the key if he wanted to perfect his wind chakra transformation, there was no shortcut.
The more proficient he became at manipulating wind chakra, the more powerful and efficient his jutsu would be in the future.
And he had already made solid progress. His Great Breakthrough jutsu was far stronger than when he had first begun.
"Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!" he called out, forming the familiar hand seal.
In a puff of smoke, thirty shadow clones appeared around him.
"Using shadow clones for training really is a genius method," Naruto muttered, satisfied.
"Why didn't I think of this earlier? If I hadn't stumbled across this while practicing nature transformation, I'd still be stuck trying to force chakra into a leaf all day."
The shadow clone method had boosted his learning speed drastically what once took days now only took hours.
He even tried testing whether shadow clones affected his golden panel , but to his disappointment, it didn't.
Still, the benefits were undeniable. His reflexes, battle awareness, and chakra control were steadily improving from daily physical and mental training.
Every shadow clone Naruto summoned just now was contributing in some way in his training.
Ten clones were focused on refining wind nature transformation.
Five others were repeatedly performing the Great Breakthrough jutsu with limited chakra, aiming for consistency and efficiency.
The remaining fifteen were split between taijutsu drills and shuriken practice to keep his combat instincts sharp.
Meanwhile, not far from the training field, Harada was busy milking Yamato dry.
Giving the poor wood-style user one ridiculous construction request after another as part of Naruto's new house project.
By noon, Naruto finally wrapped up his training session, drenched in sweat and visibly exhausted.
Still catching his breath, he decided to check his panel once more to see how much progress he had made.
after all, it had been more than two weeks since he last looked at it.

Seeing the updated panel, Naruto smiled in satisfaction.
"Two weeks of hard training… and I shaved off two months. Not bad at all," he muttered.
"Progress like this makes it all worth it."
Feeling good, he started heading toward the Hyuga compound, specifically, the land he had recently purchased nearby.
He walked with eager steps but also a bit of skepticism.
"Let's see if anything's changed. As long as the main house is built, I'm good. They can always finish the rest later."
But the moment Naruto arrived at his newly purchased land, he froze in shock.
"Did I… come to the wrong place?" he muttered, staring wide-eyed at the transformation before him.
Just a few hours ago, it was an empty field with absolutely nothing in sight. But now, It looked completely different.
For a moment, he seriously doubted whether he was even in the right location.
But the surroundings were the same with no neighboring houses nearby and the same stream running alongside which confirmed it.
This was his land.
The entire area was now enclosed with neatly built, shoulder-height wooden fencing.
Inside stood a modern two-story house, surrounded by multiple newly constructed structures that he couldn't even identify from the gate.
As Naruto stepped through the fence, still dazed, he spotted Harada near the entrance, arms crossed and proudly watching Yamato work.
Harada turned and grinned. "Ah, just in time, Naruto! We're in the finishing phase should be done in half an hour, max."
Naruto stared at him, then back at the house, then again at him.
He really couldn't fathom how could anyone get all of this done so quickly.
It was almost complete...walls, roofs, even the garden paths looked set.
The transformation was so surreal, Naruto felt like he'd stepped into someone else's property.
"Come on, let me give you a tour," Harada said smoothly, waving Naruto in with a smile.
A surprising number of things had been built in just a few short hours.
The main highlight was a fully furnished two-story residence, complete with multiple bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a large, modern kitchen.
It looked perfect in Naruto's opinion.
Right next to the house was a personal training ground, equipped with reinforced wooden dummies and plenty of open space for sparing and movement drills.
Seeing it, Naruto let out a small sigh of relief.
'Thank God they included a training ground,' he thought. 'Now I can train at home without needing to head out every time.'
Beyond that, the property held even more surprises a small pond with crystal-clear water, a well-kept garden filled with blooming flowers, a few grown trees and shrubs, and even a cozy little hot spring tucked into a corner of the yard.
"…"
How did they even grow trees this big in just a few hours?
Naruto stared at the garden, baffled by the presence of fully grown plants and trees that definitely weren't there earlier.
But in the end, he was thrilled. Everything had been designed and arranged with surprising care.
He was genuinely satisfied with how everything turned out and happy knowing he could finally live here from now on.
As they returned to the main house, Naruto finally noticed another figure standing nearby.
A young man with a pale face was leaning heavily against the wall, clearly on the verge of collapsing.
Sweat clung to his brow, and his breath came in short, tired bursts.
"Yamato, have you finished all the work?" Harada asked casually, as if the poor man wasn't halfway to the afterlife.
Yamato straightened slightly, still gasping. "Harada Senpai… most of it is done. Just one last thing is left which is the hidden vault."
Hidden vault?
Naruto's eyes lit up at the mention.
A hidden vault? That's it! I'll store my ramen stash in there! Let's see anyone try to steal it again especially here,
next to the Hyuga clan and their 'see-everything' eyes. Enhanced security, baby!
The mental image of ramen thieves crying as they failed to open the vault was deeply satisfying.
After regaining some of his chakra, Yamato stumbled forward and got to work.
Under Naruto's curious gaze, he walked into the kitchen and placed his hands on the ground.
BAM!
With a steady flow of chakra, thick wooden pillars erupted and twisted together, shaping seamlessly into a hidden storage vault, beautifully integrated beneath the kitchen floor.
Naruto's jaw dropped.
'W-Wait… WHAT THE—?!'
That technique—it wasn't just Earth Release. It was Wood Release.
'W-Wood Release?! Isn't that supposed to be… like… the First Hokage's legendary kekkei genkai?!'
He rubbed his eyes furiously, convinced he must be hallucinating. But no, the vault was real.
The floor had closed back over the top of it, camouflaged perfectly, and Yamato was dusting off his hands like he'd just built a Lego set.
Naruto stared, completely shell-shocked.
