Naruto: Awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan, and Unify the Ninja World

Chapter 185: Chapter 185

Speaking of which, the Three Kage Alliance on the other side is about to convene.

Should we stir up some chaos and wipe them all out in one go?

As the tides of war in the shinobi world gradually became clearer, Tsunade voiced this thought while watching Uchiha Shin lounging around, seemingly unbothered.

Uchiha Shin narrowed his eyes at her and let out a sigh. "You're a bit too extreme."

"???"

Tsunade almost lost her temper at that.

Too extreme? Wasn't this exactly his style?

Seeing her dumbfounded expression, Uchiha Shin blushed slightly and muttered, "Ahem! Their alliance doesn't really matter. I'm too lazy to interfere.

And what can the combined forces of three villages even do?"

He smirked. "If anything, they're just making it easier for me. Once they gather, I can collect the Tailed Beasts and slaughter them all at once.

I've been busy, okay?"

Tsunade shot him a deadpan look.

"Busy? You drag us to parties every other day. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays—and let's not even talk about the weekends. You specifically pull Mikoto, Kushina, Kaname, and the others into your mess. I didn't know you were into that."

Her eyes narrowed. "And that priestess from the Land of Demons? The one who practically worships you now? What kind of spell did you put on her? She prays to you like you're some deity."

Tsunade crossed her arms. "And don't think I haven't noticed your 'cosplay' phases. The hell is with that 'Pirate King' outfit? I know you're having fun playing around."

Shin awkwardly cleared his throat, looking away.

Tsunade wasn't done.

"And the Ninja Academy—it's supposed to be for training future shinobi, not for you to scout 'potential' candidates before they even graduate!"

"…"

Tsunade listed everything, and for the first time in a long while, Shin was at a loss for words.

Finally, he just placed his hands on his hips and huffed. "See? This is exactly what I mean! So many responsibilities! I barely have time to breathe!"

Tsunade rolled her eyes. "Responsibilities?"

Shin continued, completely ignoring her expression. "And don't forget—I still need to study the Sealing Jutsu of the Six Paths. Ever since I perfected my Rinnegan's final evolution, there's been an increase in its activity. I'm approaching the final stages of transformation."

He crossed his arms, nodding as if he had genuinely suffered through immense hardship.

Tsunade exhaled deeply. "Right. And let's not forget your 'diplomatic' efforts with the Three Serpent Queens in Ryūchi Cave. Or the 'allies' you recruited from the Dragon's Roost."

Her brow twitched. "You really expect me to believe you 'befriended' them? I met the Serpent Queens myself, Shin. There is no way you 'killed' them like you claimed."

"Ahem! Can we not mention that? What, are you going to rebel against me now?"

Uchiha Shin stood defiantly, shamelessly embracing his antics.

Tsunade, shaking her head, chose to let it go. The Dragon Queens he had created were undeniably powerful, even if their personalities were… questionable.

Their raw strength alone put them at the peak of the battlefield, just under herself. And with their mastery over the Eight Gates, their combat abilities could jump entire tiers.

Tsunade never saw them as romantic rivals. They were more like children. Mischievous, dangerous children.

Just like Shin.

"Anyway, Tsunade," Shin's smirk widened. "Did you call me here for a serious discussion, or are you just looking for an excuse to—"

Tsunade slapped his hand away from her waist before he could finish.

"I called you for business," she said flatly. "And besides, I need to rest for a while."

Shin raised an eyebrow. "Rest?"

Tsunade sighed. "Let's just say I might've overdone it recently. My chakra reserves need time to replenish."

Shin's lips curled upward, amused.

Tsunade ignored him. "This is about the Uchiha Clan."

That got his attention.

"Oh? The Uchiha?"

His interest finally piqued, he turned toward her, his demeanor shifting into something sharper.

Tsunade nodded. "You know the Anbu have been keeping an eye on the major clans. Even though you're technically part of the Uchiha, that doesn't exempt them from surveillance."

Shin scoffed. "You think I care about that?" He waved a hand dismissively. "If it's about some rebellion, just say it. Are they planning something?"

Tsunade shook her head. "Not a rebellion. But there are… certain individuals acting suspiciously. Specifically, the ones you told us to monitor."

Shin's gaze sharpened. "You mean Shisui and Obito? The ones from Kagami's bloodline?"

Tsunade nodded.

Shin let out a dry chuckle. "That figures. That whole side of the family still clings to the 'Will of Fire' nonsense."

Uchiha Kagami had been a shinobi willing to sacrifice himself for Konoha. His ideals had been passed down through his descendants, shaping them into loyalists devoted to the old ways.

To them, Shin's actions—his war against Hiruzen, the destruction of the feudal lords, the reshaping of the shinobi world—were all an unforgivable betrayal.

They simply lacked the strength to do anything about it.

"So?" Shin asked. "What did they do?"

"It's not what they did," Tsunade said. "It's what one of them became."

Shin's eyes narrowed.

"Shisui. He awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan."

Silence.

Tsunade continued, "It happened during the last border conflict. The Anbu intercepted some of his conversations afterward. He believes he can 'prevent war' with his new abilities."

Shin chuckled, a dark amusement in his voice. "Prevent war? That's cute."

Tsunade frowned. "You don't find that concerning?"

Shin tapped his chin thoughtfully. "No, no, I do. It's just… interesting. I always had my eye on him. His potential was obvious."

Tsunade crossed her arms. "You monitored him because you planned to take his eyes."

Shin didn't deny it.

"And now?" she asked.

Shin smirked. "Now?"

His Rinnegan flickered ominously.

"Now I might have to move up the timeline."

Tsunade sighed. "You're seriously going to hunt him down just for that?"

Shin tilted his head. "Come on, Tsunade. You know how this works. If he truly unlocked something powerful, I need it. That's just how the world is."

He turned, already making plans.

"Besides," he mused, "if Shisui thinks he can 'prevent' war, I'd love to see how."

His smirk widened.

"Right before I take those eyes for myself."
