Chapter 183: Chapter 183
Shin-kun, your hair has turned white."
Uchiha Mikoto walked up to Uchiha Shin naturally, her gaze fixed on him. When she spoke, the women around her snapped out of their daze and finally noticed the changes in Shin.
Not only had his hair turned white, but his entire presence had become more extraordinary. His aura was different now—sharper, almost divine.
"How come his skin is even paler than mine?"
Tsunade raised an eyebrow, stepping closer with an amused expression. "Shin, put on some women's clothes and tie your hair up—I swear you'd look prettier than me."
Beside her, Mei Terumi nodded in agreement. "I'd like to see that."
Uchiha Shin immediately frowned at them, waving his hand in annoyance. "Get lost. Are these muscles of mine just for decoration?"
To prove his point, he unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his sculpted physique. When clothed, he seemed lean, but once he stripped, his muscular body radiated raw masculinity.
Yet, instead of deterring them, it only made things worse.
The moment he bared his torso, their gazes grew hotter. Even the usually shy Koyuki's eyes widened, her delicate fingers twitching as if they longed to reach out and touch his chest.
"..."
Noticing their strange expressions, Shin quickly pulled his shirt back on. "You women are all hopeless."
As soon as he was clothed again, Tsunade and the others sighed in disappointment.
"We've already seen it before. What's the harm in letting us take another look?" Tsunade huffed, her arms crossed. "Besides, I swear your physique has gotten even better since you went to the moon."
She took a step closer, her golden eyes gleaming with interest. If it weren't for Mei Terumi and the others standing nearby, Shin had a strong feeling that Tsunade might have pounced on him.
Resisting the urge to roll his eyes, he decided to explain briefly. "I encountered the descendants of Otsutsuki Hamura—the Branch and Main families. There was a conflict, the Rinnegan was involved, and, well… things escalated."
Tsunade and the others were stunned by his words.
"If you hadn't told me yourself, I'd think it was some made-up legend," Tsunade muttered.
"Shin, show us your Rinnegan. Didn't you say you awakened it? Let me see it!"
"Oi, oi, why are you trying to strip me again?!"
Tsunade's hands were already reaching toward him, and Shin smacked them away with a deadpan expression.
Damn it. Just because I was busy these past few days, they've all turned into hungry wolves!
Resigning himself to his fate, Shin activated his eyes, revealing the glimmering snow-white Rinnegan. The intricate six-tomoe patterns within them looked otherworldly, almost hypnotic.
Uchiha Mikoto stared in fascination. "It's like a work of art…"
The others nodded in agreement, seemingly entranced. Their hands subconsciously reached forward.
Slap! Slap!
Shin swatted them away, snapping them out of their daze. "Enough already! We have serious matters to discuss!"
Tsunade smirked but relented, rolling her eyes. "You never act this serious when we're messing around in my office."
The playful atmosphere gradually dissipated as Mei Terumi took the lead in reporting their situation.
"The Daimyo of the Land of Water is cooperating without resistance. He saw what happened to the Daimyo of the Land of Fire and immediately surrendered, leaving all political affairs in our hands."
Shin simply shrugged. "As long as they behave, let them be. I have no interest in them."
"Understood. As for infrastructure, the underwater tunnel project between the Land of Water and the Land of Fire is underway, but I suggest putting it on hold for now. We need to prepare for the inevitable Shinobi World War."
Mei's voice carried the weight of responsibility. She understood that war was on the horizon, and the focus had to be shifted.
Shin's face remained indifferent. To be honest, he didn't care about minor logistical details.
Tsunade sighed. "See? I told you, Mei. There's no point discussing trivial matters with Shin—he doesn't give a damn."
Tsunade then moved on to more pressing matters.
"The intelligence network is in place, and our control over the Land of Water has been solidified. Meanwhile, Sunagakure, Kumogakure, and Iwagakure are planning a Three-Kage Summit in the Land of Grass."
Her lips curled into a smirk. "Obviously, they're forming an alliance to resist us. On the same day, I plan to hold a joint live broadcast between the Land of Water and the Land of Fire."
Her eyes gleamed with amusement as she turned to Shin. "Shin, do you want to go up there and give a speech to boost morale?"
Shin arched an eyebrow. "Do I look like a politician to you?"
"Come on, you're the face of this whole operation. A few words wouldn't hurt."
Shin groaned but didn't argue further. He knew she had a point.
Tsunade then pulled out a document, handing it to him with a serious expression.
"Now, this is what I think you'll actually be interested in."
Shin took the file and scanned through it. The content made his expression darken slightly.
"A new rumor is circulating in the Shinobi World," Tsunade explained. "It claims that the legendary Sage of Six Paths' Rinnegan can communicate with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path."
Her voice lowered. "It also says that by gathering all nine tailed beasts, one can recreate the Ten-Tails, obtaining the power of the Sage himself. With that power, they could cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi and dominate the world."
Tsunade looked straight into his eyes. "Sound familiar?"
Shin's fingers tightened slightly around the document.
Someone leaked the secret of his Rinnegan.
Even Tsunade—his closest companion—hadn't heard the rumor until recently. The implications were clear: someone was deliberately stirring chaos.
His mind quickly pieced together the puzzle.
"…Black Zetsu."
Shin's tone was eerily calm.
The pieces clicked into place in his head like a well-oiled machine. Black Zetsu, the manipulator who had twisted history to revive Kaguya Otsutsuki, was now targeting him.
After Madara's death, Shin had gone the extra step of erasing him completely—destroying his remains so that even Edo Tensei wouldn't work.
With no other alternatives, Black Zetsu was now aiming to use him as the next pawn.
By spreading these rumors, Black Zetsu was attempting two things: One, to unite the Shinobi World against him, and two, to subtly guide him toward doing exactly what it wanted—gathering the tailed beasts and reviving the Ten-Tails.
Just like it had done to Madara.
"That bastard's got some nerve," Shin muttered, leaning back as he processed the situation.
Tsunade watched him carefully. "So, what's the plan?"
A cold smirk tugged at Shin's lips.
"Simple. I'll let the world believe whatever they want. But if anyone tries to stand in my way…"
His crimson Sharingan flickered ominously.
"They'll wish they never did."
