Chapter 90: NASM: Chapter 90
"So, you'll take on everyone by yourself, and I'll protect these two kids. Can you do it?" Harumiko asked, smiling.
She wasn't entirely comfortable with the plan; Hiroshi taking on everyone alone would be difficult.
Hiroshi smiled and turned to her. "Yes, don't worry. I'm confident. My strength has grown; it's time to test it. I can't hide forever!"
Rai nodded confidently. "Don't worry, Hiroshi-san. My sister and I will protect our balloons; we won't let the enemy burst them."
Hiroshi smiled and patted Rai on the shoulder.
"I think you all understand, but I'll say it again. Our plan is simple: you three protect the balloons, and I'll burst the opponents' balloons. Harumiko, you protect Rai and his sister; they just need to protect the balloons!" Hiroshi said, smiling.
They nodded.
"Alright, let's do our best! This victory will be ours!" Hiroshi shouted.
"Go! Go! Go!"
Time passed, and everyone had formed their teams; four-person teams of equal strength.
"Alright, everyone knows their teammates! Let's begin the training!" the teacher announced.
"Alright, let's go! This is less training and more of a competition!" Hiroshi said, standing up.
As Hiroshi said, it was a battle, a competition; only victory mattered.
"Let's do our best and aim for first place!" Harumiko said, confident.
Everyone stood up, excited that the competition was about to begin.
"I'm glad to see your smiles. You're all prepared! Remember, you can't use weapons to attack the balloons, and no one can be injured," the teacher reiterated the rules.
The only significant rule was the prohibition against using weapons to burst balloons. The teacher wanted the students to engage in direct combat.
Bursting a balloon required strategy. Without a surprise attack, they'd have to fight directly, knock the opponent down, and then burst their balloon. Otherwise, it would be very difficult.
